Questacon is such a great place to visit, not only for children but also for young adults and people in their mid twenties! thank you to the member of staff who served us on Australia Day around 2.30pm; he was super friendly, considerate and polite and had a big smile on his face

Loved this place as a kid, fast forward 15yrs and I thoroughly enjoyed showing my son the many activities and exhibits...Spent over 5hrs exploring each and every level, enjoyed lunch in the cafe although it was pricey and over crowded it was school holidays after all. We will be back

It was a great layout and lots of activities for various ages. The vertical drop was particularly cool and worthwhile. It was great having the xylophones outside and the bubble making guy was super cool. Didn t spend as long as would have hoped, best to go when it s less crowded so the kiddies can have more time with activities

We had a great time here! We have smaller children so they loved area 6 with the playground, sensory play and water play area! We didn't try the cafe but bought some little goodies from the gift shop! Lockers were handy to store our nappy bag! Was great fun for our children and us big adults!

If you want to go to a place full off annoying kids that are sneezing everywhere, along with all of their germs. This is the place for you.
Would of enjoyed this place a bit more if it wasn t so crowded.

A great place to visit with the kids. Our little 7 year old loved it. There is lots to see so if you going plan a full day there. The entry fee was not too bad for the amount of stuff you get to see and play with. The cafe had reasonable prices and ok food, about on par for this type of venue. The exhibits are really interactive and are a great way to help the kids (and adults) learn all about the science around us. I highly recommend a visit.

Great tactile exhibits for kids of all ages. You can't help. It learn something. The tilting sand table that I walked past (a large ball bearing makes patterns as it rolls through the sand) was a beautiful highlight for me.

Great place to go for an afternoon of fun. The exhibits aren't necessarily childish and adults can have a pretty good time too. Look forward to the free fall slide at the end of the trip! It's a bit pricey so make sure to have your Student ID if you have one.

A great place to take kids of all ages, with plenty to interest adults too. This is the most educational and fun attraction of its kind I have visited and well worth a day or annual pass. It has added a lot of new elements in the last 6 months so consider visiting again.

As a visitor from the US I was highly impressed by this interactive science museum which really caters to kids, while being fun and educational. We spent the entire day and did not finish everything. My kids had a lot of fun and did not even realize that they were learning!. Highly recommend!

Great for the little kids and the big kids too! So many fun things to look at and touch and experiment with. Kids are encouraged to explore and get involved. Lots of parking and an amazing view.

Somewhat limited after recently returning from C-19 restrictions. Staff did a good job, given their limitations. 2 hrs is probably enough time to visit each Gallery. The Earthquake platform
Is still cool. Shame they didn t have the ball throwing speed radar.

If you're tired of museums where you can't touch anything, here's a place for you.

Interaction is recommended and encouraged.

You'll learn alot and much to do. Easily you can spend the whole afternoon lost in discovery and education, but not realising it.

Take your friends, children, parents and dates.

Don't miss out.

Questacon brings back a lot of fond memories when I last visited 14 years ago. Recently re-visited here, and I was quite sad! A few things that used to be there were either removed or renovated. :( but don t let this change your thoughts about visiting. There s a lot of scientific and geographic things to explore and read on - either for your little ones to gain further knowledge, or even yourself. Would definitely recommend if you re visiting Canberra.

What an absolute blast this is to attend with your children. There are so many displays and hands on activities you can easily spend a whole day there. Taking a break to watch the moon rotating in the main hall was a relaxing pause. The water play and role play rooms were very well attended and the science demonstration desk a big hit. Go early and have some time before it gets peak busy. Though this seems to be one of the higher cost places to visit make the most of it and have a science experience day.
