The children and I loved it, very hands on science.

Great hands-on experience for kids and adults alike! We loved the lightning room and being able to create storms in the revolving balls. And the pipes that suck in and blow our the scarfs! Heaps to keep kids busy, my 6yo absolutely drank it all in, my 4yo not so much. Lots of scientific stuff to read about for older kids too. A great day out in Canberra.

For those scientifically inclined, or just curious about the world - this place is an excellent brain workout. Both kids & adults can get plenty of entertainment here. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. And don't forget to give the free-fall slide a go!

An absolute must-do family activity in Canberra. Fun, stimulating, joyful, interesting. Staff are especially and noticeably great.

A good range of displays and activities for kids between 2-14 years of age. Give yourself atleast2 hours to enjoy the place. Paying for the parking was a let down.

It is a great place to go in the holidays! It has a massive drop slide, a cage of lightning, a kids area, a building workshop and countless science fun rooms. I would definitely recommend looking in the gift shop. Some really cute memos can be bought there! Definitely go! The minor cost is worth a day of fun for the whole family!

Great for all ages - this is not just for children.

Brilliant. The science is primary to early high school level but the interactive exhibits are for everyone.

A brilliant and "edutaining" museum, with no equal. From the lightening room, to the earthquake simulator, and the light and colour room.
There's so much to explore - and while clearly focused on entertaining children, it isn't unusual to see the children safe but forgoten as adults rediscover their love of science.

This is the best science museum! I can go anywhere in Japan!
Children will be delighted.
There are fun and easy-to-understand exhibits.
There are few exhibitions that are boring.
You can become athletic, play games, play sports, and play table hockey. But this is all a science exhibition! You can learn by experiencing!
There is also a slightly thrilling vertical slide. A game that shows your own ball speed!
Artificial intelligence and table hockey are also possible. It s so strong that I ca n t win at all. It's great enough if you get one or two points.
There is also an exhibit that shows the radiation that has just passed. Of course there is no danger. Radiation that is natural in nature. The place you pass is like a small white cloud line.
Of course, souvenir shops are also substantial and there are scientific toys.
If you are a souvenir for your daughter, the ring that changes color with emotion is recommended. (No matter what you think of it ...) I'm sure you'll be amazed and cute.
If you have kids and want to travel to Australia, you should definitely come!

What an amazing place for the kids and adults! Such a pity we don't have such an amazing place in Sydney.

Shows geared towards kids but the galleries are cool and interesting

I like it very much. I haven t been here since I came here a few years ago. I haven t felt enough for the whole five hours. I look forward to coming back next time. A small reminder, no need to pay more than a dozen knife parking fees on weekends~

LOVE IT. Could be here all day they even have a mini a fosr 0-6 year olds. Then the mindgames and they do experiments right in front you. See kids faces

This place is kids heaven. My boys can spend hours there. Exhibitions, plenty of parking... Just let the kids in and come back few hours later.

Questacon is an iconic part of Canberra. There is a wide variety of activities for everyone. On top of being fun, you learn so much without even knowing it!

Questacon is such a great place for all ages. We brought our 15 month old and he loved it. So much activity and interaction to stimulate his mind. Awesome place to visit while in Canberra. Science made fun.

The student fee is 17$ and for adults its 23$. There is a parking place up front the Questacon.

It's really fun and the staff is super nice! More for kids though than adoults but we had fun anywhow.

IT IS A MUST GO FOR CHILDREN ABOVE 7 YRS WITH SO MANY BIG AND SMALL EXPERIMENTS AND EXPERIENCES

PEOPLE WITH HANDICAP HAVE LIFTS.. THERE IS A BIG SLOPE ALL AROUND TO START FROM THE TOP AND COME DOWN TO VISIT THE MANY GALLERIES WHICH ARE SO UNIQUE IN TERMS OF PHYSICS CHEMISTRY AND EXPERIMENTS..

Great place for kids from 3 to 30. Be prepared to information overload though, it might be hard to cover it in one day.

Would give it 5 stars, but the coffee is disgusting. Literally the worst I've had in ages. The people responsible should be ashamed. Also you can buy coffee in a take away cup but you are not allowed to walk anywhere with it. The mind boggles at the idiocy of people responsible for decision making here.

Disappointed. Travelled quite a distance to bring my grandsons. The website said it was open, however, when we finally got there, a sign said it was closed.... Surely they could keep the website updated!

Always a popular spot for the kids and adults alike. No matter how many time you go theres always something new to learn. MiniQ is great for under 5's and free to enter.

My kids had to be dragged away after five hours. The galleries were great, and the performers in the shows were brilliant. Well worth a visit (and Museum Victoria Members get in for free).

Questacon has changed so dramtically from when I was a kid, the biggest dissapointment for me was that sideshow alley was changed. Not as I remember and doesn't have the same experience.
