Simply amazing. My kids had such a great time. My 3 year old constantly talks about going back! Im thinking of another Canberra holiday just to do this.

The ammount of interactive things to do goes on and on and on. We went to the Australian museum in Sydney and I couldn't help thinking... Why dont they follow the Questacon formula.

We met some locals who had yearly tickets. Took their kids all the time. Monthly. I have no doubt. Its so awesome. I loved watching my kids enjoy it so much.

Not worthy of 1 star even!

We love Questacon. It's a great place for adults and children to get their hands on science and technology experiments, learn more about the world we live in, etc. Enjoy the shows at the Japan Theatre. Cafe and souvenir shop just add to the outing. Staff and volunteers are warm and welcoming.

How great is this space?!??!?! Take the kids now, allow a whole day as there is loads to see and do. The exhibits are all so interactive really the kids were trying everything and loving it. Only complaint really is the food situation, the cafe and seating spaces available are far smaller than meeded, it was a struggle to find a space sit. Food options were also very limited, recommend at least packing some of your own snacks.

Well worth the time and money, kids can easily spend half to a full day there. Some adults seem to enjoy themselves participating with hands on interactive exhibits more than the kids :) On your next trip to Canberra - give it a go!

Great place to have kids explore the wonders of science. A clever way to let kids experience how the world works.
Staff is very patient and keen to explain the experiments to the kids

Wow, what a great place to visit. For young and old this place is amazing. So much to see and more importantly do. So many interactive exhibits. We had a great few hours here. Staff are friendly and knowledge. Plenty of parking. A great place to visit when in Canberra.

Visited Questacon on a weekend trip to Canberra.... still as fun as I remember it being when I was a kid. Educational and exciting, would definitely recommend a visit next time you re in Canberra.

Great for kids of all ages, can spend days here if you want to take the time to think through and explain the science behind each activity, a great place to be if you home school or just want to supplement regular school. Our 2.5 year old loved it and cried when it was time to go, which she rarely does for any other playground.

Really friendly staff, always looking to help. Also, the exhibits and exhibitions are phenomenal. The range of different interests is really high. I doubt if you came here you wouldn't be able to not enjoy yourself.

Great place for interactive education, both kids and adults. My eldest finally plucked up the courage to do the big drop slide last week and I was super proud.
They also change the exhibits from time to time and they pay attention to the details, which is great to see.

Good but not great, especially with respect to money charged. Very crowded so often hard to get on display stations. Scheduled show was highlight and good overall educational value. Just overpriced.

Questacon is amazing. I would highly recommend visiting it when in Canberra. Easy to find with a good size car park. There was a gift shop and a cafe. Everything met my expectations. Definately 5 stars.

Tons of fun for the whole family! Lovely exhibits help kids (and adults) visualize scientific concepts. Staff are friendly and helpful. Gallery 5 has fun build-it-yourself type activities for kids. Gallery 6 is an indoor playground for kids under 6 with a water play area. Pity we came a little late so we missed the shows. Highly recommended! We will definitely come again if we're back in canberra!

came back as an adult, still a fun and great experience bit sad about the earthquake house no longer a thing and being replaced with something a little less fun. the lightening cage was interesting but kinda disappointing considering what you see people accomplish in their backyards with Tesla coils. also the guillotine is gone. cafe prices are pretty reasonable and the gift shop is standard museum expensive. still a must see in Canberra to go to questacon

One of the best place to go with kids

One of the best place to go with kids
Heaps of activities for children and adults as well
We can spend hours at this place and kids never complain
If you live in Canberra I recommend to do the membership as it will save in the cold Canberra weekends

Great

My (almost) 5-year-old had an absolute blast here! He loves his science and the staff were very friendly and entertaining. The kids' play area down the bottom was also very popular with my 2.5-year-old. I used to come here as a kid and it just gets better and better!
