Amazing experience, with a lot of things to learn....
Amazing experience, with a lot of things to learn. Planned on visiting for few hours but ended up spending the entire day.
Amazing experience, with a lot of things to learn. Planned on visiting for few hours but ended up spending the entire day.
Loads of exhibits, be sure to visit if you love science
So hands-on and informative. Learn so much every time I visit. Staff are extra helpful and so passionate!
Looking forward to taking my kids here one day and wishful that they'd introduce an adults only version
Very amazing place and the kids loved it! I'd say its overpriced though
Water play was very popular for our 2 yr old and the 2 x 5 1/2yr olds. Went in twice!
Great place for adults and kids alike. Particularly enjoyed the periodic table (with the real elements in each of the small cube) and the AI/robot room. At the end we could lie down and admire the big moon.
There's great shows on (funny and educational), lots of interactive displays to help understand the concept explained, good selection of food at the cafe, baby play area (up to six years old) for those that are too young and have short attention span, and finally I was impressed that they changed their exhibition every year. Will be back again next year (if not sooner)
Full of science and wonderful things! Awesome place to teach kids science!
I enjoyed my free time very much. I want to go again.
Great place to visit. Plenty of fun and exciting activities for people of all ages. Kids especially loved the water play area
The kids enjoyed it. There was a lot to do and see. You probably only need about 3-4 hours to see everything.
We went there for camp, it was the best thing in my life!! #Must Go There
Great fun place. Not everything was working and got super busy, but fun
What an amazing science and technology museum. Not only for the kids, this is an engaging and interesting place for adults, too. We spent an easy 4 hours here, and could have easily stayed another 2. Amazing staff, great exhibits. Love it!
Great for kids and adults. My daughter loved it and I did too...
There is so much to see and do, that if you stop for morning tea or lunch, you can easily spend 3-4 hours there. Parking, entry and a small snack bought for a family of 4 will set you back around $100 conservatively. Unfortunately not all the tables/exhibits are monitored regularly which means children over 10 who are not near parents/teachers tend to take 10 minutes on an activity without regard for other younger children waiting their turn. I do feel assume time limit signs may be of benefit, even if only a little.
Best time to arrive is 9-10am. After 10:30 during school holidays or weekend gets busy, and by 11:30 the line up is nearly out the door.
Had so much fun here:) truly entertaining and informative.
Absolutely necessary to come here if you have kids! We easily spent 4 hours there, but could have spent longer there if we wanted to
A must with kids, might be better on weekends to avoid all the bus loads of school kids on the Canberra trip.
Who doesn't love Questacon!! Kids love it, so much to do and see, great science experiments for kids. The cafe food is awesome great portions and affordable.
Kids had a ball. We had to come back another day so they could explore what they missed previously.
Unfortunately because of covid-19, the bookings are small and don't have enough time to enjoy all the exhibits and read all information. Your pushed on till the end.
The only thing not to love about this place are the crowds! Which is its own endorsement! But having said that it is well organised, just be patient.
Great centre and very interesting but unfortunately it is not an ideal place to take a 5 year old.
Brilliant science museum. Fantastic activities. The zones and walkways are organized very well.
Such a fun place for adults as well as for kids. Lots of things to see and to do. Highly recommended.
Awesome. So much fun and need to go back a second day to see the rest
Must visit place for science enthusiastics Used to have many science experiments to have hands on experience. But due to covid those are limited. Mission to Mars is a good educational tour for astronomy enthusiastics
Great venue, some staff seem a little less than thrilled to be there
One of the best things you can do with your kids, ever!
Great place for family with kids. U need an entire day here.
Easily spend a whole day here. Make sure you go to the shows. The balloon one is a must.
I have to admit that my wife and I had way more fun learning and exploring than I expected full grown adults would at this designed for kids, science museum. But if you are a science nerd like me this is your Disneyland. Come in, forget your age and enjoy learning as we were meant to. I'm also guessing if you are already a kid you would enjoy it as well.
Kids loved it, I loved it. The whole place was generally in pretty good condition and cleanliness. Loads to see and do!
Highly recommended ...great fun, a lear and ing experience for the kids
Got kids? Or not? Doesn't matter. If you love the science in its many forms this is a Canberra must do! You skip this joint while you're in town? You'll lose IQ points, guaranteed! Deadset - this place will make you proper learned and educated, what! Plus the staff are all sexy nerds :)
Always awesome. Love that it's free entry for Museum Victoria members.
Freaking awesome place. If you have kids or just love science this is an absolute must visit place. Their interactive displays are so much fun you don't even realise you're learning. When hit comes to the enlighten festival Questacon always puts on the most amazing display. March 2019 the moon display is a must see too.
A lot a fun for both kids and adults! Lots of fun activities to do and things to learn.
The food is not only great but very well priced and is cooked very fast.
All the staff are friendly!
Some of the visitors can be rude and pushy which can be a shame to an otherwise amazing day out.
Great day out with 2 families from age of 1 - 45. Fun was had by all and activities enough to occupy all of us!
This was our second trip and sure we ll be back again!
A great space for kids and family. You will find fantastic facilities in the building for children self learning even adults.
Lots of fun and interactive installations. Great for kids as well as adults!
If you have kids this is a must visit when in Canberra, something for most types of kids and a cafe for the parents too. Can easily spend half a day here if not longer.
This is still a great place to visit. It will inspire and challenge young and old alike with interactive engaging science. Unfortunately my favourite exhibit, the cloud table was broken this time. Mini Q is fantastic for toddlers and preschoolers, expansion maybe.
When I went here as a kid I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for something to do in Canberra.
I. Absolutely. LOVE IT. There's great shopping and activities. The outside is surely the most fancy thing I've seen so far.
An excellent display of scientific theories in practical and interactive exhibits. Must go to place in Canberra for kids and adults alike. Facility maintenance and staff are top notch. Situated in a nice neighborhood with limited 4 hour paid parking which ous free on Sundays. Not sure about Saturdays.
Fantastic place for the entire family, kids can go crazy exploring.
Questacon was very interesting great for kids ,,, people that friendly and the place was so nice and clean
Fantastic day out for kids of all ages. Easy to spend a whole day exploring
It was awesome! I think we enjoyed it as much as our daughter did :)
Currently no general admission due to COVID. 90 minute tours only, and must book days ahead. Great venue though.
What a great place for both children and adults! My two kids 5 and 2 spent the whole afternoon here and didn't want to leave.
Fascinating and engaging, brilliant for both the young and the old enquiring mind. Even the carpark had attractions!
Very nice place and lots of interesting things to get knowledge
The one and only questacon! Great for all ages and is the world and science you can get involved in. Great kids big and small
It s a great place to visit with the grandchildren. To see them engaged and thoroughly enjoying the experiments and the practical application of science is great. This is how future scientists are born. And old engineers remember their love of machinery and things that go wheeeeee
Great fun for entire family and children of all ages and abilities
Questacon is an amazing place to visit for kids of all ages! My neices and nephews thoroughly enjoyed their time and so did I! You can easily spend 5 hours here and not get bored. Highly recommend visiting.
We love this place, there was even plenty for my one year old to explore, I'd come every week if it weren't so expensive
It was a very hands on and interactive science based learning experience, plenty for kids to see and do. Excellent gift shop too.
It's awesome! We have visited twice and only been able to see 3 galeries (there are 7 in total). There is so much to see that it's impossible to cover in one day. Be ready to go back!
Science! And fun! Many activities for kids and adults to demonstrate scientific concepts in fun and interesting ways.
If you think as an adult you will enjoy Questacon as much as you did when you were a child, you are grossly mistaken. Unsupervised children who want to push buttons and pull levers run rampant making it impossible for an adult to enjoy themselves. While I do understand that it is a Childrens Learning Centre, parents should be keeping a closer eye on their kids and not letting them run all around the place. It also smells like childrens farts.
