Great place for adults and kids alike. Particularly enjoyed the periodic table (with the real elements in each of the small cube) and the AI/robot room. At the end we could lie down and admire the big moon.

There's great shows on (funny and educational), lots of interactive displays to help understand the concept explained, good selection of food at the cafe, baby play area (up to six years old) for those that are too young and have short attention span, and finally I was impressed that they changed their exhibition every year. Will be back again next year (if not sooner)

What an amazing science and technology museum. Not only for the kids, this is an engaging and interesting place for adults, too. We spent an easy 4 hours here, and could have easily stayed another 2. Amazing staff, great exhibits. Love it!

There is so much to see and do, that if you stop for morning tea or lunch, you can easily spend 3-4 hours there. Parking, entry and a small snack bought for a family of 4 will set you back around $100 conservatively. Unfortunately not all the tables/exhibits are monitored regularly which means children over 10 who are not near parents/teachers tend to take 10 minutes on an activity without regard for other younger children waiting their turn. I do feel assume time limit signs may be of benefit, even if only a little.
Best time to arrive is 9-10am. After 10:30 during school holidays or weekend gets busy, and by 11:30 the line up is nearly out the door.

Must visit place for science enthusiastics Used to have many science experiments to have hands on experience. But due to covid those are limited. Mission to Mars is a good educational tour for astronomy enthusiastics

I have to admit that my wife and I had way more fun learning and exploring than I expected full grown adults would at this designed for kids, science museum. But if you are a science nerd like me this is your Disneyland. Come in, forget your age and enjoy learning as we were meant to. I'm also guessing if you are already a kid you would enjoy it as well.

Got kids? Or not? Doesn't matter. If you love the science in its many forms this is a Canberra must do! You skip this joint while you're in town? You'll lose IQ points, guaranteed! Deadset - this place will make you proper learned and educated, what! Plus the staff are all sexy nerds :)

Freaking awesome place. If you have kids or just love science this is an absolute must visit place. Their interactive displays are so much fun you don't even realise you're learning. When hit comes to the enlighten festival Questacon always puts on the most amazing display. March 2019 the moon display is a must see too.

A lot a fun for both kids and adults! Lots of fun activities to do and things to learn.

The food is not only great but very well priced and is cooked very fast.

All the staff are friendly!

Some of the visitors can be rude and pushy which can be a shame to an otherwise amazing day out.

This is still a great place to visit. It will inspire and challenge young and old alike with interactive engaging science. Unfortunately my favourite exhibit, the cloud table was broken this time. Mini Q is fantastic for toddlers and preschoolers, expansion maybe.

An excellent display of scientific theories in practical and interactive exhibits. Must go to place in Canberra for kids and adults alike. Facility maintenance and staff are top notch. Situated in a nice neighborhood with limited 4 hour paid parking which ous free on Sundays. Not sure about Saturdays.

It s a great place to visit with the grandchildren. To see them engaged and thoroughly enjoying the experiments and the practical application of science is great. This is how future scientists are born. And old engineers remember their love of machinery and things that go wheeeeee

Questacon is an amazing place to visit for kids of all ages! My neices and nephews thoroughly enjoyed their time and so did I! You can easily spend 5 hours here and not get bored. Highly recommend visiting.

If you think as an adult you will enjoy Questacon as much as you did when you were a child, you are grossly mistaken. Unsupervised children who want to push buttons and pull levers run rampant making it impossible for an adult to enjoy themselves. While I do understand that it is a Childrens Learning Centre, parents should be keeping a closer eye on their kids and not letting them run all around the place. It also smells like childrens farts.
