As fun as I remember it being when I last visited (back in 2000). Not sure if I m in the target market any more, but was super enjoyable.

Questacon is great, I have four boys from 16 - 8 and they all had a great day. They all found something interesting to do and learn. The live shows are always fantastic and make great bookends to the day.
Good place to learn about science. My son loved the place ( 7y) i loved the presentation done about the space.
Wow, fantastic place for kids to play, explore, touch, learn and have fun. The layout of this place is fantastic. Unfortunately the cafe was a let down, not much of a range if food on the menu and seating was limited.
Excellent place for exploration for little and large minds. Xx
Our kids love to visit everytime we are in Canberra
My kids and I equally love this place. So much to see, so much to do. BBQ outside saved my picnic plan in Canberra during Floriade while most of the BBQs in the parks were out of service or occupied. So convenient parking, centrally located for public access..just all goodm
Lots of fun stuff to do, rather crowded on a Sunday, but it was on a no admission fee day.
This is a awesome place to learn with your children.
So much to do and see here for kids and adults alike. We needed to come back a second day as kids loved it so much!
Everything is awesome. Especially Q-lab and the staff.
Questacon itself was fantastic! The kids loved it and was great for adults to get involved in the hands on science and tech fun too.
Big sour on the day when both our chicken schnitzel burgers arrived from the cafe still very much raw in the middle. On returning the second to the kitchen we were told 'the deep fryers can cause discolouration that makes it look raw'. Not impressed. We were given free replacement food of our choice, but honesty is always the best policy when a mistake has been made.
Great place to visit, especially with kids. Can get pretty busy with school groups.
Really fun place to learn about science also like the Tetanus Plushes in the gift shop.
Top place and always has been. New additions are incredible especially the kids 3 - 6 year old play area. Worth getting a membership
Utterly brilliant for kids and adults - even toddlers love itq
This place is great for a day out with the family. It has lots of things to do with science and some great information sessions. Can be a bit pricey but worth it if you're going to take your time and look at everything it has to offer. Check out the free fall slide, it's a killer!
High recommended....specially for school going kids.
Great place for kids to learn about science. Fantastic shows. You could spend a whole day here. Free parking on weekends.
i came here when i went to Canberra and it was just mind blowing for how good it is.
It's hard to make science seem interesting but Questacon manages to pull it off. Great fun, would recommend.
Kids loved it, spent the best part of a day exploring and playing. Little did they know what's really going on. Pathways to (hopefully) something better than mum n dad ever could achive. Yes it's a tad on the pricy side for a low-mid income family, but saving $5 a month gets us in hear once a year.
Slightly expensive but all worth it for the amazing exhibits and fun activities. Great gift shop with actually useful things not souvenir junk. Friendly staff and I can't emphasise enough how good the exhibits are!
Great place to go with kids. Lots of interesting facilities. They even have a Tesla coil tower inside a Faraday's cell doing lightning every 30 mins. Lots of facilities for young ones and a little bigger once, e.g. robots programming experience.
Great place for the little kids....AND the big kids among us. Answers to all your scientific questions in all forms of the sciences.
Thoroughly enjoyed it with the kids. The staff were beyond amazing.
Really interesting place for kids, adults and transgendereds!
It was definitely great but I like history more. 3/5.
Great place, get there early on school holidays, and getting your tickets online is a good idea as well.
The experience itself is quite fantastic and it could have been an easy 5 stars but frankly the food is a complete disgrace. Being such a phenomenal experience, if this is the standard of food Questacon management think is even a tolerable benchmark to showcase to our young ones, not to mention the adults (rock like schnitzels, dried old salad in the wraps, pathetic unhealthy choices the rest.....or course I must mention - coffee was the only saviour) ....up your game Questacon....!!!
Great hands on learning and highly entertaining. Not just for the kids. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is one of the reasons I wish I lived in Canberra. So much fun for everyone. The best part was the room of experiments where you could ask questions and just follow curiosity. I had to tear myself reluctantly away for a family gathering.
Looooots of fun for both young and old, plus learning along the way of you take the time to read what you are doing.
Lots of interactive things to try and do.
Even in school holidays it wasn't crazy busy or at least everyone could still get a go of everything within a few minutes.
Looking to come back again, maybe without the kids..
Kids absolutely love the place. Learning made fun for all ages. Protip: avoid school holiday visits!
Got kids? You need to visit.
Like science? You need to visit.
Food was ok but since me being a vegetarian there was not much option. Activities were great and my little one loved to Mini Q. Visitors also shouldn t expect to go a few places in one day including Questacon! It is certainly a great place to go with children of all ages.
Great place to take kids. Recommend buying annual membership.
Great place to get kids (and adults) excited about Science!
Great place to visit..lots to see do and learn. Good cafe on site
Great place to go
Educational and knowledgeable
Really nice place to visit, tonnes of things to do and the vast majority is HIGHLY interactive!
Great place to bring kids.
Went here with the family and the kids absolutely loved it. Can easily spend a good few hours here.
Lots of fun. The exhibitions change regularly and were lots of fun. The new giant moon is awesome and the robo- air hockey was inspiring.
And I suggest you try the big drop.
Very informative and enjoyable for kids . Kids can build planes and get to play that in a game. Super cool! . Can take around 2-3 hrs to visit the whole place. The cafe at the ground level is good and affordable . They also have plays or drama at certain time intervals Must place to see if you are in Canberra. Come early to beat the queue.
best place for school and college students for studying science subject
Awesome. Need a membership, because you can't do it all in one day.
Brilliant museum for kids of all ages and adults. Shame the cafe doesn't offer more healthy choices and there is little focus on recycling
Do not go on the weekend.... Too many people and no order or time limits in viewing attractions so we had to pass on all the activities
Great place for kids and adults. Lots of things to see and do.
Oh yeah. But i'm biased. A Scientific background and two girls under 6:-)
Kids loved how everything was hands on. A little disappointed that the science lab had no experiments happening.
The most fun I have had with my daughter in a long time! And we learnt so much at the same time.
This is an absolutely brilliant place to take kids, even quite young. Lots of interactive activities, give them an interest in life/science/fun of a questioning style. My grandchildren loved it, and still talk about it years later
Great place for Pokemon trainers. With nightly meet ups and a portable coffee van to help you catch them all.
Questacon seemed to focussed on younger kids and the kids around about us seemed to be loving the interactive nature of the exhibits. The teens we had with us struggled a little to be completely immersed in the experience.
Definitely one of the best science museums I've ever been to! Extremely interactive with friendly staff. Alot to do if you have kids. Including shows. Even awesome for adults! Great fun no matter what!
