Questacon is great, I have four boys from 16 - 8 and they all had a great day. They all found something interesting to do and learn. The live shows are always fantastic and make great bookends to the day.

Wow, fantastic place for kids to play, explore, touch, learn and have fun. The layout of this place is fantastic. Unfortunately the cafe was a let down, not much of a range if food on the menu and seating was limited.

My kids and I equally love this place. So much to see, so much to do. BBQ outside saved my picnic plan in Canberra during Floriade while most of the BBQs in the parks were out of service or occupied. So convenient parking, centrally located for public access..just all goodm

Questacon itself was fantastic! The kids loved it and was great for adults to get involved in the hands on science and tech fun too.

Big sour on the day when both our chicken schnitzel burgers arrived from the cafe still very much raw in the middle. On returning the second to the kitchen we were told 'the deep fryers can cause discolouration that makes it look raw'. Not impressed. We were given free replacement food of our choice, but honesty is always the best policy when a mistake has been made.

Fun

This place is great for a day out with the family. It has lots of things to do with science and some great information sessions. Can be a bit pricey but worth it if you're going to take your time and look at everything it has to offer. Check out the free fall slide, it's a killer!

Kids loved it, spent the best part of a day exploring and playing. Little did they know what's really going on. Pathways to (hopefully) something better than mum n dad ever could achive. Yes it's a tad on the pricy side for a low-mid income family, but saving $5 a month gets us in hear once a year.

Slightly expensive but all worth it for the amazing exhibits and fun activities. Great gift shop with actually useful things not souvenir junk. Friendly staff and I can't emphasise enough how good the exhibits are!

Great place to go with kids. Lots of interesting facilities. They even have a Tesla coil tower inside a Faraday's cell doing lightning every 30 mins. Lots of facilities for young ones and a little bigger once, e.g. robots programming experience.

The experience itself is quite fantastic and it could have been an easy 5 stars but frankly the food is a complete disgrace. Being such a phenomenal experience, if this is the standard of food Questacon management think is even a tolerable benchmark to showcase to our young ones, not to mention the adults (rock like schnitzels, dried old salad in the wraps, pathetic unhealthy choices the rest.....or course I must mention - coffee was the only saviour) ....up your game Questacon....!!!

This is one of the reasons I wish I lived in Canberra. So much fun for everyone. The best part was the room of experiments where you could ask questions and just follow curiosity. I had to tear myself reluctantly away for a family gathering.

Looooots of fun for both young and old, plus learning along the way of you take the time to read what you are doing.
Lots of interactive things to try and do.
Even in school holidays it wasn't crazy busy or at least everyone could still get a go of everything within a few minutes.
Looking to come back again, maybe without the kids..

Food was ok but since me being a vegetarian there was not much option. Activities were great and my little one loved to Mini Q. Visitors also shouldn t expect to go a few places in one day including Questacon! It is certainly a great place to go with children of all ages.

Very informative and enjoyable for kids . Kids can build planes and get to play that in a game. Super cool! . Can take around 2-3 hrs to visit the whole place. The cafe at the ground level is good and affordable . They also have plays or drama at certain time intervals Must place to see if you are in Canberra. Come early to beat the queue.

This is an absolutely brilliant place to take kids, even quite young. Lots of interactive activities, give them an interest in life/science/fun of a questioning style. My grandchildren loved it, and still talk about it years later

Questacon seemed to focussed on younger kids and the kids around about us seemed to be loving the interactive nature of the exhibits. The teens we had with us struggled a little to be completely immersed in the experience.
