It's a fun day out for the family. Plenty of things to do in several rooms. They cater for little ones too with a room downstairs for them -You book a timeslot for this. There's something for big kids and little kids, and adults too. We go about once per year and a lot stays the same, but there are changes each time too. The kids often do the same things again, but that's part of reinforcing the concepts on offer, and they probably get a fresh perspective on them each time. We always have fun. The last few times we've been we've run into people who do something selfish while we're there, though. Whether in the car park or the interactive robot near the exit. There's a little cafe there, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It's worth a visit.

This place was real value for money. $70 for a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 children. We got here at 10am and left at 4:30pm closes at 5pm. Has alot of levels to look around and kids will be occupied all day. Has alot of toilets and is real easy to find which is great when you've got 3 children. Has sanitizer in every room. Was really enjoyable.

My wife and I (sans children) enjoyed a fantastic day here playing and learning. Whilst it may be considered a children's destination I can assure knowledge hunger adults will enjoy it just as much.

Amazing Museum. Ome of the best science museum I have been. It is very interactive, heaps of good information and shows for the kids.
I love the new structure in rooms so each room is for a different topic.
A good robotic exhibition.
Highly recommended it.

One of my fav. museums in canberra, especially when young people are in tow. One novelty here is the design of the building, where you start upstairs and slowly wind your way down through the exhibits.

Exhibits cater for all interest, with fascinatong displays for all and anyone. I personally think the Periodic Table which was really the periodic cupboard, showed where each chemical was used. Also interesting to see the doffeeent animal eyes in the corridor.

Go have a look!

Gone here ever since I was three and I absoultey love this place. Everything's interactive and super fun! (even for the big kids). And for the little kids Mini Q is brilliant. Super great place to get your childs imagination flowing, they can be a baker, vet or even an astronaut. Once you've finished looking at the gallaries, you head around to the cafe for some yummy (though a bit pricey) food, or you can buy some cool science merchandise at the shop.

Great fun for the kids and family, the cafe is decent too.

I feel that the rooms could flow a little better, I think our kids missed some exhibits because everything is scattered but that's more of an observation than a complaint.

The 0-6 year old play area is great as well if you have little little ones.

This is a perfect day out for people with or without kids. It has 7 levels and each level is just as engaging. Even if the child is not old enough to understand electricity and magnetism or force, it's still a lot of learning exposure with so much fun because of the different ways in which concepts are explained , illustrated with real life phenomena and simulations. I haven't seen a museum that engaging so far.

Lots to do and plenty of staff around to assist with exhibits and explanations. Not that great for 2-3 yr olds as some of the sounds will be too loud. Great for 4+ yr olds! Cafe has a decent selection of food too!

Can't like Questacon enough! Our family has the annual pass and we make use of it. With over 6 floors of exhibitions and the 'Mini Q' area for little people, it is top of our list for things to do on the weekend.

Great place to spend a day in Canberra, especially with kids. Caters to all ages, there's something for everyone. Very accessible layout, and you can get reciprocal entry from membership in a number of other science museums around the country (the website has more info).

Rude staff regarding pre booked tours. We made a mistake but in the pouring rain with a baby the staff could he a bit more.compassionate or at least let us dry him/us off first before leaving

Fun science stuff for all ages! You need to watch the shows at the Japan Theatre. We've been to a Rocket propulsion themed show by a young funny Kazakh scientist. He's awesome and the kids loved him.

Three hours of total enlightening experience for kids and adults alike. Ample parking. Great exhibits with some hi tech ones. Every inch has something to offer in terms of learning. Don't miss q lab. Cafe for the famished if you are willing to spend a few bucks more but certainly worth it. Make sure you take your young ones there and avail great family deals.
