Bottom line here is simple : you folks are the standard by which EVERY dealership should strive to emulate.
Your service department is without question the best in every aspect. Courteous, efficient, competent... Most important, your staff actually communicates with the customer where others merely talk AT you instead of with you.
I will continue to bring my baby in whenever she needs attention with the confidence in knowing that she's in great hands.

by far the fastest/smoothest/very exited experience ever!! my wife and i were shocked, Quality Chevrolet exceeded our expectations Jr, Ed sales person, one of the straight our person i met, made our experience unforgettable, Jonathon over in finance was outstanding he made everything work out and got us a huge deal, i have refer my co workers and friends to Ed because he knows what his doing and is pretty familiar with making deals work, very professional and funny guy, he greeted us with Joy and respect since we got there he made our stay very pleasant. i am a person that goes by reviews and at first when i was looking for a new truck i was looking into yelp and Quality had not so good reviews but as i was reading them i thought to my self well why not give them a chance besides its pretty close to my house, after my purchase i will give this dealership and staff a 10 star rating for over exceeding my expectation,. there is no hidden fees or anything like that like what reviews say everything is straight forward, i i did my application online and went in the next day they had my truck wash and ready just to sign paper work and that was it. BEST Dealership Ever.. and did i mention premier chevy is 5 min from my house,, buy i am happy i went to Quality...

Edit: after posting my review and receiving a response on the review from Lewis, I did as he asked and sent him an emailing detailing my experience. I sent him an email on 10/24... as of today, I still have not heard from him. This is just another indication that this dealership and service department don t value their customers and their feedback. I am changing my original review from 2 stars down to 1.

When I first purchased my car from this dealership 5 years ago, I was very satisfied with the whole experience. However, now 5 years later, I am less than satisfied with the service department. I took my car in for service at the beginning of September due to a check engine light and since I knew my warranty was close to expiration, I asked that they also perform a 75,000 mile and general check of the vehicle. They said that everything looked good. Now just over 1 month later another warning light came on and I am told that the repair will cost over $1500. This repair would have been covered by my warranty that just expired 3 weeks ago! So if they had found this when my car was in before, I wouldn t have to pay. But now I am forced to pay out of pocket for this repair. There is no loyalty. Needless to say, I am taking my vehicle elsewhere for service. And I will not purchase any future vehicles from this dealership or recommend them to anyone looking for a new car or service.

Highly recommend Quality Chevrolet in Escondido, and highly recommend Vania Ramos in Sales! Leased a 2021 Z71 Suburban and were extremely impressed with the competitive pricing. But above all, we were blown away by Vania's level of customer service and attention. Due to calendar and logistics challenges, we weren't able to make it to the dealership for a few days -- but Vania offered to drive our new car to our home in Carlsbad that same day and to complete necessary paperwork at our home. Amazing. We were truly delighted and will be loyal Quality Chevrolet customers going forward!

I feel very disappointed with the car I purchased ...

I feel very disappointed with the car I purchased and with the dealership I bought it from. Mainly the repair part of the dealership.

I bought my car in 2015 since then the check engine light has lit up three times for 1-2 min. I thought nothing of it a glitch in the system when i took my car to get services i was told similar things.

Last week the light went on and stayed on for 3 days in that time the car has been acting up and after the light went away it stalled twice.

An appointment wasn't available till today, I took my car in and was told to look at it would be an estimate of $225.

I asked about warranty and was told it didn't cover this. Keep in mind a mechanic hadn't looked at my car. I ask if they could just look at it and not fix it. I was told they could do that, it would be $225. I raised my voice a little (not of purpose but out of anger & frustration) and was told it would be $136.

Nothing had changed but the volume of my voice and the price had dropped nearly in half.

I did not get my car worked one because prior to Bill i have been told my warranty would cover the issue by two people ,one of whom had actually gathered all my info from the computer and car to give to Bill so he could finish checking me in (think they have quotas or something because i didn't ask for Bill, he was assigned my appointment and even though he was busy no one else could check me in).

I felt I was being taken advantage of because of my age and lack of knowledge on the subject.

I think if I bought my car from you and it started to act up 1 yr and a half later it is your obligation to make sure it's not a defect in the car and yes this should be done for free. If the issue is due to an external force then I think the fair thing would be to charge $50 or $75 for just looking at the car and if the customer wishes to continue the repair process then that money should apply to the repair fee just like most other repair shops do.

The feature on my 2016 Silverado tailgate use to have a soft close when I bought it and it stopped working. I was told by the service tech that it was fixed, but it was not. When I asked him about it he said that the manufacturer changed the part that makes it a soft open because they had so many complaints- I guess he thinks I am stupid! the 2018 loaner Silverado tailgate worked like mine use to- he had no explanation and they didn't fix it.
The other issue was when I brought the truck in for an oil change (specifically asked for oil change) they also rotated my tires that were just rotated by a tire shop, they also charged me for the rotation. When I brought this up he offered to put the tires back where they were and never offered a refund.
I later received an email from the service manager saying if I had any complaints to let him know so he could address them. I sent him an email and never heard back.
My opinion of Quality Chevrolet in Escondido is they should be called "NOT Quality Chevrolet."

The whole process was very professional and courte...

The whole process was very professional and courteous. Since I had chosen and finalized all of the pricing and fees over email, the dealership experience was very quick and painless. There was no high pressure sales tactics or other shady things that other dealers may be known for. I came in, signed all the paperwork and drove out in about an hour and a half. The sales lady had all my paperwork ready for me to sign with a couple different options on how to finance. Once those were taken care of, the rest of the papers were signed and the finance lady tried to match the loan options I found online and was extremely helpful at trying to get the best deal possible. Every number matched exactly to what was emailed out, so signed the paperwork and it was done. I had a great experience and look forward to recommending other people to Quality Chevrolet for their vehicle needs.

They over promise on times for service and no one seems to really be in any sense of urgency when they are late. 1 and 1/2 hours over the quoted time cost me two scheduled appointments and no one seemed really concerned. I will be finding alternative service elsewhere. $70K vehicle and this is not what i expected.

This dealership is simply ridiculous, I come in at 11, fill out paperwork, do their bs they run credit and get me approved, then I'm told right before I come to take delivery of the car, that they just sold the car to someone else. In California that's a violation of the deceptive trade and practice act for which I'm going to sue them, not to mention Junior Bernal casually stated "between you and I" that he can lower my interest rate if I buy GAP and a Service Contract, that's consumer fraud, they lie to their consumers and the lenders in which they work with and submit deals to.

MY balance to zero and I assumed that everything was taken care off. In fact I had emailed the CEO of GM Financial Mary Ibara and when I checked my account it was zero . Three weeks later I start getting calls from GM Financial now im being charged $528.00. My GM account now shows i owe $528 and an BEING CHARGED FOR A $395 FEE THAT YOUR LYING SALES PEOPLE AND FINANCE MANGER PROMISED ME WOULD BE WAIVED IF I BOUGHT ANOTHE VEHICLE FROM YOU WHILST I STILL HAD 4 MONTHS LEFT ON MY LEASE .

i was promised the disposition fee of $395.00 would be waived on a returned leased vehicle and it was't . This may be more of a complaint against GM but I do feel that I have to make this known to anyone considering leasing a Chevy or GM brand .
Here is the review : American Autos have not had the best reputation in the past but they have improved big time over the last decade and when my Toyota electric car lease ended , I needed another 5 seat electric and Toyota only had a 4 seater . I ended up leasing a 2017 Chevy Bolt on a 39 month lease and really liked the car . With a few months left on my lease I started to look at options and ended up a great offer and decided to buy a 2020 Chevy Bolt (earlier than I had anticipated) . This meant that I would be carrying an extra vehicle payment and insurance for approx 4 months but I was able to avail of what was remaining of the Federal tax credit that was running out. The Dealership also assured me that the Disposition fee of $395 on the returned leased vehicle would be waived . Forward four months later I have the car professionally cleaned and drop of the 2017 Chevy Bolt a week early and under the allocated mileage for the lease. I remind the guy at the dealership of a promise to waive the disposition fee and he assures me that it will not be charged . I sign a paper and the process is easy .The guy at the dealership tells me that there will be an inspection by some inspector from GE Financial . I think ok - no big deal- but In the back of my mind i am thinking this is unusual ; maybe there is an FU coming because you cannot challenge it there and then . In the past , whenever i dropped off my leased vehicles at Toyota the paperwork process took a bit longer but the process was transparent and there was no possibility of a surprise hidden bill later. Well guess what , low and behold approx a month later I receive a $1250 bill from GM Financial . $395 disposition fee and $768. 00 in wear and tear fee plus $90.00 in Gov fees( tax ?) . The reason I gave perhaps more background info at the start of the review is that I wanted to give some history because people do not switch their Auto dealer easily or often. It is really difficult to get consumers to change perceptions of a brand in the auto industry and can takes decades . I made that jump and switched brands. Indeed I love the Chevy Bolt EV , have no complaints about the quality of the vehicle BUT will never buy/ lease another Chevrolet or any Brand associated with General Motors . I haven't started the process of disputing the charges but the reality is that I will never do business with General Motors again and will tell everyone NOT to do business . Was it worth screwing a customer and losing the life time value of that customer and their family ?

Went in for oil change and replace compass module. Crew did not know how to recalibrate replacement and there was communication with OnStar and GM as to how to proceed. Took two days and I had to travel between the dealership and Ramona. The dealership did provide a rental car, which I did appreciate. Just glad I'm retire so I had plenty of time.

Hit or miss. My wife had a bad experience with a pushy disrespectful sales manager. Then when we went back together our salesman and team were excellent. They have some of the best deals in the area as well. Just be careful who you get.

I made an appointment to have my automobile lubricated. I was given the time of 2:00 PM. I was told the car would be ready at 5:00, but that someone would call me when it was time to collect it. Having heard nothing by 5:15, I called and was told I could collect the car. When I arrived and went to the cashier, I learned only the oil and filter had been changed, and that I would need to return the car for the transmission, rear end to have the lubricant changed, as well as for the radiator to be drained and refilled. No one had previously advised me of the potential for not finishing the work. I am not too happy with Quality Chevrolet's service capabilitied.

Buying a car during a pandemic is not the greatest thing but the service we received was beyond exceptional. We have been looking for a car for months. The other dealerships we went to made us feel pressured and didn t listen to our needs in a car. Roman and Junior were so kind and informative, they helped us the whole day to make sure that we got into the car we wanted. In addition, the shop was clean and the employees practiced good hygiene the whole visit. I would 100% recommend buying a car from Quality Chevy! Do not waste your time at other dealerships! Definitely quality service and quality vehicles!

I've been here a few times, bought a truck here back in 2016 and had a great experience. Had it serviced here a number of times and everyone was usually very helpful. Today on the other hand I was looking to trade in my wife's SUV. Mind you it's only 8 months old and has less then 8k miles on it. They basically said they couldn't help me unless I wanted to pay for both that loan on top of the new one while only having the new vehicle. The sales guy wasn't helpful and all and the sales manager lied to my face. And didn't have anything to say when I caught him. I won't be doing business here again. Hopefully they figure it out that the staff should be honest and up front with people.

I would recommend purchasing a car there. But the service department staff is very cold and seems uncaring. I showed up for my appointment 10 minutes early like I was told and I walked into the service area and was ignored for quite a long time. When someone finally spoke to me I told them my name and that I had a 2:30 appointment and he said "Blah Blah" (I don't remember the name) "has you, he is on the end." and then sent me to an empty station while he just sat there. I waited for a at least 5 minutes. All the while he did not seem like he was really doing anything.The other woman that was there just ignored me the whole time. At least she did appear to be doing something on her computer the whole time but for all I know she was playing solitaire. When my guy finally showed up he seemed like he was confused even though it appeared that he had worked there for quite some time. All this for an oil change. I gave you 2 stars because I liked your sales staff. I am really not impressed with your service staff. Very uncaring.

I initially started my car search a few months back online. Quality Chevrolet is the first dealership that reached out to me by text and a phone call from Erica. She suggested I make an appointment to test drive to save me time and money. When I arrived I was greeted as I was VIP and my sales person was Yadira. My experience was hassle free and enjoyable. After my purchase Yadira followed up with me to see if there were any concerns, I did not have any. Since then I have recommended my friends and family to Quality and Yadira. Quality Chevrolet is the BEST in the WEST!!

1h 30m after arriving for an oil change my phone asks how my visit was....I'm still here Granted there was a recall they discovered, but it's a simple flash. No word on how much longer yet. The lady was nice though, she brings the stars up from 1.

Update:
Once I got my pickup back I discovered my seat, steering wheel, and radio wasnt close to the setting when I delivered it. Additionally, I had lumber in the bed of the pickup that got wet when they washed the pickup. At no time was i informed of a car wash. That might be standard for some, but not where I am from.

As dealer service departments go, Quality Chevy is...

As dealer service departments go, Quality Chevy is pretty good. I'd actually say probably 3.5 stars. Anyhow, they do try to accommodate your needs, and give you deals in appropriate circumstances. Nonetheless, navigating the service experience isn't all that much fun, and they, like any service dept, will make mistakes at times (did with us once) and fix the wrong thing that didn't really address the stated issue. Since the other item technically needed attention (although priority was substantially lower, given they weren't addressing the actual issue the visit was for) we were stuck with extra repairs. Having said that, another time they worked really well with us in evaluating a couple problems, and they suggested that it may be an insurance issue, due to the nature of the repair (verment made itself at home in the engine bay!). It was insurance related, and they did a great job getting the car back to original shape. So, overall, a good department that has to be navigated with attention to detail and candid conversations, like any repair dept.

Updating for sales experience. Tried to buy a car from them, but they couldn't get the new one transferred I wanted, although the sales guy was quite nice, they weren't getting the job done. Then another sales guy pushed me off on the used one I was interested in,... seemingly so he could leave early???

Went to look at a used truck the day before my purchase. Christian came out to greet us. He was able and willing to answer all my questions. We had stopped at other dealers prior to stopping at Quality Chevrolet and all we got was the run-around. Christian mentioned some great incentives and that got me thinking about buying a new truck. Came in to look at the internet specials that had the lowest listed price I could find online. Mark M. was great and asked about the wants and needs of the new car we were interested in buying. He understood what we wanted and showed us every car we had interest in. At the end he suggested we slept on which car works best for us. There was no pressure. It felt like family advising family to consider the best car for us. I worked in finance for 20 years. The finance team was very transparent and very quick even with challenged credit. We expected a higher rate, and almost had issue to qualify for the incentives. Big thanks to management for pushing the finance incentives and getting the deal done at our pace with best terms. I would go out of my way to buy from this dealer and Mark on our next car.

I tried to buy a Chevy Silverado truck yesterday, after we got the deal & they check my credit score & spend more than 5 hrs there they come with their own numbers.
They tried to charge me more on the tax and they are so sneaky they try to charge me for paint protection coat which I told them I don't want but they insist I have to pay $1593 extra for it because they already put on.
This dealership are crock & deceiving and have a false advertising to get a customers in.

I came in and Danny Beltran started to help me out. We looked at a 2020 Trailboss. We had been to Bob stall and they didn't help me. JR the assistant manager came in and helped get the price. Jeff the assistant manager made it happen and we ended up driving away with the all new Silverado. I recommend all customers to ask For Danny Beltran. Thanks Quality for Quality service. They replaced my rack and pinion, aligned it, and also replace my radio, all covered by the extended warranty. No problem arguing with service department about getting any money from me. This is how you gain trust from dealership service. Other dealers are good on selling warranties but hard to get free repair when you need them. Other dealers also tellls you so many maintenance & repair that needs to get done on your car when you have a recall visit that are not really needed. They also wash my car after repair. Thanks Quality Chevrolet for the great job !

The leasing experience at Quality Chevrolet was amazingly fast and efficient. The whole thing took a little over two hours, and I was able to drive my new car home that same afternoon! My salesperson, Link Dixon, signed me up for the Costco Holiday Sales Program on the spot, which qualified me for a $700 Costco cash card, which I did not know about when I got to the dealership! Overall, no-hassle a great experience!

I wanted a new car for a good deal. I went to several dealerships promising they were the best in SD. I was texting Michael while I was at another dealership. When he beat all three other dealers. I was happy. When I showed the dealer my out the door price he told me " If that deal is real, I would send my daughter there." Good deal just became Great!.
Quality honored that deal. I didn't pay a penny more. They were friendly and helpful. I got the car i wanted down to the interior, same day. They set up OnStar for me and made sure i knew every feature of the car. The process wasn't time consuming.
I highly recommend this place. Go see MIchael Smydra!

It was overall a much more pleasant experience then I expected based on other dealership experiences. Bill, the service rep who was assigned to me was very attentive, although he was very busy. He didn't quite understand what I was needing to have done on my vehicle but was willing to listen and take the time to read the TSB I brought with me. Once the information was inputted into the service order the technicians did a great job in re-programming my RCDLR and relearning the key FOBs.

Overall, my visit to Quality Chevrolet was A good experience

The communication was poor. I had a flat tire and I brought the vehicle to the dealership for an oil change and a tire replacement. I purchased the tire from your dealership. I also had a warranty request. I had to make a separate appointment to have the seat looked at.
I had trouble with the parts department getting a receipt. It seemed like they did not know what they were doing. When I picked up the vehicle I was in a hurry and didn't notice that there was something on the rim. While it was resolved... It still took a second visit to the dealership and created some anxiety and frustration.

My boss drove in a couple of weeks ago with a new Volt he got from Lori Rios. I had just totaled my car and needed a new car. I was considering several cars and wasn't thinking of the Volt but a test drive with my boss and all the advantages made it a first choice. I called Lori and she was able to provide the same great deal my boss got. It was a pleasure to deal with her and Quality Chevrolet. Everything was taken care of and I picked up the car last Wednesday evening. I enjoy the Volt and really liked not having to negotiate or shop. Lori made it painless and easy. I never even drove to the dealership or saw my car till I picked it up!

They did not let me drive as their insurance does not cover if you do not have California driver's license, has no issues with other dealers like nissan and hyundai. Salesman was trying to oversell and was not being precise. He was keeping telling me what is not possible instead of what is possible.

Just bought a new Chevy Bolt EV from Quality Chevy this weekend. Process started Sunday morning and ended with a Bolt in my driveway by Sunday night, so they made it pretty easy. I started by chatting with someone on the Quality Chevy website to ask about the car I was interested in. Someone responded right away, even though it was almost 2 hours before they actually opened that day. The person I chatted with said he would talk to the Internet Manager. Once the dealer opened at 10am, an internet specialist Daniel Beltran texted and emailed me (I gave them permission to text me) and confirmed the pricing of the car I wanted. Later that day I drove to the dealer and Daniel completed the sales process for me in less than a half hour. We had to wait a bit longer after that because the Finance team was busy with other sales ahead of us (it was a Sunday, after all so I wasn't surprised). But they didn't try to hard sell us on a lot of unnecessary extras, although they do offer some options for protection etc that one might be interested in, so I don't hold it against them that they present them to you. But if you're not interested they don't continue to pressure you, which is nice. Overall Daniel made the process quite easy and other than the typical Finance paperwork, it didn't take very long before we were driving the car home. The waiting area is comfy with a TV, coffee, water bottles, etc so pretty painless overall. Would definitely recommend Daniel and Quality Chevrolet.

SERVICE DEPT REVIEW: It cost us $240 for them to run a diagnostic test to find out what's wrong with our car, only for them to tell us they're not sure. So they quoted us $4K to possibly fix the problem or $10K to for sure fix the problem. Not sure why I'm not giving them 1-star. I

When checking in to my 12:30 app on Wed., May 3, service advisor was nowhere to be found. Another advisor stepped up to the plate and completed my check in as my service advisor finally shows up. I was later called and notified at 3pm about my car issues by my service advisor, I agreed to replace my rotors and was told that my service would be done by 5 ish and that I would receive a phone call at that time to confirm that my vehicle was done. I never received that phone call! The next day, May 4, I still did not receive a phone call...I had to call (10:16am) and get an update on my vehicle from my advisor to which I was informed that she had called me at 5pm the previous day and had left a message on my phone that my vehicle was finished. I never received a phone cal nor a message as she stated but she insisted that she did call and did leave a message. In addition, when I requested for a shuttle driver to pick me up @10:20, I was told one would be on it's way. At 11:27am, service advisor calls back to notify me that the driver was on his way. At 12:10, I receive another call from shuttle driver that he was on his way and would be here in 10 min. Finally, after waiting for 2 hours, I get to the dealership at 12:35 to get my car. Service advisor apologized profusely and said she would give me a discount for the confusion. Once at the cashier, I go to find out the $35 discount I received was from a coupon I was going to use to get the $35 off! Very dissppointing and was not impressed! Will continue to go the Paradise Chevrolet in Temecula where your service advisor comes to you, in your car and writes you up, keeps you up to date throughout the day and provides prompt shuttle ride to and from.

I highly recommend @QualityChevrolet for your next car experience! I just purchased the 2018 Chevy Equonox & the experience was great! From the very beginning Oliver was very professional and listened to my wants & needs. He explained the entire process to me. Junior & Jeff were also wonderful & worked with me on payments and the cost. It took several hours but at the end it was well worth it. I did not feel pressured or that I had to settle. I got what I wanted & worked with an excellent team! Thank you to everyone @QualityChevrolet. I'll be back!

I just met with Link Dixon Internet Sales Manager ...

I just met with Link Dixon Internet Sales Manager who like a great sales person insisted that I come to the dealership personally and he even helped me over the phone with a Tahoe that we had been researching. I am very busy and didn't wanted to waste my time at the dealership unless they had the price and car I wanted which I thought I had found on their website. Link helped me with the numbers over the phone and the price was in my budget which is why I decided to come. When I arrived Link was busy but he met with us eventually. SURPRISE he never mentioned the price he had quoted us, accused me of calling him a liar, and continued to defend himself. If it was a misunderstanding and not a sad sales technique I can understand but his behavior was a demonstration or poor customer service and hope no one has goes through this disappointment.
