Quality Asset Recovery Review

I only clicked 1 star, because I just had to share my experience with this joke of a company.

Extremely unprofessional. While reviewing my credit report, I noticed a bill attached to this collection agency. After calling and speaking with Elizabeth Cortez (who was highly rude), I came to the conclusion that this was not something I authorized and decided I wanted to dispute it. When I asked Elizabeth what the next step was, she replied, with a teenage attitude, may I add, "What? it goes to the collection agency, what?". OK, excuse me for asking a question she should know...Due to the lack of professionalism, I ask to speak tot he supervisor, Ken Shapirro. What a gem he was... (That was sarcasm, for the ignorant workers at QAR reading this). Not only was he condescending and ignorant, in return of me giving him feedback of his immature employees, he too showed his true colors by over talking me, he was also throwing a fit like a 3 year old would. When I asked for the Owners name or the person above him, he laughed and stated "I don't know what rights you think you have, but you don't call me demanding things, and you wonder why we don't want to help you"...Yes, readers, this is a "professional" agency with the motto "Collect With Respect". Couldn't be more untrue. I will be following up with the BBB about this company.

Theyre trying to collect on a bill that isn't mine. The company who sold the bill to them is no longer in business. So, why would I pay for a bill thats not mine and won't go to the company who actually sent the bill. Eff these guys.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Start off being nice until you have a question or wonder why such poor reviews online, that's when everything changed. I dealt with a Lady named KIM WEST, very sweet and polite until I asked few questions like why such poor reviews then I got a completely different person. Very confrontational and was Yelling at me trying to bully me into payments and asking why I have questions and that's why I'm broke. Never dealt with anyone so rude and disrespectful.RECOMMEND ANYONE TO ASK QUESTIONS AND NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS. I just wanted to make sure my money was going to the right place and not scammers and was yelled at and eventually hung up on.

No customer service, not able to work with customers, really bad people to dealing with.

I called for information about an account and the customer service representative was so rude! I ask to speak to her supervisor and he was just as rude! they were absolutely no help and wouldn t give me any information. The only thing they kept telling me was they spoke to me YEARS ago about it and rudely hung up. I would have worked out a plan with them but I refuse to pay people like this any of my money. If I could rate them negative stars I would have.

Idk who they are but, the debt they are looking for is not mine.

Just checked my credit score and found 2 entries from this company in which I have recieved nothing in the mail or calls about. Amount is less than $100 and because of this my credit score is now damaged. I only was able to see I owed anything by going into my credit bureau.

Wish I could give a 0 or even negative star values review. This company is a joke. Refuse to work with you, and hang up on you too. Finally reached a manager and all he could say is "oh it looks like yall are lucky with this low amount of debt". Right, except all the charges, from the apartment the billing is from, are bogus. I will be writing the attorney general's office, the way this company handles things is dishonest and illegal.

This business claims to be a 24-hour service but you can't even get someone on the phone at 3:00 p.m. When you try to actually pay using their telephone automated system that doesn't work either and it hangs up on the phone on you . Really poor customer service through and through.

This company has placed my account on my credit report when my account was paid in full as soon as o got the letter from the original person. When they called I explained that it was paid and now they places it on my credit report like I never paid. Ima see a lawyer about this.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. POSTED SOMETHING ON MY CREDIT REPORT, WHERE NAME DOES NOT MATCH, EVEN THE DATE OF BIRTH DOES NOT MATCH . EVEN THE SOCIAL DOES NOT MATCH.

QAR is very helpful, professional and understanding, fixing insurance claims that can become frustrating.

Just another sleazy collection agency pretending to be your friend until you tell them the debt isn't owed.

They are rude and disrespectful. Harrassing me and my husband to the extreme. The company would rather put down you refused to pay them then take the 10 dollars a month you can afford. Every person they transfer you to yells at you and makes you feel less than. Some of the comments from them were...."well you work I don't see why you can't pay more" or "I don't care about your financial situation." I'm going to take the time to find out who to report them to. I really don't know how they sleep at night. Disgraceful.

Had no idea who keeps spam calling me with non working or unknown numbers until an 856 number showed up. I called it and the message stated it was this business. They don't leave messages and just keep calling and hanging up during work hours. Not a good way to run a reputable business. Have you watched John Oliver lately?

I spoke with a very professional representative. I had all of my information to show that the debt was invalid. All I had to do was fax over the information to QAR they look it over and decided that the debt was not credible. They were fast, efficient, and courteous. I wish all debt collectors would work as well as they did. Way to go Ken!

THE YOUNG LADY THAT WAITED ON ME WAS EXTREMELY POLITE AND DOWN TO BUSINESS. GAVE ME A DECENT BRAKE IN PRICE TO HELP ME GET THIS OFF MY CREDIT REPORT. WE TALKED FOR A LIL WHILE AND VERY FRIENDLY PLUS SOCIABLE AND VERY NICE.IF YOU APPROACH SOMEONE NICE THEY USUALLY DO THE SAME WHICH IS GOOD BUSINESS. MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY NICE BUT PROFESSIONALLY HANDLED AND THAT MADE IT GREAT SO I GIVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING.

Debt sucks... But this company is by far the best, most down to earth, professional company I have ever dealt with, I WISH ALL dept collectors were this nice and honest... Happy customer, they settled for a large % off my dept after making a few months of payments to them. All dept collectors suck but you re in luck if you end up with this company.

If you owe a debt there s no way around it, you gotta pay it.
However, I never heard of this debt until this recovery agency acquired it. Which seems to be a trend in the reviews.
The won t work with you to settle for a lesser amount.
& they charge a 5 dollar fee for a deletion letter that won t show up for another 7 days when most other companies can provide it during the same call or next day.
I ve felt with a lot of creditors but this company is the shadiest of all.

They are scammers trying to collect your money. Watch out!

They're crooks. They bought a list from another collection agency who went out of business for not reporting paid bills so they could swindle people out of their money. Quality Asset Recovery has called me 3 separate times trying to get $100 copay I paid over a year ago. When confronted the first woman Heather Dimarco I spoke to today cussed at me and hung up. When I called back immediately I got the director who refused to give me his name and proceeded to tell me it's only $100 and he'll just close out the account. I wonder how many people fall for this Scam and how much money they steal from hard working people . CROOKS CROOKS CROOKS!!!.

I used to work for q.a.r. and I'm reading alot of reviews.. this is a collection agency not a call center.. so therefore when you owe a debt there is a certain level of respect but at the same time there job is to collect on that debt.
