Ryan is upfront and personable. My issue was assessed and diagnosed without charge, and he helped me decide the best course of action. Very pleased that they work on MacBooks, and at a reasonable price. He quoted me, then had to do extra work including replacement of my display and other components, but stuck to his original quote. Not easy to find these days. At my clinic they were very helpful with my PC issues a while back, providing remote service. I've dealt with other Mac service providers in the area in the past, on the same computer, and was far more pleased with the professionalism and customer service at Nerds4Hire. Highly recommend.
Recently, my phone would always run out of charge very fast, and when I took it to other places, they wanted to charge me a lot just to change the battery. Not only that, but they also told me that I had to wait a minimum of three hours just to change a battery. I took it to Nerds4Hire and not only did they get it done in less than an hour, but they also did it at a reasonable price. I went to Nerds 4 Hire Inc., thinking that my phone's' battery needed to be replaced. Ryan identified the problem, and saved me money telling me that I my phone needed to be charged. I also broke my SIM card pin, but he did not charge for it. I am glad that there are still honest people like Ryan. Wanted to comment on the exceptional service I had at Nerds 4 Hire. I was helped by Ryan who gave me great advice on both my android and apple products while repairing my laptop. He really took the time to talk to me about the issue, where as other places have charged me just to diagnose some things they were not even able to repair. Brought in my wife's iPad in to Ryan (on Markham Main Street) for a screen replacement about 4 months ago. Was ready when he said it would be, and has been working perfectly ever since. Today I brought in my iPhone because it wasn't charging. Ryan removed some lint obstructing the charging port. No charge. Will definitely go back to see Ryan for any future repairs.

Recently went to see Ryan about an issue with my Samsung phone. Really impressed with the timely service I received. He went out of his way to have the phone looked at quickly as I couldn t be without it. Ultimately he determined the main board was fried and it wouldn t be worth fixing. It s not often that you find someone as knowledgeable, personable and honest as Ryan at the end of the day, he just really wants to solve your problem. Quick response and good old fashioned honesty. Contacted these guys to see what they would charge to unlock my cell phone and they pleasantly surprised me by telling me to call my service provider as they would do it for FREE ! I had called elsewhere before calling Nerds4Hire and that place was set to charge me $31.95. Hats off to Nerds 4 Hire ! I would definitely call these guys again.

Ryan did great, i had to do a reinstallation of windows since i accidentally deleted myself as admin on my computer which prevented me from reinstalling windows myself. So he did it for me for a fair price of $75 (no taxes). I highly recommend nerds 4 hire for your technological troubles. I used to go to a different guy, but then he closed down. Recently my iphone 4S fell into a cup of orange juice and it was almost two hours before I noticed what had happened. Needless to say the juice did some damage, wasn't turning on and the power button was completely stuck and sticky, I thought it was ruined! I made one of those thoughtless mistakes and thought that I was downloading a Java update, but it was a virus. I had important information saved on the computer and called up Nerds 4 Hire. I had a phone which was bent and had a bad battery which would die within 1 hour. I took the phone into 5 different stores trying to fix it. The only answers I got was you rather get a new phone or it will cost a lot . I heard about Nerds4Hire from a friend and when I took it in Ryan said he would able to fix the phone and it would take only 30 minutes. After I came back to pick it up any he gave my phone back to my I was surprise to see my phone like brand new. Not even that but he also found another problem and fix it for me.
