Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Reviews

Firstly, let me say that the museum is gorgeous, amazing and something I think all sports fans in Alabama should see. The collection of memorabilia for each inductee is just incredible. With that said, the "service" - or lack thereof - leaves something to be desire.
No. 1, the majority (almost all) of the interactive exhibits either didn't work or weren't turned on. Then, as I went to the gift shop before I was going to leave I wanted to buy a couple of books the lone person working in the museum was nowhere to be found. I stood and waited for 20 minutes and then started looking around and still couldn't find him, so I just left. As I was leaving I noticed him through the glass of the entrance sitting on his phone in an office.
I understand COVID has messed everything up and I did go on a random Wednesday at 11:30 and was the only person in there, but at the same time you would think maybe they would want to help out any customers or try to sell something. The three stars is solely for how beautiful the museum is and all the insane memorabilia. Im gonna return at some point after COVID and hopefully the service will be better and the interactive exhibits will work.

Amazing! We had a great time. Very well displayed and each was very informative and detailed.

Went there for a banquet dinner, and the place was lovely. I enjoyed how organized it was and how neat the layout was.

A wonderful museum filled with tons of sports memorabilia. It is well worth the time and money.

Affordable and a fun time. It is a good way to learn about the awesome history of Alabama and also the successful people who have made their athletic career or hail from Alabama.

Cool place to visit. Didn't know there were so many sports figures with links to Alabama.

Lots to see. Somewhat overwhelming. Easy to navigate, probably best to start at the top.

There's a lot of history in one place related to Alabama! You will need a day to go through everything and you won't be disappointed that you did.

I dont know why but it was not super interesting. But the old guy who sold me the ticket was super friendly.

This was a great trip through memory lane. Wheelchair accessible. Has lots of great photo opportunities. There is Alabama's your bus in the museum which is neat because not many places can say that they have that. Was not crowded and was reasonably priced. All together a great experience. You can record a karaoke song for $10 had the time of my life with my family recording it. Staff is also very friendly!!

An amazing journey through the legendary and often hidden sports personalities who were part of our great state. This museum is beautiful and well worth a trip for sports fans and non sports fans alike.

Yankee visiting for a conference. Found many greats that I did not know where Alabama natives. Thankful that it was all sports and not a tomb to Alabama football. Definitely worth you time. Donations appreciated.

This place is great there is so much history here!! Great for sports fans. And they only have people who are affiliated with Alabama in some way

Took my students their for a Marketing Project. They worked so well with us. The people are great and the facility is very informative. If you love sports or history, you will love it.

TCNP is a really beautiful area. Alot of people go into making the area beautiful, fun, and educational. Great place for hiking or on those hot summer days going and cooling off with a refreshing dip in the water. The area is home to a couple of endangered species of wildlife so enjoy responsibly but keep conservation in mind.Only con is that it lacks alot of funding. Private philanthropist and fund raisers help with offsetting cost but could definitely use federal funds. If your ever in the area, stop at the main gate and ask how you can help to keep Turkey Creek going and continue to be the beautiful gem it truly is
