I would actually give zero stars !

I would actually give zero stars !
We booked a table for 5:30 and some of the other guest came a bit later.
I do understand that there is a time limit for the table and it s normal to come and remind the guests of it.
But there is a way how you can approach something like that, there is no need to come to us and talk to your guest like they are unwelcome.
A normal approach would be : hello, just a little reminder that we would need the table back at 7:30. If you want a starter or a dessert it would be better to order now.
And not tell us we can t have a dessert it would be impossible, only to come back later to tell us we could have a dessert. Pathetic.
After that we got a place upstairs where the bar is, we good literally kicked out because apparently "a other group wanted to sit there" ( we probably didn t buy enough drinks for their taste ), just a reminder they said it s not reserved but yet we were asked to leave ( funny that no one sat there when we left ) ?!?
What type of service is this ?!?
Very disrespectful and Rude.
I m so disappointed , I was really looking forward to try out this restaurant because I only heard positive feedback.

Super food and very good cocktails, BUT THE MUSIC IS A BIT LOUD IF YOU ARE SAT NEAR THE STAGE AND THEY NEVER STOP. Music was a bit cheesy too, but it had the drunken table of ladies of a certain age giggling and bobbing about as they tried to flirt with other tables. That was funny to watch I guess.

The only problem was the waiting between courses , after the starter ,the waiting was 1 hour , then another 45 min wait for the desert apart from this we enjoyed the night the bar staff was excellent which is always good . Would we come back ?? There is a lot of competition in Mayfair now ..

Beautiful period restaurant. We went on an opentable deal and the food was absolutely amazing. Service was lovely, attentive but not overly so. Very friendly serving staff happy to have a chat and explained the menu patiently.

My friends and I came here for her 30th Birthday d...

My friends and I came here for her 30th Birthday dinner, there was 7 of us and although the food was nice absolutely not worth the price for the truly horrendous service. We had booking at 7pm( we were 15 mins late due to traffic) and were so rushed out. Every ten minutes we were reminded by people they needed the table for 9pm as every table was only allowed 2 hours on saturday...not true several tables were there before us and were there after we were rushed out. We could only order mains as apparently 2 hours is not enough time for you to have anymore than a main course so be warned if you were wanting a 3 course dinner. When I complained the staff said there was a table at the bar for us...there wasn't we were only told that so we would move. Then as we were paying the waitor quite rudely asked why we were paying under the bill and not for his service...he obviously wasn't very good at maths as we were actually being polite paying service and a bit extra- not sure why we did! If you really are wanting a special evening don't waste your money here there's much better restaurants in the area at the similar price range! Really upsetting as it completely ruined my friends birthday. Giving it a two star because of the service- shame the chef is wasted there as my steak was lovely!

Hard pass from me.

Hard pass from me.
Reception staff was immediately frustrated as we were 7 mins late. She almost made the birthday girl cry.
Coat check girl was unable to catch up with our coats. Not her fault.
Place is charming but you can see ridiculous little details that don't match the vibe.
Plastic window for the cheese?!
Toilets were really average, broken seats, seen better toilets in Nandos.
Our table was really good and allowed us to sit comfortably.
The venue was very noisy. Music until 9 pm couldn't be heard and we were sitting very close to it.
Staff rushes you a lot as this is part of their job. Still the girl named Diana was super sweet.
Food was average. Had the cotswolds chicken breast. Its okay. Not for that price. Just okay.

My friends got 3 others, all with screw caps and all nasty. The shabli, the malbec, the sauvignon blanc all had a very sharp ,vinegary taste.
My friend said the beef tartare was great. It came with a toast that has been prepared in December. We asked the waitress for a replacement, she exchanged it rather unwillingly but that's okay.
The hamhock was not that special but all loved the parfait starter so highly recommended.
Had some dried scallops.
Plenty of helpful staff.
Once we finished dinner, we were told there's a bar area. That was all saved for a private event. So you had to stand up awkwardly ,waiting forever for a drink, while staff is trying to manoeuvre around you.
Funniest thing,so they're not okay with my friends celebration ballons and sashes which is fine as we didn't care that much. Yet they allow so many underdressed people, never seen that many ripped jeans and tacky mini skirts at one place. So what is that place? Revolutions bar meets Wetherspoons but in a pretentious way.
Hardcore pass from me. Nothing blew my mind,in fact I came open minded and I was just disappointed.

I think most reviews are left by people who enjoy being catered by many people at the same time, but people who are used to it,should know that a good staff is almost invisible. It felt so intense like we are playing dodgeball. You can't go to the restroom without bumping on at least 6 people.
Or the reviews are left by people whose ego is tickled by the history and reputation of the venue. The same people who would tag themselves and take selfies all night .

Went to see Mica Paris last night except I could not because between us and her was one fat pillar and one serving bar. The food was ok but very rushed because a set menu, but what an idiot for being charged for the event, when if i had sat at the bar I could have seen it properly and heard it properly for free - had the joy of being under subwoofers so sounded bad too ((( Left early and to be honest wish we had just sat in reception where mica sounded great. If this was a theatre they would tell you "restricted view" - the door staff didn't handle the complaint well - wont be rushing back.

Fabulous evening spent at Quaglino's for our work Christmas party. Really helpful on the run up to the event and everything went smoothly on the night. Staff and waiters were extremely friendly and helpful, especially our waiter Liam - you were great! And the food and cocktails were delicious. Great live band, excellent DJ and overall exceptional venue in London! Will be back for sure, thank you guys!

On a Saturday night it s really lively with great jazz band- turns into a club/dancfloor vibe. The food is ok- wasn t great for vegetarians and definitely overpriced, but it is in the heart of Mayfair. Overall, great setting and fun for a special occasion or big night out

i wish i could review the venue but the pre-service led me to cancel. when i booked the table (max size 8) i checked for when the set menu was available and set my booking accordingly. then a week beforehand i get an automatic 'reminder' email telling me there's no set menu... news to me!
i checked their site and all the set menu conditions had changed.
when i replied asking that they honour it they ignored me!
low customer respect is definitely something to avoid even in the plushest of venues.

We hired a private room for 14 which was a great experience and something I would recommend for groups.

It was so nice to enjoy the live music yet be able to have our dinner in a private space where we could enjoy each others company and hear each other clearly! It may have been quite noisy downstairs if we were seated right by the live musicians so this was the best of both!

Great

Christmas party at Quaglino s!
I will start by saying that Quaglino s is still on top .I have been here before and I was really impressed.I will give a little negative feeling on the reception team,as they look a little bit unhappy to deal with use ,but bar team are so professional and friendly. And on top of everything is Roxy.Which she served me before. This lady is putting all her heart on this job.She is funny ,professional and extremely friendly. We had a table plan ,but we all moved ,giving her things to deal with use.But she was smiling and told use. No worry nothing is impossible.I will find a way.Plus Santa is watching me. And she did it.The food was amazing! Thank you Quaglino s!

First time visit, staff were amazing, our waiter (Ricard?) was fabulous - discreet, knowledgable, friendly. Entertainment was terrific as was the food, glamorous setting, I cannot fault any of it, and hope to return again.

Was a little disappointed! Food good but took nearly two hours to come out, which made us rush as we had to be somewhere else later. The service was terrible, staff not around so you couldn t get a drink, staff didn t communicate with you hardly said a word unusual for restaurants that include the service charge, maybe that s why! Such a shame as entertainment and atmosphere was good.

I was looking fwd to going to this restuarant on my current trip to London, made reservations weeks in advance but was disappointed, the decor and setting is decent but not as glamorous like their Insta pics, also the place was relatively empty for a Friday night. The cocktails and dishes were also average or atleast the ones I had were.

Now that I have fully recovered after an epic weekend celebrating my brothers 40th Birthday at Quaglino's i would like to say how amazing this place is, we cannot thank Maris enough for her hospitality.
We all had a wonderful time the food was amazing the drinks were flowing the cake was simply delicious and the live entertainment just made it a perfect evening

We will definitely be recommending this venue to all our friends and to experience it all again myself and my husband will be dining again in the near future.

A night never to forget....

Thanks so much for a fabulous evening.

Thanks so much for a fabulous evening.
Excellent service, and a great atmosphere.
From the lovely personable welcome to the kind attentiveness of the waiting staff, we felt well looked after.
The food was lovely, (my 11 year old son had his first taste of oysters and loved it), and even though there was a little blip with one of the dishes, the problem was resolved quickly and without any fuss.
The atmosphere was warm and fun, lots of people having a really good time.
The band and DJ were great!
Good song choices, just the right volume for dinner and little dance.
I will definitely recommend Quaglino's to friends and family.
Thanks again.

The food was nice, the atmosphere was not the best. We visited on a Saturday night and it seemed that it was just a conveyor belt of customers. Many tables were in and out within about 1.5 hours. We overheard one of the members of staff telling a party near us that they could only order mains and would not be able to order starters or dessert as they needed the table for another group. I thought this was rather odd and rude as surely their money is as good as anyone else's? The same table were visited repeatedly by another waiter who seemed to be trying to get them to rush. This culminated in one of the members shouting at the waiters (we thought rightfully so) to leave them alone to enjoy their evening. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant as I think the way they treated people around was shocking.

Went for Sunday lunch as part of the Soul Sunday series, it was absolutely amazing. Food was really good, bottomless bubbles or wine all for a really reasonable price. The live music was exceptional and the overall atmosphere was better than I could have imagined it would be. Highly recommended.

Had a shocking experience on Saturday at the bottomless brunch, had a chicken supreme for main and it was served to me raw, in fact so raw it may as well walked it s self to my table, I then got a replacement one that tasted like it was frozen, cooked and then reheated just before service(2 others in the party didn t even eat there s due to this taste as well), and to top it all of I had a cheese board for dessert only for it to turn up infront of me covered in walnuts, baring in mind the waiter asked if there were any allergies and I clearly stated that I was allergic to nuts before ordering

Arrived at 10pm on a Thursday evening with an opentable reservation, no one at reception, eventually got a coat into cloakroom but no meet or greet. Wandered downstairs & a suspicious waiter seated us. (Fab) band stopped playing before (tiny, 2 whole scallops) starter arrived before wine arrived. Apart from that, everything good, but large bill demands great service which was lacking to start with.

Experience let down by rude waiting staff. They interrupted our conversation (moments after bringing a new round of drinks) to tell us they want the table back. This was while one of our party was still finishing their dessert. We had to wait for our table so hadn t taken an unreasonable amount of time. This could have been requested in a much friendlier way but that clearly wasn t a consideration.

When I booked over the phone I was told the table ...

When I booked over the phone I was told the table was booked for 6:45 and we will have the choice of the set menu and the normal menu. On the day I was told the table was actually booked for 6:30 and there will be no set menu.

I was abit late getting to the restaurant and was greeted with a attitude, my guests even mentioned that the staff kept complaining and remarks about how I was abit late.

We was seated in between the kitchen and the stand where staff put food orders on the iPad. Because of this there was to much constant movement around us, servers running back and forth behind us with food getting us worried that food may actually fall on top of us, work staff processing orders on the stand swearing and shouting at each other. It was really awkward.

The food was ok very small and under seasoned for the price.

My friend asked to order dessert from the waiter who seem very impatient and we was completely ignored.
So because of this my friends brought out my birthday cake and sang for me, while we was just about to cut the cake the waiter come over and says he will "allow us" to quickly eat the cake but we have to leave.

So we just packed up and left the table.

One star for the views and decor and the other star for the live music.

But ultimately will never go to this place again. AVOID.

Food was very good but not exceptional. Prices are a bit steep but probably comparable to other places in the area. Service however was completely first rate, staff were friendly, helpful and really could not have done more. Music needs some work.

Summary: food mostly good but sparse in the beef department, live music was nice and wine glassed filled frequently, but we felt very rushed.

It's disappointing that the potential of the food and music atmosphere was let down by stingy portions of meat and being rushed through the meal.

Long version: we went for the Sunday lunch set menu and free flowing wine. The beef and sauce tasted excellent together, and the beef cut easily as it was tender and well cooked. Half the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the chocolate pudding was gooey, indulgent, and delicious. The free flowing wine we paid for was truly free flowing and we pretty much never had an empty glass.
However, I was disappointed with the amount of beef and I definitely could have done with another slice. Half of the potatoes were a little hard and not as tasty - I'm really not after pot luck potatoes.
During the meal we felt very rushed. The staff were attentive in that they cleared our plates (literally as soon as I put my knife and fork down the waiter just swooped in which was quite a surprise!) and they did their job, but they always seemed focused on something else and rushing around whilst doing it, and not giving time for us to ask for anything else etc. It lacked geniune customer focus and care.

Had a great Soul Sunday lunch. First time back after lockdown and was as excellent as always. Sensible and reassuring Covid measures which didn't detract at all from the first class food, service, and live entertainment. Highly recommended.

I went there on Friday night with my clients for dinner. The food was nice, Service of the Restauran was good. But not sure about the staff at the cloakroom. I had a booking for 20:30. I arrived with clients at 20:20. Went to cloth room More

Place is a joke! As soon as we arrived three different people told us we only had two hours at our table before we would have to leave. The waiter rushed us from the moment we sat down - clearing plates without asking and asking for our starter, main and desert within 10 minutes. Overall it was a very uncomfortable dinner due to the waiter - he really shouldn t be working there. Luckily I had booked through AMEX platinum services and they had sat us right at the front next to that stage. Unfortunately the show was absolutely terrible - the singers did not smile once and looked utterly miserable on stage - they were there on the 7th December - they really shouldn t bother if that s the best they can do. Luckily having been there I have managed to tell others about how awful
It is here and have reverted a number of people now. Don t waste your money, time or patience going here

Amazing bar restaurant. The staff is very very "aux petits soins" and they looked after us from the first minute to the end. The bartenders on the ground floor were energetic and polite, very professional too. I had the 2courses meal: main and dessert. The spinach were awfully salty,so we returned it to the kitchen. Replaced. The meal was ok (I had sea bream + spinach on the side +chocolat fondant with vanilla ice cream). This dessert was the greatest fondant ever!
I will go back, for a drink only and to enjoy live bands.

A number of years since I last visited this wonderful restaurant which has not lost any of its charm and still manages some glamour! Great attentive and friendly service from Reka, Diego and Forbio.

Quaglino's is a beautiful venue and would probably be a great place for a date. The bar overlooks the rest of the tables, so drinks there are a nice way to settle into the evening before dining. Once at the table, the service could have been better - we were left waiting and had to resort to waving our hands around to get the staff's attention. We were there for a birthday meal and discovered that if you bring your own cake, there is a charge for eating it at the table which seemed a bit ridiculous. Nice food, but not out-of-this-world.

We were very well looked after by Roxy at Quaglinos, it was a lovely experience with very tasty food and we would definitely recommend, as long as you don't mind the quite loud and dark atmosphere, which we enjoyed.
