Polite but not very competent service, had to go back to the reception as the room key didn't work. In the middle of the afternoon some man from the staff just entered the room and was surprised that it is occupied. Food was OK, but nothing to write home about. Conference facilities were OK. Room wasn't very clean, water pressure at the shower barely allowed to wash myself. Nice atmosphere at the bar and the lounge, the bartenders very slow though.

We booked online, our 3 night stay, 4 months in advance and paid up front. When we arrived Chesford Grange did not have a room reserved for us.They did find us alternative accommodation. We were so disappointed as we were looking forward to using the spa and pool. We will not be visiting here again.

- Restaurant and bar booked for parties both days and they didn't tell any guests so we had to leave to get food.

- key card failed to work 4 times in the space of 2 days.

- room was so hot it was uncomfortable, you either couldn't sleep because it was to hot or couldn't sleep because the air conditioning unit was so loud.

- breakfast was disgusting the food was either over cooked or not cooked at all.

- the staff where no where to be found at anytime of the day?

- nowhere to charge phones in hotel room because it was obviously designed in the 1800's.

It saddens me that this is a 4 star hotel, this place is very old and seems set in its way, so if you don't want a good sleep or any help when needed and either disgusting food or no food this is the place for you.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. If you have a "double bed", it's fake. You will fall in between them as it seems the 2 beds are on rolls. The electricity access is not up to date as there are only plugs above the desk and not the bed. Great breakfast with very helpful and nice staff. The bar is expensive, but also good for a few pints.

The hotel it self was lovely and the grounds are beautiful, but we went for a "spa day" which was not worth the amount we paid for it at all. Calling it a spa is very misleading, in reality it is a small pool in the basement with a steam room, two "heated loungers", one of which didn't work at all and the other one was like lying on hot coals- unbarable. There was maintenance or something being done next to the steam room, so there was no possibility to relax with the constant banging. We also got told we could book treatments on the day and get 20% off, but when enquiring at reception they were unavailable and extortionately expensive for what they were anyway. Absolutely NOT good value for money. Try Stratford manor or The Warwickshire if you want a proper spa day.

We stayed as a group on coach trip. Everyone there was very polite and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were good although has trouble with the heater. The food was ok. Breakfast was excellent. Everything you could wish for. Because we stayed as a group we had different evening menu and although we had several choices sometimes it wasn't up to scratch! Also quite small meals, ii.e one potato cut in half. Porridge when asked for was a disaster! Luke warm and not cooked! Don't think would stay again, although the staff made up for any faults there.

The venue was nice, but the bar was very expensive, though I suppose that could be expected from a hotel. When I asked the waiters about the wine they were serving all they knew was "it's French wine". The dessert was tasty and nicely presented but the soup and main course were lacklustre, the main: chicken in a taragon jus, being reminiscent of a school roast dinner. Given the friendliness if the staff and appearance of the hotel however, I'd give it a 3/5.

Main house of the hotel lovely rest of hotel resembles a dormatory, well disappointed after our recent stay at Crew hall.
Breakfast well I can only say more like a visit to a cattle market. We choose Q hotels as our plan is to visit all 26 out of all we have visited so far Chesford grange is by far the worst and will not be visiting again EVER when we go to Warwick again it will be The Stratford without doubt.

Nice hotel. Could do with a jacuzzi in the spa. Restaurant extremely busy but staff did will to cope on the whole. Coffee machine a nightmare as it kept breaking down and causing long queues at breakfast. Staff did will to bring individual coffees but we're under a lot of pressure

This hotel is picturesque! Beautiful to look at! Had a work conference here for 2 days. The amenities are great and the food not to bad, lunch was a little underwhelming but otherwise ok. My main issue was with the room although it was a nice room it had a wierd door to the next room which made me feel uneasy also my colleague ended up in much more modern and superior room. It's a very large hotel took ages to walk around. Otherwise a nice place.

Spotlessly clean rooms and old world charm. Generous portions at a Sunday carvery also very welcome. Let the kids run round in the grounds of what looks like a stately home. They'll love it.

This is a 4 star hotel. We stayed in a king bedroom. The bed was comfortable, but the room was not as clean as we expected. Wall, lamp shades and radiator were full of dust. The room air-conditioning was not working. We experienced a dinner service in the hotel's restaurant that was very disappointing. Our meal were tasty and nicely presented however it was let down by a very long waiting time. Simple dinner took almost 3 hours! The restaurant staff was not attentive at all.

Great confrence room. One large room or can be split up into smaller rooms. Rigging points in the roof for overhead lighting or projection.
High rampage power on the floor to run distros for production lighting and sound.

Had our work Xmas party here yesterday (15th December) and superb venue. DJ top notch and great evening all around.
Room was very clean and comfortable, only "grumble" was there were no face flannels or a toilet brush.
Small grumbles which didn't deter from the entire experience.

You could mistakenly think you was abroad due to the high amount of foreign staff

When interacting with the staff I never felt like my needs were that important to them

Reception and entrance Hall needs modernizing and brightening up. Menu needs looking at for a variety of food to eat, even if you stay there you still have to book for evening meal. Really good all you can eat breakfast makes up for it though.

A friend of mine came to visit and we went to use the spa facilities and gym and then had a drink and something to eat in the bar. It's lovely at the chesford Grange and I know I will be back sometime soon. Well worth a visit and great place to stay.

Large hotel part of Qhotels group. The hotel does special deals of 2 or 3 night's dinner bed and breakfast. The hotel is used a lot for corporate and business functions the bar can get quite busy and noisy at around 7pm. Breakfast self service evening meal waiter service good choice and excellent meals. It has a Spa and pool. Ideal base for visiting Kenilworth or Warwick Castles also Coventry cathedral and Transport museum. It is also well positioned for quite a few National Trust properties.

A very cozy hotel worthy of it's 4* rating. You're less than 10 mins away from Leamington Spa which is a well kept town. The hotel rooms are comfortable and the staff very pleasant. Food is available from a small, but adequate menu offering all the usual crowd pleasers. There's also an indoor pool, gym and spa facilities to make your stay that more pleasant.

Room was clean and very comfortable however as we checked in our room had already been allocated to someone else. No problem these things happen so another room sorted. Not until I came back to reception did anyone tell me where the restaurant was, where breakfast was served where the bar was or where the health suit was situated. I asked if there was a cash machine anywhere? I was told yes turn right out of the hotel about half hour down the rd is this walking? Driving? Is it in a bank? Shop? Petrol station? No instruction! We were staying for one of the biggest shows in Warwickshire the Your horse live show. I knew the hotel was reasonable close so enquired as a rough idea of how close. Reception staff didn t know of the show or distance it s A very well known event in this area. I said that s fine we ll google map it. Finally as we checked out 2 days later they'd added someone else bar bill to my room. (I don t even drink pints)!!! Overall a nice room but very under trained staff that didn t greet with a good morning or hello when you passed reception and were not educated with events in the area. Probably wouldn t stay again

I spent three nights here, it was like a ghost hotel. Rarely saw any staff. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 nothing was open, pool, spa etc. However the TV had a good selection of channels and the breakfasts were excellent.

Warm, professional welcome and calm atmosphere with a bit of a buzz!
We enjoyed delicious sandwiches in the bar and our favourite, mocha! All served promptly and well presented. Lounge chairs were comfortable and as we sat the bar started to fill up with people all chatting. We are considering a stay before the end of the year.

Rooms a bit dim. Need a light in the ceiling. Also no plugs near the bed which really frustrates me with hotels.

However place was clean and tidy, breakfast was really good bar menu a bit lacking and a 4 quid tray charge is a bit much. I would rather give that as a tip.

On the whole good place, friendly staff and tidy breakfast.

Just spent the last two days attending the TPAS conference. Couldn't ask for anything more. The rooms, food, and facilities were brilliant. Look forward to attend the conference there again next year.

I've worked here a few times on conference AV. The staff are all lovely and very helpful! The room I stayed in last had no Aircon and was boiling, but the staff put a fan in there for me while I was working after I'd mentioned it. Nice food!
