I attended a works Christmas dinner here in the Shakespeare suite. It was like trying to find your way through a maze to get to the room. The meal was average with a small selection of veg on the plate's and no serving dishes with more vegetables. The room lacked a festive feel as there was just a Christmas tree and nothing else in the room.

It's very good and homely however there are some things that are quite annoying that are easy to fix, firstly the fact the room always seems slightly cold due to a draft coming from the old windows which causes the heating to cut out so it never reaches the temperature it should. Secondly the plugs are behind the bed on the edges which is good as you can't see them but bad if you have anything chunky to plug in like a phone charger so you have to move the bed slightly. Lastly you even though it is a 2 person room you only get luxuries for one person such as shampoo and towels and stuff which is disappointing. Overall though it is a lovely hotel in a perfect location, if the little fixes for the problems above are put in then it would be a five star rating. Also the beds are to die for.

So relaxing! This is the first Q hotel I visited and it was well worth the return. Lots of choice for breakfast and beautiful evening meals...and wine! Service was great in all areas and my friend and I will definitely be back.

Very clean, and lovely rooms. great shower and bath, fantastic atmosphere. great restaurant, and area, very beautiful, very nice room temperature with air conditioning, lovely views, very comfy mattress, bed and duvet. Fantastic helpful and flexible and friendly staff.loved them. so kind and nice, the guy in the restaurant, the receptionist, everyone, all very good people. things I didn't like: the pillows! really thin and not comfy. this is such a shame in such a good hotel. I called and asked for thicker pillow, the receptionist herself brought two more but both of them were the same as the thin ones in the room. not happy and had a bad night sleep. the second thing is the tastiness of restaurant food. not tasty! the sea bass I ordered was very pricy but the taste was not good at all. so I am a bit unhappy about it. if it was grilled and a bit bigger, it was better but it tasted so watery and awful. generally I liked my stay though.

The restaurant was extremely cold on one evening of our two night stay. Also the shower, though good in terms of pressure, occasionally became scalding hot. For an otherwise average hotel, these down-points would put me off repeat custom.

Having visited this hotel for 35 years (even got married here) This will be my final visit and have checked out early. We fully understand change due to guidelines but 30 Min to use pool and facilities? However our reason for leaving was the food, the quality is poor as is the cooking. Even the restaurant manager was embarrassed at my breakfast.
Gutted !

Does what it says on the label. Staff friendly and know what they're doing. Coffee at the bar 4/5, pool very useful, well located and easy to find. Bed a bit hard and parking close to the door a bit limited.

Good conference facilities. Spacious events facilities. Parking plenty. Food average (although option to order poached eggs at breakfast is good, veggie sausages poor!). Didn't try spa facilities but they're there. Room ok, but pillows POOR, so ask for better ones...I had 2 nights of poor sleep, unusual for me). Price reasonable.

We had an overnight stay which was really good and very safe. Our dog friendly room worked well and was comfortable. All the food at dinner was tasty and well presented, service was excellent. The scrambled eggs at breakfast is the best I've had in a long time. We wish all the team good luck for the future.

Very nice atmosphere here. Staff always very helpful; rooms are clean and comfortable. Basic hotel buffet breakfast. Have eaten there in the evening a couple of times and it was quite good

on the first night of our stay the overpriced pub meal of meat pie poisoned me which put a damper on the weekend.

the staff at times didn't know the most basic of information, the duty manager didn't know when breakfast was and I was asked to come back later.

asking for a white bread sandwich I was presented with brown bread with the server assuring me that it was white

OK breakfast and rather friendly staff appart from hiccup at the bar... Dinner is an absolute disaster. Do not dine there no matter how desperate. Better order takeaway delivered. Rooms are ok but tired and outdated. 1 star due to dinner and overpriced for what we got as a room (we got package with the castle - lovely photos on website but rooms probably from the main/more posh side - rest of the rooms do not reflect those :-/ so price was again disaster)... location nowhere near castle but have to say convinient to move around the area if you come by car. I will not stay there again :-(

Reasonably priced hotel with good amenities.

Reasonably priced hotel with good amenities.

Food was good although the service was a little slow. To be fair they did have a function on at the time.

Rooms were clean and well sized and the grounds and building are well presented.

Parking was a bit limited also, but that was probably due to the function.

Had pressed blade of beef which was lovely!

The hotel is classy. Big chain hotel with all the trimmings. Rooms are nice with bath and shower. Aircon too. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good. The beer however was not really that good. They only had on ale on draught Purity Ubu... which was served very cold. This totally spoiled the beer unfortunately. Staff were very friendly and enjoyed a bit of banter with you.

Went for a Spa half day with daughters as a birthday treat to Chesford Grange nr Kenilworth. Fabulous day. Plenty of free parking, lovely hotel, friendly staff. Well equipped gym, smallish but very nice pool with heated loungers and steam room. Food was superb. Can highly recommend and will go back again.

I am a london Cabbie, and dropped off near the Chesford Grange after picking up from Heathrow . There was a rapid charger at the hotel, so I went along to use it .. Although the hotel was closed the owner or manager was very kind and let me use it. In fact he was so generous he came out and gave me a cup of coffee and biscuits while I waited to charge my taxi .... when I m next in the area , I will repay him by staying at this hotel and buy him a pint .... thank you sir

Attended conference last night. The staff serving drinks and the food courses to the tables were absolutely fantastic, helpful, fast, polite and helpful, cannot compliment them enough. The rooms we used were lovely, fresh and tasteful. Had a lovely evening. Lady on reception at 2200 last night was extremely helpful and lovely

Excellent venue for meetings and events ideally located outside Leamington Spa and Kenilworth. Easy to reach from A46 and bedrooms for overnight guests. Ample parking spaces with two separate areas for conference guests and hotel overnight guests. Big and spacious restaurant facilities with friendly and professional staff attending to all the guests needs. Stratford upon Avon and Coventry within driving distance for days out.

Upon arrival was greeted with a complementary drink. After this I was treated to a delightful 3 course meal the highlight of which was the chocolate pudding. Drinks at the bar were quite pricy however being provided a drinks token helped offset this. The photographer was very professional also. One member of the bar staff did appear very disdainful of his enviroment although I cannot speculate on why. Overall I enjoyed myself and would go to another event hosted here.

It was a gorgeous hotel reset refurbished and the spa facilities great but disappointed they didn't have a Jacuzzi but all in all the pool and steam room and hot beds made up a fantastic day!

Like the grounds absolutely beautiful. Not so great at the reception desk. Room service not great, did not answer their phone at all. Unfortunately would not stay again. Room nothing special. Two people staying but only one towel. Had to keep asking for extra one. Room really hot and the AC not working well. Bathroom was dirty and had problems with the plug. Toilet seat really wobbly. For what we paid not impressed at all.

I had a bit of trouble staying here for a conference. I got very ill (as did some others so not sure if it was the food as we had eaten what was served by the hotel at the conference) - I was so ill I actually had an ambulance out.
Once I began to recover I needed to eat something. I am vegan so asked at the bar if they had a vegan option. The bar man checked with the chef who assured me twice that the pasta dish on the menu was vegan. I then ordered room service and double checked again that the food was vegan and was assured it was. When it came it was fresh egg pasta covered in cheese. To their credit I sent it back and was refunded for the meal and ordered just chips as this was the only option for me. The conference room was good and the rooms were clean and large which was good as I had to spend a lot of time in my room. I was not checked on be any member of staff nor any mention when I checked out even though they knew I had been ill. Slightly impersonal service. The 3* is for the cleanliness of the room and was a good basic service but no personal extras and dire knowledge of dietary requirements (although my veganism is a choice, if I had allergies it could have been worse... and these are trained chefs! It's not hard!!).

Stayed here 1 night on business. Great proximity to motorways and easy to find with lot's of signage. Plenty of meeting rooms which are very roomy, comfortably seating 18 people. Brought us delicious food at seperate intervals. Only problem was my room 411 had a really unusual rusty smell but other than that no quibbles and if I was in this location I'd consider returning.

Popped in for something to eat. Staff were very helpful, and altogether a great customer service delivery, food was top notch to boot! Definitely recommend Chesford Grange if you like the finer things in life.

The venue has a conference centre attached, which is relatively easy to get to from the local roads, the rooms were very comfortable and the service was exceptional. Every request our conference party had was exceeded and the staff went above and beyond.

Large comfortable room, extremely pleasant and efficient staff ; excellent food; perfect place for a restful few days, spent mostly sitting on the terrace overlooking the charming grounds.

Pleasant location. I stayed in a cosy little room as part of a conference. Not very upmarket but just in keeping with the price. Good mattress to sleep at night and the room is clean. So I am happy.

Deluxe rooms very tired and poor. Paid for upgrade on arrival. Bathroom lovely but large very wide bath height side to get in and out of shower not for people with dexterity problems or even abled bodied come to that. Food good but please note everythingnis added extra
