These people are so helpful. I get my anthracite coal and my Lyric premium bird seed. Lots of other things in the store.

Yesterday, 20 June 2016 Lawes was contracted to replace the furnace. Lawes has been servicing this house for over 30 years. So I was shocked at what I discovered the two installers had left behind when they left the property. A flooded basement! The two Lawes employees attempted to mop up the water but apparently decided to leave it to me to clean. I was home the entire time and not once did they attempt to contact me about the flooded room. Outrageous! These are people I trusted, let into my home and this is what I get in return?! It just goes to show, you have to be a contractor's shadow when they're in your home or on your property. It's a shame, Lawes is an established business in this area you would think there would be a better scrunity of employees by the management instead of putting that burden on the homeowner. Lesson learned.

i am VERY disappointed that my biannual generator srv that I pay extra for wasn't done resulting in a dark home during a storm when I was 2hrs away n my wife was home aline in the dark
the failure was due to a bad battery that would have been replaced had srv been on time as contracted

Yep, months ago. Really, REALLY BUSY! So, my neighbor helps cut the wind fall from last Spring. We stack it in my home build trailer and go 1000 yards to his place. Last trip ends there when the 1964 rubber in the big tractor tires cracked up. Looked on line for the time and cost for new. OUCH! ... Lawes comes up as a local dealer and I visited. They do not have them but they call a couple of their national suppliers. They did this while I was with them. What I learned is my on line source was much less than half of they cost and free shipping. I was told, "Go get them fast!" They helped me get the scoop to act quickly to solve my need. I got good help! This review is in response to a reminder of my visit; it is my way to thank Lawes. You know I will look for a chance to take other business there, maybe even yours.

Had them do a sweep or underground tanks at a new home. They were on time, professional, and fast.

As a realtor in the area for 30 years, I use them all the time for oil records, oil sweeps, pulling tanks. You name and it I have used Lawes - I deal constantly with the office in the environmental dept and I could not ask for friendlier more helpful people.

Don, one of the brothers, is not professional, lacks integrity, and retracts promises that he makes.

I used them for 2 years without incident. This year I contacted them to negotiate a price and I found them to be overpriced by 40-50 cents gallon against other like competitors. Even worse was their attitudes, which I found to be unfriendly at best. They were quick to argue and lecture. Their service contract is also about double the cost of their competitors. Use someone else.

Great place to go for farming supply's, helpfully and friendly staff.

Called to check on available sizes and pricing for animal feed and the woman who answered was rude and dismissive, said she wouldn't give me prices on the phone or check availability...that's the way to win over a new customer

Have had all good experience with Lawes through the years. Gwen, in accounting, and Steve, service, have always been professional and very helpful. The repair folks do a great job and I've been very happy with response times. Kudos.

Very accommodating and responsive whenever I have issues with my equipment, regardless of how busy they might be. My "go to" company for service.

We recently had an issue with our furnace and called Lawes. They were responsive, professional and fixed the problem quickly for a reasonable price. We would highly recommend them if you are looking for an HVAC contractor. It nice to have a local business that does a great job.

My hot water heater broke. I called Lawes. They repair man arrived within a couple of hours. He was very professional. He fixed it right away at a fair price.

Our air conditioning stopped working at our place of business (it was hot) and we called the Lawes Company. They sent someone the very next day, they also called to confirm they were coming and completed the job that day for a reasonable price. The gentleman was professional, pleasant and efficient. I would definitely recommend them!
