I was on the fence about purchasing some software ...

I was on the fence about purchasing some software so I sent an email with several questions. They were extremely prompt in the response letting me know that my concern was moved over to technical support. Not only did I get an answer to my question the next business day, the customer service rep who initially received my request, sent me a follow-up to make sure that my question was addressed. I am extremely happy with the customer service that was provided.

This is a scam site - please beware.

I purchased Bitdefender, received an email (purchmarketplace) that did not include an activation code. I responded to the email and the address they provided and got an error message that the address did not exist.

I have been trying to get in contact with Purch since I made the purchase on 12/30/15. I've never received a call back, email response. Given I purchased a one year licence for the software - you decide if this is a legitimate business when three months into the site license I still cannot activate it.

Buyer beware. (Don't be influenced by the single star rating - cannot give 0 stars and make the post.)

sold me virus software that did not work and will not refund me for Bitdefender and HP had to fix my computer over the phone from India and installed the proper software. I had 136 virus on my computer and Bitdefender said I had none.

I have been battling an everslowing computer since...

I have been battling an everslowing computer since installing a product sold through purch marketplace 4 months ago. They can only suggest the support site of the product. I tried that with no success. I just want to uninstall and get a refund. The response was that Purch Marketplace only provides refunds for the first month.

My advice is that unless you are absolutely sure you want a particular product, do not buy from them.

A great shopping experience. Ordered PowerDirector video editing software. Received clear download instructions which worked first time. Discovered I had bought the wrong version of the software. Purch Marketplace couldn't have been more helpful, agreed to refund the cost of my original purchase against the cost of the correct version and even price matched against a competitor's offer. Once again the download worked first time. A company I will use again.

Great service and support. I lost my code for my program that I purchased when my computer crashed. I notified purch marketplace and they promptly sent me a replacement code. Very happy with their fast response time and their friendly service. I will recommend purch market place to all my friends.

Tried to buy a software download. They took my money on PayPal but made no effort to make the software available. Tried to contact them twice on the telephone. The first time I received a "mailbox full" message. The second time, I received a message asking me to leave my phone number. Not possible to talk to a human being. Currently in the dispute phase with PayPal. Very disappointed.

I returned an item to Purch Marketplace and was really pleasantly surprised at the personal service and care they provided. They took the product back, issued a refund and left me wanting to order from them regularly.

You can tell more about a company in the way they deal with problems than you can from just a purchase.

These guys are great (shout out to Tanya at customer service).

Accepted my money and then I could not download the software. Took me over half an hour and then still nothing. Called the company and they close right at 5:00 with no after hours support. Now going online to buy from someone else. Terrible site and customer service. Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

After having my TV cable bill double, I decided to cancel it. I did some research on antennas and not only did the antenna I ended up buying but Purch Marketplace also came up with high marks. Their communication, shipping and customer support is top notch. I actually get more channels with the antenna I bought than I did with the sub-basic cable from Time Warner!

I recently purchased the Net Nanny software program from this company, at a $10 reduced cost from the regular price, and unfortunately it did not work well with our computer or do what we needed it to do. I was told at first that I could not receive a refund, so I tried my best to "make it work." But we started having more problems, and I had no choice but to uninstall it. Customer Service was wonderful about following up with me, and when I explained about not being able to use the software at all - I was offered a full refund for the product. I was very pleasd with their service.

I recently purchase antivirus - internet security software from Purch and I was having difficulty getting the download. I emailed Customer Service and received a quick response with exactly what I needed. The next day I received a follow up email to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction or if I needed additional assistance. I was impressed to say the least. Not only were they responsive - they had excellent proactive follow up. I'll use them again - and will highly recommend them.

OK, after a long process that we don't understand, Purch Marketplace has only just now got an e-mail that I sent to them on the 13th of March !!? crazy.
But, I have spoken to Sandra now and they are looking into things.

Sandra was very understanding and apologized for the delay though she doesn't understand why. I am just glad they have got my first e-mail. Though as I explained there are more coming.

Its great to finally be in contact with them because I have apart from this episode, found Purch Marketplace to be a great place to purchase things from and their service has normally been Excellent!

Product downloaded not as described. Download version constantly stopped working. Would not refund purchase price, only offered exchange for no product I wanted. I thought they were the software manufacture but they appear to be a distributor.

Following several emails Purch Marketplace stepped up and offered a full credit for the software. They have shown that American business does care about their customers after all. How about 4.5 stars for customer service

I purchased Bitdefender Anti-Virus 2016 software for an old desktop running Vista and Internet Explorer 9.0, which is the highest IE version you can run on a Vista platform. I could not properly activate the software. Purchase Marketplace was very helpful, but had to turn the issue over to Bitdefender technical support who treated me badly. Two solution recommendations they made very quickly failed. I explained my situation to the folks at Purchase Marketplace, and within two days they refunded my money, and though they did nothing wrong, actually apologized for Bitdefender's poor customer service response! Wow!

I sent a email to their customer care dept and dealt with a rep called Nicole who was extremely helpful .After a couple of emails in the space of a short while Nicole told me I would have afull refund in 3-5 days. That's what I call a great service.

Entered my credit card twice only to have it rejected. Tried a different card - rejected. Went to my accounts and saw that the transactions went through. That's when I started reading reviews and saw others had the same problem.What a scam! I gave them 2 stars (rather than one) because I tried calling to no avail, but on the third time, someone picked up and I explained what happened and the issue was resolved (I think). The woman was very nice and she claimed it was their own anti-fraud system - highly unlikely, but I have to say, Purch can be assured there is no fraud from me anymore because there is no way I would ever try buying from them again.

Purchased software online that was not compatible with google and other virus software. They have refused to acknowledge or reply to any of my emails concerning this, I would advice caution with dealing with this company very poor customer service that will not respond.

Their customer service (during business hours) is fantastic and quick. USPS failed to deliver a package and they quickly re-issued a replacement via UPS. I have no complaints (other than USPS for losing the original package!).

I am skimming through their e-mails and it looks like all the one star reviews sound like very dumb people. One person wrote that the software they purchased "was not compatible with Google and other anti-virus software." That sentence gives me a headache as a computer programmer with how little sense it makes. If you're reading reviews to figure out if they're trustworthy, they are, they have great customer service during business hours, you can even use Amazon Payments so they never get your billing info. No complaints.

Needed the software same day so I paid for a download. Well attempted to activate the software with a "key code" nope they provided me with a serial number, no key code. Referred me to IT, I'm told they do this all of the time and good luck getting my money back. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!

I'm also referring this matter to the Attorney General's office, as well as my local online fraud department.

This is a fantastic place to buy items from. I ordered a program from them, and when I ordered it I didn't realize that I had ordered the download version of the program I wanted. I contacted customer service right away after I noticed my mistake and the person there that I got told me she would check to see if the hard copy was available and would get it switched. She did find the hard copy and corrected my order so it was what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased with how nice she was, how fast she fixed the problem and just over all a very nice person. They also were the cheapest on price for the program I was looking for so for all the above reasons they got a 5 star rating. I will be back when I need other things due to the outstanding service and price.

I need PaintShop and didn't realize I was buying it from this company Purch until it was to late! I bought the downloadable version, because I needed it right then. As I'm going through the download to finish it I needed the serial number, which is NO WHERE to be found. I emailed them asking for it. Someone emailed back asking for an order number, which I sent them back right away. They did not respond until after 12:00p the next day with the serial number. I called 3 times that morning to only get voicemail. I finally emailed again saying refund me, I had to buy it from PaintShop directly, because I needed it hours ago. Later that day they started emailing me saying they would not refund me. I again explained the situation to which she said we sent you the serial number and attached the email that came 18hrs after I needed the software. I have also called left a message with no return call. They have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and DO NOT BUY A DOWNLOAD IF YOU NEED IT RIGHT AWAY. Why wasn't the serial number available right away like any other company I have ever bought downloadable software from? Seems like a crooked operation! BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a WD external hard drive. It turned out that the unit was "out of warranty." Accordingly, Purch customer service quickly and helpfully sent another unit out to me. Unfortunately, that unit was out of warranty as well.
Rather than attempt a third shipping of this unit to me, Purch agreed to refund the amount to my credit card. They did not require me to return the two units they had sent out.
Unfortunate that the units sent had expired warranties. That said, Purch's customer service was 100% helpful, kind, and prompt (both their email contacts with me and over the phone.)

Several emails (including responding to an email thanking me for my business!) have been ignored.
It does indeed seem that once you have paid for a product "customer service" disappears.

I was so impressed with this company and their customer service!! After I downloaded the software, I had some questions, and clicked on the first link I saw. I submitted my questions (total of 3) and waited. Almost instantly I received a response, very nicely pointing out my questions were better suited for the software company and not the distributor. I was provided a link to get the proper support and I considered my interaction with Purch Marketplace done. NOT SO! A couple of days later I received a follow-up email asking if the software company had been able to assist me! I call that "above and beyond" customer service!
