PRUDENT FINANCIAL Review

A tad intimidating given my credit history and my own experience dealing with Prudent Financial repeatedly, but in the end achieve my objective.

These guys are scam artists. Modern day loan sharks. They will give anyone with a car or house a loan at 40% interest. And will not explain to a client what they are getting themselves into. Having them on your credit bureau will distroy your credit, no matter what they tell you. Anyone working there should be ashamed of themselves. They prey on anyone who doesn't know better. Scam artists.

Prudent is a family business that strives to make u feel part of the family. They are fair fast and efficient always trying to get u the best deal. Gary and Jonah are all about the client. We have had many loans through the years and it s nice to know we always have their help when we need it. Keep up the great work guys.

I recommend Prudent Financial Services to family and friends; Prudent has really come through for me on some very short timelines.
The reason I was able to buy my beautiful dream home is because Prudent lent me the $20,000 I needed for my down payment while I listed and sold my previous home. (My bank of 25+ years would not do this).

Great Customer Service from Naomi, however the company is behind in technology. They required me to come in to process everything when I was able to do everything with another provider in under a few hours and money in my email by uploading documents and signing electronically.

They say they help all credits, but deny you if you don't have good enough credit, I recommend every find another company to work with.

Naomi Iqbal was the loans officer for my wife and I and we found her to be both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Behind her was an entire team dedicated to helping us repair our damaged credit rating. In the past, my wife and I have dealt with four of the five big banks and we feel that their customer service falls well below the standard set by Prudent Financial.

I've been a client of Prudent for many years and I can say without a doubt they are the best. They really go above and beyond to assist you. Jill, Naomi and Farrukh are absolutely amazing people and really do their best in assisting you the best way they can. I would definitely recommend Prudent to my friends and family.

I had an issue. The insurance company I was with decided to end the policy without cause. I then spoke with John DiFalco as I needed insurance for the car as it is part of my business. Thinking that it was impossible to get insurance fast enough that would be in my budget, it was John who saved my bacon! He found a great insurance solution within an hour and two hours later I was insured. That's what I call customer service! Thanks John!

Prudent financial is a great company for a fast loan , efficiency, advice that comes along with reasonable fees on a loan. I was in a situation of paying out some cash that did not affect the principal of the loan so I went in to Prudent and meet with a great financial service advisor Deborah Mcgee who has taken her time and patience to work with me going every step on how it would work she also brought in Gerry who went over a couple of different things that I can do. I can honestly say that they are not out to set you in the wrong direction. For I was advice to seek out my bank first and if things do not work out to come back and see them . Ask yourself which loan company would send away business . So working with prudent and Deborah on my situation work out fine for me I was happy my dealt was paid off and I left with 4G plus in my pocket. Deborah keep smiling you make your coustomers very happy it was a great pleasure meeting and working with you.

My name is Joseph James puddicombe I used prudent financial for a small loan.Everything was great until I missed a payment September 20th.Prudent financial charged me 760 dollars in the matter of 2 1/2 weeks and I was forced to pay it all before they would take my truck.Prudent financial said they put a gps unit in my truck they even took my truck out back of there business for 20 minutes saying I can't see where they put the gps locator but yet still charged me bailiff fees Whitch were 475 dollars when they could've taken my truck.so there were collection fees and nsf fees and bailiff fees plus my payment Whitch added up to 934 dollars in the matter of 2 1/2weeks these guys are crooks it's almost like I didn't pay any of my loan it's like starting from the beginning all because I missed a payment nobody trust them they are worse then any lender out there and they won't even give me information on how it accumulated to that price in the 2 1/2 weeks they are crooks people please stay away there is way better loan places out there

Gary , Jordan , Zack and his "loan officers " team are all crooks who make you sign for collarerlas illegally without your knowledge . Read all the fine print cause they won't tell you the truth !!! They are a disgusting , money hungry , cocky , rude and criminal organization who take advantage of people who are in some bad circumstances and blind fold them into some criminal contract .
They won't hesitate to repossess your car if you're late 1 day with your payment . I don't know how they stay in business but I'd rather starve to death than go ask those criminals for a penny !!!

Worst service ever! Called about a loan I was offered before at $2000, now the story has changed and can only be offered $500 even though I have a great history with them. Jill couldn't even recall our previous conversation and starts lecturing on how I need to handle my debt and finances then says I can't help you and hangs up. Just some advice guys, a little more professionalism could go a long way and customers don't need to be belittled by the likes of your company. I used to have a good opinion of this company in the past, but not after this experience. Terrible service.

Prudent financial is a very professional company. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. You never feel pressure before them and they always think for you from your side. I have been with them for more than 2 years for my vehicle loan. Even sometimes when you have financial hardship, the company's collection officers like Zakaria Afzal and Jordan are very professional and helpful and courteous. This is an amazing company with clean office surroundings and warm atmosphere. You always feel you are welcomed in a group of experts. I strongly recommend this company.

Had a car loan with them because I needed a car to get to and from work, so they saddled me with a huge monthly payment. Even though my payment history has been excellent for over 3 years, they still treat me like a common criminal when I've obtained a loan from them (even though I've always paid my loans and never missed a payment). Gary and his cast of characters wouldn't know customer service if it bit them in the behind. I don't wonder why they have the employee turnover that they do. Just listen to how Gary and staff talk to each other. If you need a loan, you are better off getting it from a loan shark.

The staff is simply amazing. They treat you like a fellow human being and not a customer. They are also very considerate of your situation and cater the loan to your need. I will recommend this place to anyone that is going through a rough time and in need of some help. If you do get to meet a loan officer by the name of Andrea, rest assured. You are in good hands. She will go above and beyond to help out your situation.

These guys are scam artists. Especially Jill and her Husband Garry they prey on anyone who doesn't know better. Scam artists. Guys stay away from them

Got a loan with prudent a year ago, taking out a lien on my vehicle. speaking to Jill on the phone I was told of the great rates they offered and explicitly made sure I asked whether there were any additional admin fees and such. was told that there was not - so I made my way over to their sheppard office with all documents in hand. This is when they showed me that while I was approved for the loan at the rate quoted to me on the phone I'd have to pay the equivalent cost of interest in admin charges.

They pretty much gave me a loan 2K loan I'd have to pay back 2.56k; my credit history is bad and I'm not complaining about the rate as I'd expect to pay a similar amount at a different place anyways but they could have been more upfront about the actual costs. But if they put a lien against your vehicle make sure you don't miss any payments - these guys will jump at the first opportunity to take your car off you for 1/4 it's cost.

I turned to Prudent Financial Services a few times over the past few years, and I'm happy to give them a two thumbs up -- or five stars. :) Deborah, Zak, Naomi, and Gary all treated me with respect and dignity, despite my circumstances at the time, and I would definitely recommend them to others. There was one guy at the beginning who was not on board with their hospitality and understanding, and he occasionally gave me grief, but he's been gone for a long time so I can easily give five stars now. They pride themselves on trying to help people with bad credit when banks and other places won't help.
But then send an email "Thank you for your loan application, however based on your current debt situation, and without collateral, unfortunately we are unable to assist you at this time."
So kind of contradicts what they're trying to do. Not a happy customer. Thanks for the "help"

Even though they've been paid off through collections 4 years ago it still shows unpaid on my credit report. I think it's time to take legal action because they did not follow through as promised.

I don't generally write reviews but after having my third loan with Prudent Financial it's time to share my overall experience. From the time you walk through the front door you're greeted with a warm welcome not only from the front desk staff but from the company president who actually leaves his office to give you a personal welcome. Beyond that, Deborah McGee, my loans officer, is the primary reason I feel comfortable going to Prudent than a bank. She's a professional and well-versed in the business. She knows how to calm nerves and make the entire process seem effortless. Thanks Deborah for helping me out over the years!

This is THE best place to get loans if the big banks don t approve you. Deborah McGee is my account rep and she is absolutely amazing! My situation was complicated and Deborah made it a breeze to go through the entire process and get the loan that I wanted. She is absolutely wonderful and extremely professional. She knows what she s doing. I contact her time and time again for inquiries and advice and she responds promptly and with care. Prudent Financial is the best place to get a loan. Period.

I ve got mixed feelings about Prudent Financial, as signing a loan with them is like making a deal with the devil. To simplify my review I ll break my experience into strengths and weaknesses.

Strengths:

- Competitive interest rate for my then credit worthiness
- Transparent fees (for the most part, they add in a bunch of administrative fees and do some creative accounting however they were transparent about it)
- Quick and Available Cash

Weaknesses:

- Absolutely awful customer service, already down because I needed to get a loan from here they definitely didn t create a welcoming environment for the loan
- Disrespectful and baggering phone calls. ( I had a few insurance hiccups here and there and prior to anything being canceled Prudent was calling me off the hook making threats etc )

Prudent was able to serve a purpose for when I needed them. They were expensive however fair. Their customer service is terrible so if you re expecting a hand hold during this process or someone to console you through your hard times this is not the company for you. For the best results, educate yourself on your credit worthiness and take only what you can afford to pay back. Pay them back, I cannot stress this enough they will happily repossess your vehicle. (I heard them threatening other people on the phone when I signed my loan)

Called over the phone and was transfer for more information about loans and I was very upset with unprofessional manager that was takI got out her anger on me... the lady was very aggressive over the phone and was very rude I had to hang up the phone because if I listened to this lady anymore she would ruined the rest of my day I wish I could give ZERO stars I actually hate this company and would not recommend anyone. They do not know how to speak to another human being properly I hope you company the worst and will never recommend to my worst enemy.

I took 6 small loans with Prudent Financial between 2007-2011 within that time period I paid them all in full with (0) balances...I checked my credit report and noticed a couple of the loans status shows (open)...I called Prudent Financial to have this issue taken care off and was put on hold by the operator for 5 mins...then transferred to one (John Doe) when I mentioned the loans I paid all in full and I noticed the Status showed (Open)...he put me on hold for 1/2 hr. (Red Flag)... when (John Doe) returned he said it looks like I own interest fees on 2 of the accounts one amt.$42.00 and the other $235.00...I was like how is that possible...this is ridiculous...I paid off all the accounts in full and how is it one can owe interest on "CLOSED ACCOUNTS"?...to make it worse...I was the one that called in after several years to find out why my account(s) status showing (Open) on my credit report...I was pissed and he put me on to a collection agency for them to collect the interest on 2 closed accounts...This company is not very honest with their clients...I will not recommend my friends or family to Prudent Financial...Be very careful when considering taking a loan with them...make sure they don't scam you and once you've paid them in full... be sure you get a release letter and certificate emailed or mailed to you...showing that you don't owe them and the account(s) closed with the status showing just that with the date.

This is a great company to deal with. Unlike other companies their interest rate is very close to a bank's rate and a lot easier to deal with than most banks. Naomi is a pleasure to deal with.

I have dealt with Sanjay Boodhoo. He is very pushy and tried to sign me up without giving me the right advice.
He wants to just make his commission and leave the clients stranded.
I also called the office to ask how to make a complaint and they hang up the phone on me.

Absolutely brutal organization to deal with. Gary and Jill are probably the worst people I have ever had to deal with, ever - zero customer service skills, rude, treat 'customers' as an annoyance. The rest of the staff work in fear of them and can't do anything without running anything by them. Stay far away from this unscrupulous place.

I've been using this company for year's and through thick and thin they've been good to me especially John Di Falco from Insurance Quality Control has been amazing and kind. I will recommend this company to anyone.

Their support chat on their page made had much stronger detail attentive representives than their actual loan officers were. Completely disappointed and dissatisfied. Complete waste of my time. A simple no from the very start would have been greater than getting my hopes up, making me feeling like I have a chance at getting a loan and then shutting me down after getting my backstory.

Prudent Financial is a great company for fast loans. I wasn't asked many questions and fees were reasonable. I needed a same day loan to finish my basement and they were reasonable. Andrea and Gary worked with my situation and within one hour I was out with $11,000. I paid the loan in full within less than 10 months and I was not penalized for not taking the loan out to the full 24 months we initially agreed on. Once they received my final payment they seized all payments from my bank account immediately and wrote me an outstanding letter about payment history. I didn't take more money but I was able to increase the loan at any time during the term. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely take a loan again if I were ever in a bind. Higher rates but better than the bank in terms of getting the money you need with no questions asked. Thank you Prudent! You saved me!! I highly recommend.

Too bad there is not half a star. All the surface talk is very appeasing for the average person that comes along that has bad credit. Their fees are at par with anything a credit card company will give you. I offered to pay off my loan early hoping that maybe it would entitle me to some kind of a discounted amount. They asked for more money than it would cost to just keep doing my payments so that they can earn their interest. It took five tries to even get them to give me a proposal for a consolidated payout. Every time I called they promised to have the information sent by the end of day and it never happened until weeks of me following up. These guys are nothing more than glorified loan sharks and I would NEVER be a repeat customer. I went in asking for only 3-4 thousand and they refused saying that they don't do amounts for that low cause they can't make money off of it so they came back with the amount of $8000. I had no choice at the time since i was backed into a corner so i took it. Worst mistake ever. Just please who ever comes across and has no choice be very cognizant of the fine print and read between the lines when they try to pitch you.

I was in somewhat of a financial crises and was advised to go to Prudent Financial. After giving it a great deal of thought and being warned of these kinds of these kind of company's I decided to go ahead and get a loan secured on my vehicle. My first impressions were good and at the the time all seemed to be positive, I was even sold new insurance from John DiFalco because he said I was paying to much, and he said he could get me a cheaper quote through his broker the "Hub" Well I left prudent that day feeling warm and fuzzy knowing things weren't going to be so bad for me and my children after all, I should have gone to a loan shark! The first month after I had gotten the loan from Prudent Financial they reposed my vehicle my payment had gone nsf I had no mobile phone so they couldn't get hold of me, they didn't bother to contact the second person on the loan I was left stranded with out a vehicle at my place of business, and because I had no vehicle I lost the job and was out of pocket 700 bucks.
Last week I made my payment in person, and paid $360.00 to Unica insurance. John DiFalco decided that because I have been delinquent paying my insurance in the past he was going to have my vehicle repossessed for being late again paying my insurance on my vehicle. He then went on to make racially orianted slurs to my friend who was trying to explain the situation. This is not a company you want to do business with all I'm doing is trying to do is keep my head above water.
And petty little mommas boys are doing there best to ruining FAMILYS. By sucking every last dime out of your pocket. And taking away the only means of transportation you have.

I joined Prudent Financial very recently and couldn t be happier. Farrukh M. was very professional and knowledgeable. If anyone needs financial help these are this is the company too see.

Here is a warning to anybody out there that is looking to rebuild your credit or looking for a loan. DO NOT go to this place. They are thrives and they do not care about re-establishing your credit or helping you out financially. They only care about making profit and do not care about customer service. I went there in the past to get a loan to help rebuild my credit and to pay for an unexpected expense. I was looking for a short term loan. I only took a loan out for about $1500. I made payments for about 4 months as they were pre-authorized payments from my bank account. My bank account was cleaned dry as I was a victim of theft. The bank put a hold on my account as I opened up a new one. In the process my payroll deposit was bounced from my account as it was not set up into my new one yet. I had informed prudent financial that the payment that they were trying to get out of my account would bounce because, there was no funds in there as I was defrauded of all my money. I informed them that within two weeks I would have two payments for them as my payroll deposit would be set up in my new account. They told me in a very threatening way if they did not get their money to them the same day, they were going to have to take further action. Later in the middle of the night a tow truck came to my house and repossessed my car. They then told me in order to get my car back I would have to pay back $800 towing fee and storage fee as well as the full amount of $1500 and a bunch of other fees therefore it would cost me $4800 to get my vehicle back. I was unable to afford another vehicle so I got the money from another well-known financial institution that was willing to help. They probably figured that I wouldn t be able to come up with the money to retrieve my car. So anybody out there that buys a prudent financial car just know that you are buying a car that they stole off of somebody. They just go about it in a legal way. These people do not have a heart and do not understand that sometimes things happen beyond a person s control. They are crooks and have no idea how to deal with people. Shame on everybody that works there. Gary, not sure how you live with yourself knowing that you give people false hopes when it comes to rebuilding their credit or helping them out when they re in need. Then you go and rip it all away from them for things that are sometimes beyond their control. You do not have a heart. I m a firm believer in karma and one day Karma will catch up to you. It always does in the end. If these are the values that you live by and that your business runs on, I m surprised your business has not shut down yet. However, there are always gullible, desperate people that will eat up every word you say because they believe in you. It s unfortunate you and the rest of the staff there take advantage of those type of people. I also want to add there are a lot of fake reviews on here that depict prudent financial as a wonderful and helpful place. Don t fall for those reviews because they are clearly added by either friends or family members that work at this location. Anybody that needs to add fake reviews to make themselves look good is the first sign that this company is a very dishonest and untrustful place to conduct business with.

I have been dealing with prudent for the last 10 years. They are great company to deal with. Jordan has been a great help to me and has always been there to answer any questions without any hesitation. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs any financial advice.
