Given the historic low rates presently available, we wanted to refinance and set ourselves up with more financial security. Many lenders were advertising the same low rates but none of them actually delivered in their quotes, despite our excellent credit scores.

Prospect was unique in having actual rates that aligned with the marketed rates and blew the competition out of the water on that.

Tiago Maia was friendly and easy to work with and answered my many, many question throughout the process. I would recommend working with Tiago to my own friends and family.

They come across professional and expedient until they leave you high and dry because they never locked in your rate. On top of that they have all of your personal information and will potentially cost you the appraisal fee, which is never returned ($500.00). Steer clear of this company!

I recently worked with Dustin Beermann while buying my first home. I couldn't have asked for a better loan officer! He was very prompt and clear in all of his communications and did an excellent job setting the expectations for the timing of all of the (what seemed a like million) moving parts/pieces throughout the process.

It's been a month almost a month that I applied for a refi for my home. I have been cooperating with all documents. I even refered this company to a friend for good refi rates but don't be fooled, they take more than
3 weeks to get back to you with an answer whether you are approved or not . Please save yourself from headaches and disappointment. I have been refinancing almost every year and this is the worst company to work with

This is my second time working with Dustin on refinance. He was very helpful throughout the entire process. He was responsive and available to answer questions thoroughly, even on weekends. He worked with the title company to make sure the final signing was at a convenient time for me despite my limited availability.

Overall, I was thrilled by the speed and pleased with the results. I never had to wait more than 24hrs to hear back from anyone (even with the insane workload they must've had). They answered all my questions and concerns when I asked them. My one frustration was that since this was my first refinance, I didn't really know WHAT questions to ask or what to specifically expect at closing...felt a little blind-sided by final numbers. From my understanding, this isn't uncommon at other firms and had I asked the right questions, I have every confidence I'd have been less surprised at closing.

Taina Armiche is a knowledgeable and very responsive loan officer and I would gladly work with her again. We just refinanced our single-family home and it was done quickly and well. She helped us match our information with the lender's requirements, which were not always easy to interpret. She always provided thorough answers to our questions.

Please watch out for a scammer named Gary Williams, a nigerian scam artist claiming to want to loan you money, he approves anyone, just wants you to send him $185 to insure the loan process...and of course, it doesn't come off the loan...you must send that first. Using this name Prospect Financial Group Inc, with this address....Heads Up!!!!

Prospect did what most of the mortgage companies that I contacted could not do which was to proivde a low rate for a jumbo loan. They were professsonal and provided many options to meet my need and they kept their word.

I would like to thank Benjamin Gulder, Senior Loan Officer with Prospect financial for his Outstanding customer service. Benjamin was there to guide me step by step with my refi. Bianca was very helpful and responsive from the get go. I had given up on re-financing with my current lender, Caliber Home Loans, since they dragged their feet for 4 months and their customer service was terrible. A number of things stood out. I was cold called by the CEO of the company. The entire application process was automated. Bianca always answered my questions within 24 hours if not sooner. Their rates were VERY competitive. The rate I received was .75% lower then Caliber had offered. Bianca was truthful with me every step of the way. I would highly recommend working with her!

I inquired with several lenders over a few months about refinancing but I wasn't quite ready to make the decision. Prospect was the only company who regularly followed up so when the time was right I knew who really wanted my business so I went with them. The process was seamless. Dwight Wells did an exceptional job of keeping me informed and he answered all of my questions, no matter how trivial, same day. I would refer Prospect to anyone looking.

I started a simple refinance in April. Although I have a great credit score and a load of equity in my home, they could not close on the refinance. Months of poor communication and promises of closing, all for nothing! I just wanted a little cash and a better rate than I had. Due to the terrible service, I am out $500 for an appraisal and at the end of the day I was not able to help my son out with his wedding expenses in the way I wanted to. Even after hearing me out and seeming to understand, Justin Vondrak was not able to do anything, except drag me along while rates went up! If I could I would post the emails and lack of communication right here! They have an answering service and rarely if ever answer the phone.I am pretty sure that they have lost their funding sources or something. I have no Idea why the work on this loan was not finished...almost 90 days! Ridiculous. I am $500 poorer and much wiser.

I would not go with this mortgage broker as they had offered me a great rate with low closing costs initially, but towards the end they raised the closing costs by an additional $5K. When asked what happened, it took the loan process quite a while to respond back and realized it was her fault because she pressed the wrong button, and the lender refused to give her an exception. I submitted all my necessary paperwork to apply for the loan, and the mortgage loan processor would sometimes ask for documents multiple times, not realizing I already submitted it. This person was clearly disorganized. When I sent questions, it would take days for this person to respond back. I ended up not refinancing with them because of the last minute $5K and lack of professionalism with the loan processor. I highly suggest going elsewhere when looking to refinance.

I was dealing with Caitlin Malony one of the loan officers. And I am pleased to recommend her to anyone. She is very professional and response to your questions and inquiries in a timely fashion. And if got a good rate and refinanced to 15 year term.

I have had the pleasure to work with Nate Wells at PFG on two occasions. First time was the initial refinance of my primary residence in 2012. The interest rate that was offered could not be beat by any other lenders. But, what gave me peace of mind, was his professionalism and expertise on how he presented the refinance process with PFG. Nate, always kept me informed on where we were during the refinance process, from the application process to closing. I felt as though I was his only client. I had one other opportunity to work with Nate just this year, 2013, on a second refinance with even a better mortgage rate. The refinance this time was just as smooth, if not a smoother process.
