Prospect Financial Group, Inc. Review

Wow, that was easy! I had been considering a Refi for awhile, knowing what a pain it can be, and I finally checked in with my mortgage holder and two other companies. One of the other two, Prospect Financial Group, made an I couldn't refuse! Coby Camerer walked me (online) through the process as I submitted copious documents required by lenders. He responded quickly, by email or phone, when I had questions. He's a super star in this business, trustworthy and committed to getting the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Prospect Financial Group. Thank you so much Coby!

I worked with Coby Cramer and Prospect Financial to refinance a triplex in Q3/Q4. This was a complicated deal with a non-resident co-borrower and some other issues, but Coby and his team came through with a fantastic rate. They were usually responsive by email and were very patient as the lender required additional documentation.

Most impressively, we missed our lock date because of an inept notary, but Coby and his team still managed to get us the old rate even though the market had had significant changes.

They make it easy to get the loan done and processed. Matt is great, Would recommend to anyone. I have used them twice.
Match or better the other deals that were offered.

Matthew Thomas is great! He is very good at explaining each step during the process and making sure the leg work gets done. He made himself available to go over every question we had and encouraged us to ask more if were unsure. We cannot thank him enough! I worked with Jevon Hobbiebrunken through my refinance process at PFG (Feb/ March 2013). He was excellent! He patiently guided me all throughout the refinance process and got me an excellent rate on my mortgage refinance (with minimal closing costs). I was surprised how quick the refi process was once I submitted my financial details (less than 20 days). I would definately recommend PFG for refinance to others and would continue to use them in the future.-Steve

Horrible. Last minute changes, bait and switch, high pressure tactics, "take a cashier's check for $5K+ and sign by 5 o'clock" boiler room tactics. Best that you avoid them all together. I sure wish I had done so, One lie after another.

I discovered Prospect Financial by way of Lending Tree, believe it or not, and from the first email from Seth Diediker to the last interaction following closing, I could not hope for a better experience in a refinance transaction.

First, there was no blinking at providing a quote by email after 1 brief phone call. This was totally unlike every other company including Rocket/Quicken that expected several rounds of communication with multiple people. One company even expected an application to simply provide a quote.

Needless to say, I only moved forward with Seth. His quote was spot on; he was always reachable, and the experience could not have been better.

I would suggest going straight to Seth for your refinance and 1st mortgage needs.

I was referred to Prospect Financial via Lending Tree, and I was very impressed with how seamless they made the process. We worked with Seth Diediker who was great on all fronts -- he returned all emails and phone calls promptly, was patient in answering questions and always explained things in clear terms. Most of the transaction (outside of the appraisal and doc signing) took place through email and Google Drive, which was very convenient. Last but definitely not least, we got a GREAT rate on a 20-year fixed. I would highly recommend Prospect Financial to any and all who are looking to re-fi in California. They're very customer service oriented and go above and beyond to make the experience a positive one for their clients.

I used Prospect Financial Group for refinance on my properties. They are really great to work with, especially Coby Camerer , he is prompt and honest , he won t waste your time. I normally get at least three different rate quotes when refinance but PFG seems to beat other broker/lender offers every time.
