This company tells you one thing and then when you follow it step by step and it does another it becomes your fault. During a time of uncertainty this company fails to show any compassion for it's customers. I would never recommend this company to anyone. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. Just read the other reviews written. They are all about themselves not the customer. While other companies are taking huge strides to help during these ruff time they offer nothing. It's not even the companies money it's ours the Customer. We just trust them with it, but never again and I hope you don't either. So many better companies out there.
Rolled over a Principal IRA (old employer) and have not received the 1099R. Called theree times and on the third call, an agent stated the account was not an IRA so no 100R would be produced. When I log on the account, it reads Individual Retirement Account with the account number.
My wife and I have been waiting for over a month for a distribution from Principal which they said would take 6 days. We plan on using the distribution to purchase a house. No one in their call center can help us. We are told different things by each of their representatives. Every time we are told that something has been done it hasn't. Every time we are told that something has been mailed or would be mailed it wasn't. If we can't trust you when we are making one of our most important investments how is someone supposed to trust you with their retirement and life savings?
