We have now purchased two new cars from this dealership, and have had great experiences. Jim was a fantastic car salesman. Mike in the finance department offered us the extras, but no pushy tactics. Not once did the folks at Premier use trickery like trying to talk about monthly payment instead of overall price of the car. Danielle filled in the gaps to answer questions when our salesman was not available. A+ customer service all the way around.
Burnt out my clutch on my way to Oregon on a time crunch, other services said that it would take 3 days to get parts in.. took it to Chris(service manager), and Chris ordered parts over night and got me bad on the road 24 hours later.. awesome experience with these guys at premier Mazda! thank you guys so much!

I purchased a used Honda CRV from Premier Mazda, and the experience went very well. They allowed me to take the vehicle to my own inspector and verify its status. There were a couple of items that appeared and they agreed to resolve the issues at no charge.

Premier Mazda's Service Department is TOP SHELF in everyway. They are honest, take awesome care of their customers, provide loaner cars. Our family takes all our service needs to Premier Mazda. I came in without an appointment with a screw in my back tire. They were BUSY and all appointments were taken. Did they turn me away? Did they tell me to come back next week? No, they welcomed me when I walked in the door by my first name, looked at my tire and said NO PROBLEM, we will get that fixed for you today. Even though they were fully booked, they made a stressful situation very easy. Not only did they fix the tire, they also changed my oil since I was there (remember they are fully booked) and they washed my car. My tire was fixed, my car was serviced and washed and they sent me on my way. This is one of the main reasons we own 3 Mazda Vehicles. They will always be our #1 Choice!
My husband and I live in Iowa, I was skeptical about buying a car out of state but after one conversation with Lester Ransburg, I was reassured I was in good hands. Premier Mazda had a great price on a new Mazda 6 IGT and after a bit of negotiating with Lester I became the owner of the car I wanted. Lester worked with my husband and I to get the right fit for our family and everything I was looking for in a car. He even went above and beyond to send us some all-weather mats. He took the time to go over all the specifics about the car and what all the warning beeps mean.
In short, next time u are looking for a Mazda, look up Lester at Premier Mazda. You won't be disappointed.

I HIGHLY recommend this dealership. Please note--all of the negative reviews were written before ownership changed. I didn't visit under that old ownership, but it seems like a night-and-day difference now.
Full disclosure--we did win a car here during their grand re-opening promotion (still can't believe our good luck!!!), but we also had legit transactions (trading in a car and upgrading to a more expensive vehicle) that convinced us to send everyone to Premier Mazda.
* We traded in my old car and received a very price for it--actually, the same or better that we would've gotten from selling it privately.
* They give everyone free car washes (hand washes) for the life of the vehicle and free maintenance for a year. This is better than any dealership I've seen in the past.
My wife and I received a pleasant, professional, non threatening, drawnout purchase experience at Premier. Using our Costco membership connection realized us costs savings and most importantly started the process of narrowing down choices and other preliminary steps. After decades of new car purchases and a short stint in car sales, PREMIER Mazda by far exceeded other dealerships with their low key but effective approach to the customer and staff members. I came in to get my car serviced after getting the run-around at Firestone. Premier Mazda KC knew exactly what was wrong with my car and fixed what I needed them to fix without any BS. My car is old, but they treated it like it was a brand new car, giving it a lot of care and respect (despite all my dog's hair). I did not feel pressured to buy a new car, even though it was obvious I needed one. They kept tabs on everything they worked on and went line by line before I paid them anything. I paid a lot to get my car fixed, but I felt like the prices were the same, if not cheaper, than Firestone or any other car shops. However, the level of customer service and renewed confidence you get after driving off with your [fixed] car is priceless. Thanks, Premier Mazda KC! Although I don't want to have to see you guys again, I know where to go if I need some fixin'!
Went all the way to this specific dealership based on these positive reviews... wish I could add to them. Our salesman kept getting up and disappearing, even from the very start, before we even looked at a car. We spent an hour or two there, and he literally left us at his desk with our small child, for probably 80% of that time while he was doing who knows what. This was early morning, on a weekday, so they were not busy at all. Will definitely not waste time on that drive next time.

I went to look at a car I found online. I test drove it and am now debating a buy decision which will depend on how my negotiations go tomorrow. They were fair about not wasting my time and having a vehicle for a scheduled test drive, which I really appreciate. I will validate pricing and check credit rates tonight before concluding a buy decision process tommorrow.
My windows are still squeaking after I asked specifically for them to not squeak. But besides that they have always fixed everything I asked

We have known their staff and management for many years now, and they deliver on all promises, they treat you like their #1 customer, and they do so without any of the typical dealer hassles - its a joy buying vehicles there and getting them serviced there as well. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation, along with getting a strange rattle diagnosed and fixed. I was told it would be $89 for diagnostics. After testing, they found screws had been loosened and fixed it. They knocked the diagnostic fee down to $67 since it wasn t a part.
Friendly staff, and great service provided for my CX-5.
They don t stop asking for reviews via texts and emails. They re like an obsessive girlfriend. The front desk secretary is absolutely awful as well, she makes you ASK to talk to an actual human otherwise she will send you to voicemail on purpose. Other than that, the service department people are great, even if the warranty doesn t cover much of anything.
The staff was very courteous and went out of the way to make us very comfortable. We had come to check out the type of car we were thinking about purchasing, the sales man ( Jim Bogard) worked with us to get a price we were comfortable with.

The staff are helpful, kind, and are willing to take time to explain what is being done to my car or what they recommend. The waiting area is pleasant with snacks, water, and coffee.

I'm a very happy Premier Customer! First new car I've purchased in many years and I must say the process at Premier is much better than any I ever had before. Was in and out with the car in just a couple of hours the first visit and then back a couple of days later to take care of the loan application, etc. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and welcoming and friendly. Special kudos to Tim, the salesman for being very thorough making sure I knew how everything worked and that the car was delivered to me freshly washed, detailed and with the gas tank topped off. The purchase process was so streamlined and free of pressure, they turned a day that had started out very bad into a great day by the time I left! They made sure I had everything I needed to get it registered all in one envelope and I literally spent 15 minutes at the license bureau in and out today. Just a super experience all around! I look forward to getting to know the service guys when time comes for service, but for now, I LOVE my new car! Couldn't be happier! Thanks Premier!

Had my first service on my new Mazda CX9. All went well. Checked on a one-time error code. Fully tested and no problem found. Ready for the next 5k miles.
This place is incredible. I live in Gladstone but drove 31 miles to this dealership in south Kansas City, rather than 2 miles to the dealer down the street. It wasn't just the deal - For the record, it was awesome - it was the way each staff member from sales to finance worked to secure my business. When buying a car, I prefer text and email to phone conversations or sitting across a desk. I mean, it's 2015. This can be a problem for more "traditional" dealerships, but the sales staff at Premier were willing to communicate on my terms and made the back and forth easy and conversational. There was no hard sell, no glad handing, and no hint of indifference from anybody. And when I got to the dealer, the car was parked out front and literally had my name on it in the form of a tag hanging from the rear view mirror which said "Welcome, David." Holy cow!
Talking big is easy, but this dealer earns loyalty, and they earned repeat business from me. The monthly payment came out to be even lower than the quote, they threw in all-weather floor mats, and gave me above book value on my trade. Even my wife, the world's greatest skeptic of car dealerships, suggested afterward I should send these guys a gift basket. I think I will.

Not happy with my treatment at Premier Mazda. Management and sales staff doesn t follow up on promises once the car purchase is complete. Management (general manager Jacob) never answered or returns phone calls. When the most recent issue was address, service manager Chris Auhll said there is nothing else we can do. Not the treatment I expect when you purchase a brand new car from a dealership. I will tell all my friends and family to avoid this dealership like the plague when they are looking for a new vehicle.

My wife went in to get a headlight bulb replaced, they told her it would be $1200 dollars. I replaced mine myself for $8, the cost of the bulb. It s either a scam or something is seriously flawed in the design of the CX9
I have been using their service center for the past 4 years now for periodic servicing for my 2014 Mazda3. They are always friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about everything that is required for my car. For upgrades or new parts, they are transparent about the current state of repairs, different options available etc and when it would be a good time for the said upgrade or new parts and do not push/advertise unnecessarily.
If you own a Mazda do youself a favor and take it to Premier Mazda for your all your service needs. Friendly and knowledgeable team of service advisors, and the mechanics always do a great job too. Free car washes with service visit, and if you need a loaner they have you covered. Best Mazda Service Department around!

Had someone named Mitch Harvey text me about buying a new car. When I said I was just laid off and would only want to fix things based on recommendations from their customer service team I have been working with and and not get a new car he proceeded to ask if I would be able to find a co-signer on getting a new car. So obnoxious and inappropriate. Way to push the sale, bro.

The Service Centre staff (Lisa & Skyler) are extremely helpful, knowledgeable & professional. Each time my wife & I have been in they are friendly, happy & make you welcome. Skyler has helped several times with his knowledge on my CX-5 (which I bought from this dealership a couple of years back). Lisa has asked for my car to be rewashed since she wasn't happy with the quality the first time around. Just a couple of examples of the superior client service on offer!

They were very busy today, however, Chris found time to visit and provide updates; Lisa does an outstanding job of making our service experience comfortable and pleasant. I bought my fifth car from this dealer. Every single purchase up to this point has been a used vehicle from a private sale (Craigslist). I came here because the car I was looking for (2016 or earlier top trim Honda CR-V) couldn't be found on a private sale. The internet price Premier was advertising was really reasonable, so I scheduled to look into the car. Jessica was the dealer rep, and did an awesome job being helpful and low-pressure from a sales standpoint. I expected a bunch of fees, but there was only a $200 admin fee which was acceptable. Jessica knocked a few hundred dollars off the already competitive asking price and we sealed the deal that day after they graciously let me take the car to my mechanic to have it inspected by a third party. Everything checked out perfectly. Thanks for a smooth experience!

I must say I'm surprised to see such a high rating for Premier.
I bought a used vehicle during an end of the year sale and thought I was getting a good price. AFTER starting the sales paperwork I was told the car was in the back getting coated with their upholstery spill-resistant product (for a ridiculous $915 fee-something I did NOT ask for) then they handed me a single key saying they didn't know where the other was. It cost >$150 to have a copy made! Bye-bye good price.
This car was primarily for my commute only and it was another week before I learned why the salesman INSISTED my wife sit in the front during a test drive. She wanted to sit in the back and see how roomy the car was, but if she had, she would have seen that the vents on the rear air ports were busted out.
I've had other issues with the car since--as will any used car buyer--however it's the shady salesmanship that really annoys me. Quirks and all, I would be happy with the car's price if it had been the advertised price I thought I was going to pay.
Premier is NOT WORTH THE DRIVE if you're coming from the Northland. Go to Zeck in Leavenworth instead. They're head and shoulders above the experience I've had at 4 other dealerships in both cost and quality.
Their service didn t do a very good job today. They re inflexible and can t give you a service loaner unless it s a wacky time in the middle of the day and you can t drop off the vehicle in the morning and get a loaner. The only time I can bring a car in and get a loaner is 1045? Really? Do they understand people have to work and they have jobs? They also don t do any diagnostic work on Saturday? So I m confused what their shop does on Saturday.... I ll be taking my business to a different Mazda...
Service Dept identified the problem as I discussed and made warranty repair/replacement, and performed recall service. All is well again
Not only do we love our 2016 Mazda CX-5 but the service at Premier Mazda in Kansas City, MO has been outstanding. The entire staff have been very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, I was pleased with the service. They were able to get me in the day after I called. While I had already used a tool to do a diagnosis, they still said I had to use their diagnostic service . As expected, it produced a laundry list of things that they said should be done, and some items cost way more than they should. After telling them what items to do based on what would get the car running and what I could afford, they did the work without additional pressure, and it only took a couple of hours. I also got a car wash, as well, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and hospitable.
This was my first experience at this dealership for a routine oil/filter change and tire rotation. Making the appointment online was easy and they were ready for me upon arrival at my appointment time. I found the staff friendly, professional and dedicated to keeping my Mazda maintained correctly. They have a faithful customer in me!

My experience with Premier Mazda was great. I actually went in after they had closed on a Saturday night and there was one lone ranger still around (Jimmy!). I was actually sitting in a car and when I got out and shut the door - I spooked him. But he was very friendly and asked me if I had any questions and I said yeah! We did some researching, crunching of the numbers and took a test drive and I bought a car! Very friendly group.
