Great job of reroofing our house. The crew arrived as scheduled and went right to work, completing the job in one day. Couldn't believe they did it all so quickly and neatly. Impressive job of installing as described by salesman, and excellent clean up. This is our second job by Powers, they did window replacement for the entire house two years ago and we were impressed by that job,too. Can't say enough about the quality and professional work performed.

I simply love my new window and at a very reasonable and affordable price. The schedule was made and technicians came on time. They even finished in good timing for me to prepare myself for work that same day.

The only issue that I have found to be a disappointment was the original gentleman who came out to take the measurements of my window did not conduct an accurate job and thus when the installation technician cam out, some items that was to come with the installation was not conducted. Like the inner framing of my window should have had a finished and painted look to match the entire window and the installation tech had to go out and purchase extra wood, not in the color of my window to complete the full installation of the window...leaving me to paint the frame of the window when it should already be done.

Overall, I would rate this review as good, but could have been better if several technicians which make up the team as a whole would be accurate within their individual jobs to ensure that their team-member who needs to conduct their job is done without anything extra or me having to complete which should already be expected and done.

The presentation is lengthy, but we thought the product was worth it. It was explained how an integrated roofing system was better than paper/shingles, and we love the longer transferable warranty. Thanks.

Use someone else to do your roof!
If my family could give 0 stars, we would. Our roof was replaced in summer of 2014. Since then, we have had more leaks in the roof than we can count. Our old roof, which was 30+ years old, never leaked as much as the new roof. Not to mention the fact that there were nails EVERYWHERE on the ground after the roof installation, which caused multiple flat tires for the family cars. Thank God we at least have a warranty. Totally unacceptable. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

We were impressed from the initial sales / estimate meeting which was handled professionally and thoroughly, to the completion of the project. We had 12 windows replaced and the job was completed in one day by the two man crew. The windows are awesome and made a huge difference in interior sound levels, insulation and appearance. We highly recommend PHG to anyone looking to upgrade windows!

Power installed two 3 part casement windows. They did an excellent job cleaning up and everyone was on time. We appreciate the lifetime warranty knowing we never have to do these windows again.

In 2011 I had two of my double hung windows replaced by a small local company. While the windows were of a very good quality I was not happy with the finishing details of the installation. I delayed replacing any more windows until I came into a casual contact at BJs with a Power Window representative. A salesman came that same day to my home and presented a lengthy but very informative demonstration. I decided to replace my kitchen windows at that time. The installation went very smoothly. The installer was skilled, informative, polite, and he cleaned up all the debris from the job. I was sold on the whole package. The windows are excellent and the touches are professional .I now have had the Power Remodeling Group replace the rest of my double hung windows and I couldn't be more pleased with their product and their installation.

Satisfied with all the work thats been done on my house. Kept the lines of communication open. Did my gutters and windows both projects went well.

Had Power come for a siding estimate, they were extremely friendly and informative about their products and home remodeling in general. I ended up hiring them for attic insulation and am very happy with the product. Good company, friendly staff, would recommend.

I can't say enough good things about this company. From the consultant who helped me design my roof replacement, Clinton Bonelli, to the Project Manager, Mike, and all of the help along the way from the incredibly efficient and knowledgeable corporate office, I truly felt appreciated. I live in a row home in Philadelphia and my roof project was particularly unique and complex. I have five (yes, five) roofs on my row home: a large flat roof over most of the house, a smaller flat roof on a balcony, and three regular pitched roofs. My consultant was upfront and honest with me. My leak wasn't coming from the main roof, which is in great shape. All I needed was the smaller sections. I had other roofers out who said I needed the whole thing done, which would have been thousands more. Well guess what? My leaks are gone and I didn't have to do the whole thing, just like Power promised. My installers were incredibly friendly, asking permission before disturbing me in any way. The Mediterranean terra cotta tiles that have covered my roof for 75 years were practically falling down by themselves. The technology Power uses is second to none. The footprint of an asphalt shingle is shallower than the old tiles, but they expertly flashed it to my siding so that it looks perfect. Additionally, my biggest problem, where one of my roofs meets a stone wall, was solved thanks to their counter flashing methods, which Mike described in great detail to me. It has now rained hard - TWICE - since my installation and everything is water tight. I had lots of wood that needed to be replaced from below my old roof. It was such a relief that they include THREE HUNDRED square feet without charging a dime. No back end charges like everyone I know have experienced with roofers. I should finish by saying that they also replaced my front door in a previous visit. The door is more expensive than I could buy at Home Depot but they replaced EVERYTHING, including the frame, so that it all fits perfectly. Power is definitely worth a look. For what you get (a lifetime warranty on EVERYTHING...even roofs), it's worth having the peace of mind to never have to worry about doing the project EVER again.

THE SALES PITCH AND PREINSTALL - Honestly, this part was kind of hellish. I can't get into it all again here or I might burst a blood vessel, but the short version is ... first salesman basically ignored me once I made it clear I wasn't going to sign on the dotted line that second. Second salesguy just took foooooooooorever to finish up the paperwork when I agreed. And the calls ... the call to make the appointment, the call to confirm the appointment, the customer service call to ask if the lady who made the last call was polite, the call to remind you of the install date, the call .. the call ... the call ...

THE INSTALL AND WINDOWS - Amazing product installed quickly and professionally by a team of 4 guys who left my home cleaner when they left than it was when they got here. The work is truly beautiful from the outside and in.The flashing and seamwork, the caulk job, the windows themselves, all top notch. They worked quickly, cleanly and professionally and get nothing but my highest praise.

BOTTOM LINE - I had windows done in half my house 6 years ago, by a decent contractor at a decent price. PHRG was definitely more expensive. But the difference in the quality of the product and the AMAZING difference in the quality of the install make me a believer that PHRG is every bit as good as they say they are ... even if they kind of annoy you along the way.

The experience that we had with Power was just as good as the first time... with well-trained and experienced installers. I would continue to recommend Power to homeowners for home improvement jobs.

If you are looking to nickel and dime replacing your roof on the cheap, do yourself a favor and not even bother calling Power. They do not nickel and dime anything. Yes, you will be paying a little more, but you more than get what you pay for. From the initial visit from the sales rep to the time our roof was put on was two weeks. We were treated with above and beyond professionalism. Any questions we asked were answered promptly and professionally. The day the roof was to be installed the crew showed up earlier than they were suppossed to and began work immediately. Both the project manager and job foreman walked me through and explained everything that was going on with the job. In one day, our roof was done, our yard was cleaned and both looked far better than before Power showed up. We have a 50 year warranty on the roof but more importantly, peace of mind it was done right and we will not have to do it again. You get what you pay for. We paid for excellence. We got it aand more. Money very well spent.

Purchased 7 replacement windows. Communication was horrible. Company sent one installer. He came really late in the day and then had to squeeze us in between jobs the next day. Took 2 days for install as we lost both days waiting around. It was worse than waiting for the cable company. House was a mess inside and out. Still finding nails all over the property, kids are probably going to step on one before I find them all. We paid for capping but a significant part of the window was not capped. Rusty material is exposed, I now have the worst looking windows in the neighborhood. I felt like just a number dealing with this company. I can t recommend Power Home Remodeling, look elsewhere folks.

Great quality work, professionalism, and customer service. Happy with everything they did.

I would give them 1000 stars for the work. My husband and I are extremely happy with the windows and the quality of the installation. This may sound silly but I have never seen caulking done so neatly. Makes the finished product look so clean and neat. Also, they worked so efficiently they got 6 windows and a patio door installed in 3 1/2 hours. My ONLY complaint is that even though the guys were very polite I thought it to be extremely rude that they came into our home and spoke only in Polish unless we addressed them. We were a little uncomfortable in our own home.

Overall, a great experience. Polite people, fast efficient jobs completed.

I did not go with this company as the price quoted for a roof was extremely high. Three other quotes and all range from $350-450 a square. This company was $1000 a square. I really wish they had some of the information on their Website so that I would not have wasted my time and their salesman s time. I did research ahead of time and would not have asked for a quote if I knew what they were going to try and sell. If you are only selling a complete system of roofing why not tell people that upfront. I wanted a quote on a roof replacement not a system that includes insulation a new style of ventilation and many other items. Be prepared to watch videos and hear how great they are rather than get told what you need to replace your roof.

BEWARE!!!!!!! They sent a young salesman to my mother's house who is a senior citizen. The prices quoted were more than $1000 a window. She had asked him to leave several times. He said he wasn't going to leave until she signed. He kept forcing a computer in her face and told her to sign. She said she counldn't afford it. He told her to give up her cable and soap operas and to read a book instead in order to pay. She called me crying afterwards and said she felt threatened.

Power sales complaint

Power, we are talking about windows, doors and roofs, not nuclear reactors. Staying in someone s home for hours on end is not thorough, it is outrageous!

Saturday, you sent someone named Nicole, who took things to another level. Even though this would have been my fourth project with Power, she presented a long, drawn-out presentation as if I weren t familiar with your company. When I told her I had another appointment in 20 minutes, she defiantly told me I won t be rushed and continued talking as if I hadn t said a word. When she finished her statement, I told her that she indeed would be rushed because she would have to leave when my next appointment showed up.

When the next salesman arrived, she introduced herself to him and said she would wait in another room of my home until he was finished. I told her no . Then she said she would come back at noon (it was then 11:10 a.m.) and then the next day, when I said no to that. Finally, she seemed to get the idea and walked to the door with me. She then asked me to call her when the other salesman left. When I told her I didn t have her phone number, she said she would give me her business card. I said she could leave it in my mailbox. She said she couldn t do that and had the nerve to ask if I would walk her to her car so she could get me one! I said no . She then asked if she had done anything to offend me. I said Yes. I have another appointment waiting for me and you keep talking and won t leave. She finally walked out of the door.

Okay, not exactly finally. Ten minutes later, she pulls into my driveway again! The salesman and I could not believe it. She got out of her car with a handful of papers and rang the door bell and knocked. I thought she had gone away, but then she went to another door and rang and knocked again! I didn t hear it, but the salesman said she turned the second door knob. I guess if it was unlocked, she would have just come on in! I had no intention of interrupting this gentleman s presentation. She had already had an hour and a half to state her case uninterrupted and present me with the free written estimate I was promised. She was rudely and unprofessionally trying to encroach on her competitor s time. Power, get your salespeople in check!!!

My wife and I own a house built in 1920 and the windows were in dire need of replacing. Power Home Remodeling gave us the best price, and the most outstanding service we have experienced during our home ownership experience. We had Derek, Brad and Bill come install our windows. We were extremely pleased and impressed with their workmanship, knowledge and friendliness. We plan to use Power Home Remodeling for our future home improvements and are already looking at windows and doors that might need replacing in the near future. We recently had our siding and gutters replaced by Power Home Remodeling Group. They were extremely professional, and the job was done to our complete satisfaction. We were previous customers several years ago when we had all of our windows replaced. We highly recommend them!

We have used Power for 23 windows and garage doors in the past. This time around, we got the roof and gutters done. For both jobs, everyone has been highly professional and attentive to our needs. The entire process both times around was highly communicated and at the end of the day, we feel like we got what we paid for. We never felt like we were hanging out in the wind with not enough information. In fact, quite the opposite, they are one of the most on top of their game companies that we've encountered. We are very satisfied with BOTH projects. It's nice to find a company that does multiple products equally as well. My daughter says their Noisy, but the neighbors said they were the quietest roofers ever, but I guess the sound of banging hammers is par for the course on a roofing job.

the friendly Powers people arrived in the time range that I had received per a call from their office. The men quickly removed the old window, replacing it with their new window, which fit like a glove. I am very pleased with these guys. They came in and got right to work and did a phenomenal job. These guys hustle and do a great job while doing it. Everyone who I have seen has been very well mannered!

Stay away from this company. They came and wasted my time with an estimate that was so high I was upset they even had the gall to present it. My home is a rancher. 3300 square feet. They quoted $62,000. Insurance estimated $22,000 for the roof including re-staining the entire outside of my home. Yes there is some wiggle room with insurance but $62,000 was a total joke.

They were VERY professional and punctual! Clean, neat, and the results are just what we wanted and needed. I highly recommend them.

We had Power Windows installed in our house. Our old windows were the original windows put in the house over one hundred years ago. The new windows are great they don't leak energy like our old ones did. The team that installed them did a great job. It took only two days to complete the job. They were professional and when they were finished they cleaned everything up. If I ever need new Windows or anything they sell, I will call they first.

I debated between a 3 and a 4 for this review.

We went to a home show to get a quote on a fence. There were no fencing people there, but on our way out, we started talking to a rep from this company. They talked us into a quote for windows and doors.

We figured why not, but insisted we were not doing windows or doors next.

The rep came to our home at 730pm the next day. He measured, and told us all about the amazing features of the windows and doors. We didn't really have the amount in the budget, and finally after saying no 3 times, he came back with a reasonable price. It was still out of our budget - see, we STILL want a fence, but honestly at this point it was 1230 in the morning, and we kind of said yes to get him out of the house so we could go to bed.

Ultimately, I was okay with the price, and we were excited to be getting a sliding glass door. (Yep - the windows were still out of our price range right now). The installation was scheduled for a month later due to my availability.

The guys came out today and installed. I was given a time of 9-10 for arrival, and they got here at 915am. The installed quickly, and were very clean. The one gentleman showed me how to open and close the door, and lock it, and made sure I had the warranty paperwork. The install finished at 1115, so 2 hours for the new sliding glass door.

I am really pleased with the product. The only thing I did not like about the company was the length of time "selling" us on the products, and how long it took. I also do not appreciate having to say no multiple times, and the sales person mysteriously finds wiggle room in the price.

I will be using this company again in the future, I just hope that they can give me less run around on pricing for our next project.

Working with Power Home Remodeling has been a truly amazing experience. We had all of the windows replaced in our home and are now having a few gutters and sliding glass door installed in our home. Everyone we have worked with has been extremely nice and one of them even left a thank you note for us to find in the mailbox. I would not hesitate to call them again for any future needs.

The experience with Power was nothing less that awesome from the very first conversation, throughout the installation and the follow up. Because of the great job they did, we have already started a second project with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This was the second round of work that Power Home did for us; first round was a year ago. We liked them so much that we had them come in again without a thought to any other vendor. From the first person Olena that knocked on our door to the remodeling consultant Bridget, Victor Chestnut, Greg Hart, to Preston..the guy we talked to on the phone were all very professional, thorough and personable. Simply put, everyone who we came into contact with was amazing. I would highly recommend them for roofing, and gutters. We also used them for windows back in 2005. Both times, our expectations were exceeded and we couldn't be happier.

From the young man who stopped by to see if we would like a free estimate, to the hard working crew that pulled off the old roof replaced wood that needed to be replaced (OK it was a pretty good sized jig saw puzzle) and completed the project. Every one involved from start to finish have been most professional. We have no complaints at all during the entire project.

Oh and the Gutters, ventilated soffit are next!

I contracted with Power to replace my roof -- I had two layers of shingles on my house and three on my garage. While the sales process was much longer than I would have liked, it wasy *very* informative and gave me a lot of information on how Power was different than their competitors and what to look out for if I chose a different contractor.

Power arrived on installation day as planned, but had to delay 1 day due to bad weather. Regardless, they still replace the entire roof in a single day as promised, and did a great job repairing some bad rafters as expected. Power did a fair bit fo replacement on the roof boards themselves, and it was all done professionally and without complaint.

After they were done I found a fair bit of tar paper, nails, and other debris, but no more than I expected given the work involved.

Overall, I would highly recommend Power and plan to use them again in the future for siding or other work. They were definitely a higher cost than other contractors, but I was swayed by the quality of their work, the quality of the materials, and the fact that they promised to have enough crew to complete the job in a single day -- a very welcome bonus!!

I will say that the sales presentation was long and drawn-out (it could have been much shorter), and the post-installation review was also largely a sales presentation, but given the quality of the work I didn't mind too much.

A friend had her home remodeled by Power and was thrilled with their work. So when it was time for me I called Power. I am thrilled with my new roof and windows. Power has the most professional staff in every department. From initial sales call to the workmen and several job managers making sure everything was done to my satisfaction. When the crew, Eric,Eric and Shamus showed up they actually shoveled the snow from my driveway sidewalks, steps and front porch. I couldn't be happier.

My wife and I have used several companies in the past, but consider Power to be the best, most thorough and courteous company we have ever used. We will use them for future projects. This is a must use company for anyone looking to do home remodeling projects.

This company uses scare tactics to get your business and will pressure you with repair not needed. The reps that come to your house are rude and will not take no for an answer. Stay away.

I attempted to get a price quote but because my partner was not able to make the appointment they said they could not provide me with an an appointment to quote me a price. I further told them that my partner gave me full authority to make the decision, they still said they could not help me. I pose the question who gave the supplier/distributor the authority to dictate who makes the decision for a privately owned home?

I can't believe that I'm going to be one of those people who leaves a review, but these guys are that outstanding that I have to. From sales to consultation to installation, I can't believe how easy and relaxed they made the entire process out to be. They installed nine windows and a bow window and when I tell you they did and insanely amazing job, and they had a good time at it too, it just put me more at ease. It was like having uncle Jim and his boys over to do some quick house work. And kicker, they cleaned up everything at the end. not a scrap left behind! Really if you're in the Philly/NJ area...I don't know anyone better than this company, and trust me, I had my front door installed by HomeDepot, and boy did that experience leave me wanting to shoot somebody. At the end of this I just want to find other things for them to do so they'll come back. They truly made a customer for life.

Power Home Remodeling was great with the siding install. The product looks awesome and the company was easy to work with.

Power HomeRemideling just completed installation of my new door...absolutely gorgeous. Installation was quick and perfectly completed. The job site was left clean and spotless. Quality team ensured the job was done to high standards. Cannot wait to work with Power Home Temodelers on my window replacements!

Just had two new doors installed. A front entry and patio sliding door. The installers showed up, on time, and began removing both doors at the same time. Installation took about 3 hours. What a beautiful job! When the job was complete they cleaned up so well you would never know I just had major renovations done. The price was more than I had planed on, but, the lifetime warranty sold me. When it comes time for new windows I will definitly be calling PHRG.

I've waited over two years to leave this review. I see many reviews are posted immediately after the work is completed. That's ok if you want say how great the sales person and contractors were to work with, but in the end it is about the quality of the product and how it performs.

Power Home Remodeling worked on several projects for us (Windows, Gutters, & Aluminum work), but the biggest was our window replacement. The sales person did great job showing how great the windows are, but after having 20 windows replaced I'm totally disappointed. The Aluminum was ok.

This is why I would NOT purchase or recommend their windows or other products:

1. Drafty - 80% of the windows are extremely drafty. Meaning you can feel cold air when standing in front of them. I think this is 70% poor installation and 30% window design and quality. But regardless these are expensive windows and they just don't cut it. Every fall I go and stuff tissue into the windows to help keep drafts out. Obviously it doesn't really help.

2. Faulty Design - How good can the windows be if insects can actually get through the screen and eventually into the house. The felt or insulation the windows use actually allows insects and thus air to easy get through. In the fall it is common to find bugs that have made there way in from the cold.

3. Poor Service - Aside from trying up-sell more services the company has not followed up on anything. They work hard at the time of completion to have homeowners leave a great review. I'd love to see them stop out in the dead winter and show me why there windows are actually so great.

4. Too Many Sub-Contractors - Most all their contractors are 3rd party. The sales people and project managers work for Power, but not many else. I have my gutters adjusted 5 times, all by different crews. They will slap a Power Magnet to the standard white van, but these are independent contractors get the work subbed out.

5. Poor Quality - The windows themselves are supposed to be a high quality private label product exclusive to them, but they certainly cannot be compared to the top end window companies. Their products supposedly come with a lifetime guarantee, but that seems par with every window company. Overall they are middle of the road. I did reinstall one of their windows myself and there are far few drafts which is why I feel the actual installation was poorly done. Most of the time contractors try and finish in one day and work into the night as they did on our home and just want to get done. They can barely see what their doing. Quality control takes a big hit.

In the end I have several remaining windows to have replaced and I'll buy a better product and do myself or look for another alternative. I definitely won't be using or recommending Power to anyone. The savings I should be seeing is not there.

Sadly if you are getting your windows replaced to not only save on your electric but help the environment. Well I'd say mother nature didn't gain
very much here. Power Home isn't going to help bring down your carbon footprint that much. :)

Had a great experience today with power home remodeling installing windows they were on time cleaned up and then train me on how to use the new windows very good experience.

Wonderful company to work with.We needed a new roof and had solar panels on our roof.Power representatives helped us get the solar company to remove the panels with no cost to us.Power made our job very affordable..
