I went with a friend during happy hour which was still on the pricey side, but a better value for just appetizers and drinks. The kimchee tartar sauce that came with the fish and chips was especially good. The lounge is dark and cozy, and was not terribly busy for a Friday night

It's a must see! The experience of enjoying a fine meal from the 30th floor, overlooking Portland, is absolutely gorgeous! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be visiting this fine establishment in the near future.

Went for a work function, so it wasn't exactly the most stellar food, but it was free for the employees there, so it was okay. The views of the river and most of downtown are fantastic, I would probably go back if the normal price of the food was within my budget. I can only treat myself so much. Like kfc once in a while kind of treat.

Very expensive in the dining room, but come for happy hour and you'll be treated to awesome views of the city and a wholly decent bar menu for a good price. The location definitely makes it worth the visit. It gets on the loud side, and be prepared to accept any table you can get. Arrive early for a coveted window-side booth.

My food was served cold. The potato was not cooked all the way and it wouldn't even melt the butter. My steak was terrible! The view was beautiful and the green beans and bread were fantastic!

View was great, second to none. Service was slow right before happy hour in the lounge. Food was average and was priced at a premium. Portland has so much better food options, but for the view, it is still worth the experience.

Being so far up is amazing if you sit by a window. Very loud and crowded. Food was decent, which should be expected for what you pay for. Environment was less than exciting if you're not getting the view.

Great view of downtown Portland and Mt. Hood! This place has a good happy hour menu and strong, tasty, and unique cocktails. The atmosphere is a little crowded and the music (piano) sometimes too loud, but definitely a great place to take visitors.

Got engaged here. Good food. Even better views! If you want to have dinner at the top Portland from a tower this is a good place to go. The food should be a bit better for the price. I had a steak and it wasnt better than what I make at home, but no worse either.

We, like everyone else, showed up late for happy hour. The view was great, the staff friendly and efficient. Split and entree of curry fried fish and waffle fries. Fish was delicious, fries were solid. Our mixed drinks were worth menu price. Dessert was solid as well. Definitely a good stop for a casual date. Make a reservation if you're looking to impress.

Mixed experience of customer service. The waiters did a great job, but the water refill guy just poured in the glass like he didn't care. Water just spilled over on my friends hand and his plate..and not even an apology.!
+s: view, environment.
-s: customer service, and food tastes just ok.
I will give it a miss probably from here on.

The last couple of times ive been here i've had a water glass dropped on our table by a server. This last time the booth smelled like urine. The manager said they would clean it and just apologized. Either way both times the experience has been not worth going and when brought up ththat dont seem to try and rectify the situation past a mere apology even when youve spent your meal wet or sitting in a booth th smells like a bustop. View is great but theres other rooftops that are better and worth it. I dont think im planning on going back.

What a view. This is the type of place that you want to sit down and eat your dinner slow so you can enjoy where you are. The food is great and so is the service. I don't know who would be ok with not sitting next to the window. Awesome place to go for any special occasion no matter the time of year.

It s expensive but the view of the city is amazing. Perfect for a first date or before prom. The appetizers where decently priced but if you re planning on buying and entree for two expect to throw down a hundred dollars drinks and appetizers as well $200

It seems it is one of the best views in Portland, but of course everybody already mentioned this thousands of times here. American portions are always toooo big for so I am trying to avoid full meal, and this time in Portland City Grill I went for soup of the day, which was extrmly delicious italian minestrone, and I also had a shrims, which were not that special compare to soup

SAVE. YOUR. MONEY. Fabulous view & cool vibe but the food and service are *NOT* worth the price tag. Waitress was slow & awful- had to be flagged down several times before we actually had all the menus we needed, forgot ordered items, left us alone at our table with empty plates in front of us for like 30 min.

I ordered a filet cooked blue. I got medium rare instead & was told that was "as rare as they could do it." A place that offers "wagyu" beef should be able to cook a blue steak, or at least a rare one. Partner ordered the "wagyu" sirloin, which was a sham--didnt even look like sirloin, no marbling. I dont really believe it was anything but a regular steak. Honestly it just looked like anotger filet. I suspect the lighting is kept suspiciously low to hide the super poor quality of the food.

Great view, fantastic appetizers and great service. That was till the moment they brought out our main entrees. Food was so dry I couldn't eat it. When I told my server, I was informed there was nothing she could do but still charge me and my date $80 for food we honestly couldn't eat. We did get a complimentary $7 dessert though.
Whatever!

Get there early, and be prepared to wait a little bit. Or get reservations. The view is worth it all though. The happy hour fills up ultra fast but 5$ eats at a 4star place is the best in town.

Lives up to its reputation! The thing I wish I'd known is how to get into parking under the building. It's easy, once you know. The parking garage is at the T intersection at 5th and Pine, but you can't turn in from 5th. So, drive on Pine to 5th. There's a stoplight. When the light turns green, drive straight across 5th into the entrance to the parking garage. Take the elevator to the 30th floor, and have a fantastic dinner with great service.
