Can't beat the company for our Mother's Day brunch. Wish there were a few more alternatives for vegetarians though. Meat eaters get the protein options of sausage, bacon, shrimp, bacon, oysters, scallops, prime rib, salmon, chicken and bacon....and vegetarians get eggs and cheese.....dismal... ;-/

Views are incredible but the food is over priced relative to the quality, or more like lack of quality food. skip dinner, just go for drinks but expect preppy, stuffy crowd, not typical of portland at all

My husband and I were so disappointed with our dinner. We are from out of town and always look forward to going to this restaurant as a special treat. The food was mediocre at best. I had the filet at $55, and it was so bland and tasteless I couldn't even eat it. Everything we had was just so-so. Really bummed especially since the food used to be so incredible. I wonder if they have new management or owners. The manager came over to apologize for the filet, and he was so overly fake, bordering on condescending. Kind of creepy. We won't be going back!

Excellent food with a bird's eye view of the city. This was the perfect place for our last meal in Portland. We had filet mignon and scallops with risotto and everything was perfectly prepared.

Presentation and the views are great here. It's the little things that keeps this from being a five star experience.

There were no ramekins or even small plates/bowls one could have their au jus, horseradish, cocktail sauce etc in. My prime rib was dropped on my plate in cocktail sauce the au jus slopped over it. While a small thing quite annoying.

The endless Mimosas truly ended after glass 1 as chasing our server down to get a refill was difficult. Mimosa #2 came right before our exit.

The prime rib sliced so thin, it would have been better for a sandwich. I get the cost saving here however a compromise between the 2 would suffice.

Our server very pleasant, views spectacular, nice furnishings, the vibe felt like a $50 brunch. Fix those little things and its on!

OMG i love this place, Perfect light, perfect view, the food is fine (not the best I have ever had) but it is acceptable !, But the customer service makes up for it, since they have excellent attention!

Happy Hour booth, far NW part of the bar, not enough light to read the menu, lantern on table not lit, 5 people and were told only 2 menus per table but we convinced them to allow more.........to top it all off no toilet paper in women's bathroom after just the 1st hour.

Although my favorite dishes are no longer on menu, the food is superb. The view of the city is unparalleled. Reservations are necessary due to the popularity of this restaurant.
Please bring back the bread pudding with whiskey sauce! I didn't get dessert because nothing else looked to my taste.

I would have given this place a 5 star, if the service had been as good as the food. We waited for the longest time to get our waitress attention, and when she finally showed up, she was a little rude. We ordered a Shafer cab ($170) it took forever for her to get back to us. We had to help ourselves with pouring etc. when our main course came, we had no cutlery so I had to get up and pick some up from an empty nearby table. She absolutely ruined our whole dinner experience. I have her name if anyone wants to know.
The bar was very nice and the bartenders were great.

Sort of meh, the appetizers we're amazing the steak I had was the waygu sirloin 75 dollars and terrible. Very tough and odd shaped. My wife's filet was delish mine however was poor. The bar area and atmosphere was nice. We ate in the main dining room beside 4 ladies drinking and raising hell very loudly. Our table couldn't even hear each other. Some people.

Only went for a drink but it was phenomenal. The best view anyone could ask for. Our waitress was brilliant and told us about all the other things to do in Portland! Definitely recommend the pomegranate mojito

Great view of Portland if you can get by the windows.
Overpriced for what you get and very noisy inside.
Service was good.
Menu is steak, fish and lamb.
There is no "intimate" seating with tables very close to each other.

Fantastic views, food, service and ambiance. It s on the 30th floor with sweeping views of Portland. This is a very nice restaurant, not your average grill. Great place for special occasions. They re commonly busy so make reservations. Enjoy!

Service was excellent

Service was excellent
They forgot our salads and had it served with our steaks
My steak was very tough
Willing to give this place another shot
The drinks and view was amazing!

I always go during happy hour and the food you get for the price is amazing! And the service has always been great! The only thing is do not like is that the bussers clear the whole table while you are still sitting there and do not consider that you might want to order more food or drinks. I will definitely keep going back regularly.

My all time favorite restaurant/high end bar in Portland. If you are visiting from out of town or you've never been to PCG I highly recommend it, as the food, drinks, and atmosphere are exceptional but be sure to get a window seat as the view is breathtaking & by far the best in Portland. My favorite drink would be the blueberry lemon drop martini and my favorite food would be the filet mignon. They also have a killer happy hour on Friday from 9pm to close and Sunday all day (only in the bar area).

The only reason to go is if it's clear so you can have an amazing view. Otherwise, it's an average/subaverage restaurant with "fine dining" prices. It feels like stepping back into the 90's while you're there too.

If you're visiting Portland, Portland City Grill is a must stop. Sitting high on top of a skyscraper, this bar/grill boasts the best views in Portland. They have a nice selection of wines and craft beers to suit most pallets. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a special treat.

We spent the day at PCG for a team work session. The conference room was lovely and meals were delicious. We capped the day off with drinks and appetizers in the bar. Beautiful views, good pomegranate margarita and overall excellent service. Word of warning when parking in the garage with an SUV. Ceiling is Low and while my 4Runner fit, it was with just inches to spare.

Great service and great food. Somewhat worth the cost.

I used to go to this place years ago just for happy hours. The food was ok, but ,in my opinion, it seemed to be over priced even for the view.
It was much better this time. But the quality of the food remained ok still.

I would recomend this place if you are looking for a fancy place with a quality of service.

Oh I have to mention that the Appetizers we had were fantastic. Crab cakes and kong pao(?) calamari.
But I had a better pork chop at Mother's bistro before.

Had dinner here a few weeks ago. We try to hit up PCG at least once every few months. Happy hour is a must and the drinks are good. For dinner if you want a table by the windows for the view get there at least 45 minutes before your reservation and request it. Have had multiple items from the dinner menu, nothing will disappoint.

It's not like the 2000s anymore up at the PCG. Quality of food has gone down along with the drinks. I don't feel the connection that I used to have back in the 2000s while I was a regular. Went there last Sunday and it was quiet. Jambalaya was not bad. Old fashioned cocktail was quickly put together. Did not present the drink well.

Had a business lunch here. Overall disappointing food quality, everything is sweetened to compensate for lack of flavor. Fried calamari tasted like chicken stripes in sweet sauce. The veggie rolls were good themselves but came with sweet sauce. The Columbia valley salmon was well cooked and tasty, but has a slight sweet taste to it. The fish came with risotto which was not good at all and some sort of sweet green chunky paste.

I love the Sunday all day happy hour menu! Relaxing in the couches, having a well made drink and watching the city with friends is just amazing here. Love the the grilled steak sandwich.
