This site is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. when I I need a special lunchon, this place comes instantly to my head. Great and all kinds of food and a rich menu.generous staff, and nice atmosphere. Not less important, the pay is reasonable. I sent my friends to this spot with no doubt.

The views from this place are exquisite! Several volcanoes are viewable from this vantage point. Mts. Hood and St. Helens can be seen the best. The rest are specks on the horizon, but are there nonetheless. The restaurant is VERY pricey. Going for happy hour Sunday afternoons helps, but the portions are small, snack-like meals. All-in-all, a nice place for tourists to visit.

This place is on the 30th floor in downtown Portland. The view is absolutely amazing. You can see both Mt Hood and Mt St Helen. However, I did not feel like the view was worth the ridiculously high prices on the food, which was average. The menu is weird, a bit of everything. Their beer selection is non existent and it's really dark onside. I guess they're trying to make it romantic, but it's too dark. All in all, not my favorite, and will most likely not return

People are just haters. This place was awesome. The view is spectacular, as well as the food and service. We started out with their sushi, which was really good, and I barely like sushi. I has the pork chop and my hot date had their chicken something other. The main courses were really good, but I was slightly disappointed for the side dishes. They just tasted all right for how much I payed.

The view of Portland from here is exceptional. Their brunch is, too. Forty-nine bucks for brunch seems a little spendy, but the selection and quality of dishes is outstanding. The ceviche was marvelous and the selection of Italian meats was very nice. The ceviche is pretty much a meal in itself for us seafood lovers and the oyster shooters just topped it off nicely. The sushi bar is unique in that, after seven years in Japan, I had never seen sushi rolls made with cabbage. Live and learn. All in all, it's a nice way to spend a couple of hours gorging. Service is pleasant and timely.

It was the perfect location to kick off our Portland trip and what a great ice breaker it was. Thirty stories above street level, it has the BEST view of downtown. We stopped by during their late night happy hour and loaded our table with half-off appetizers. very single dish that we had was excellent, but my personal favorite was the crab cakes, it might be one the best I've had. Hockey puck size cakes!!

Great location and view but the seating in the lounge kinda sucks. The point is to try and give everyone a decent view. It works out the the seats next to the window are very low and don't have proper tables. All of the other tables are up pretty high as well. It would have been nice if they just used regular tables/chairs on terraces.

The food, drinks, and service are good but nothing to set it apart in that regard... I really feel like this place is a clone of Stanford's with an awesome view (which is an overall positive remark).

Service was amazing

Come for Happy Hour. Perfect for impressing a Date. Food is always incredible. They change up their menu often, so there's always new items to try. Window seating is hard to come by, but definitely worth the wait. I don't know any other restaurants in Portland with such a view!

Romantic dinner place for couples. The serving sizes are small for the price but the food is high quality and tasty. Servers are very polite. The view is lovely during sunset and at night.

Called about a half an hour ahead to make my reservation, was asked the occasion (anniversary) and was seated at the window with "happy anniversary confetti" cocktails were delicious and so was the food. staff was friendly and genuine and the chefs looked pretty happy (from where we were seated) AND they liked my picture on instagram. wonderful experience

Portland City Grill is great, the food, the drinks, the staff but the best part of it all is the breathe taking views. It has everything you could wish for in a romantic dinner setting or any occasion, really. If the food isn't your thing, then the bar lounge area is perfect to kick it & take in a few drinks with friends, family or even co-workers.

I took my woman her for her birthday last year and they helped make it a special night for her. This year I'm taking her back there cause the food was unbelievable good. This place has a good view and a good feeling during eating. I love it.

Nice views, regular but non memorable cocktails, reasonable wine selection. I'd go back for the experience of dining at an elevated height more than for their food and drink selection. 'Fine Dining' is not what this place actually is, even by Portland standards.

I love their food and their drinks. I met the general manager for the first time tonight. He was genuine and focused on great customer service. I recognized one of the servers who I have encountered before, Emily, who as become my favorite out of all the restaurants I frequent. Thanks to both of you for making that incredibly hot night night bearable!

We asked to be seated at a smaller table 3x . Food order was taken 40 minutes after arrival. Service slow and had to ask for more bread 2x. Seems that when a request is made, it goes into outer space. After restaurant service in NYC, this ranks 1 /5.
Won't be back for awhile.

I used to love this place for happy hour; it was great food, good service, amazing view. However, it's gone way downhill. Service was less than personable, and the food was mediocre. Not worth the amount of money you're going to pay for parking and the view of Portland just isn't worth it these days.

This is definitely one of those special occasion spots that you take a loved one on when you're trying to impress them. The signature feature of this place is that it offers the best view of Portland in all directions. It's a place I wouldn't go all the time but it does serve a purpose.

Great place to eat. Would recommend if it's a special date. Would not recommend if it's a normal date. Can be pretty spendy. Great customer service for being my first time. Took girlfriend out on a special date. First time trying lamb.

We went on 4th of July to see fireworks and celebrate our anniversary. Was really surprised by diversity of items on menu. Also quality and presentation was great. Huge thanks to our server Izzy, he did our evening special with his personal touch, not to mention his excellent service.

This is a well known local gem that has been around for awhile. Perched high atop the U.S. Bancrop tower on the 30th floor is this elegant fine dining restaurant. Traditional American fare that is only matched by the sweeping views of the city and panoramic Oregon countryside below. Service is top-notch and the wait-staff is very attentive. The happy hour in the bar portion of the restaurant cannot be beat! This is the city's worst kept secret as the moment happy hour begins that section is jam packed until the end of the night! This place has something for everyone. Sunday brunch is pricey but incredibly sophisticated if you want to impress family or in-laws from out of town. If you are celebrating a special event I recommend this place.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. The food is great and yet not really. By that I mean the quality of the ingredients they use is astonishing but they aren't prepared in a way that elevates it's flavor. You get a five star view sitting to the window but then have people come stand right over your head taking pictures all dinner long. I think the only things that truelly warrant the prices in this place is the drinks and the amazing service the staff provides.
