Great overlook of the city, but at a price. Service was excellent & food was very tasty. Don't overlook the Cioppino, it's very good & may be the best value.

Can't lose here. Bring your date, lover, or business deal. You can score!"
Almost ordered two sushi apps in a row because it is phenomenal. Would have if I did not ask for and receive extra wasabi guac on the first order. Sooooo good. Short ribs not pictured almost two delicious meals, which I also ate by myself haha. Happy hour of course. Decent WiFi.
Amazing view, great atmosphere, fantastic service & delicious food & drinks. Would highly recommend.
Love the lounge. Very chill. Louder crowd but that's just what we wanted on a Saturday night.
First experience at Portland City grill on really liked it will be back again soon
A little cramped and loud, but the view is wonderful and the food/beverage is lovely! A nice place in PDX for sure.
High end standard American fare. The food is good, the service excellent. If you can try to get a seat near a window. The view is unique in a clear day or night.
Their happy hour in the bar area makes for a nice way to split some appetizers.
Go during happy hour. Awesome time! Amazing view! Love the food!
OMG the best views, the best food and the best service
Between the view and the happy hour menu, this place is worth going to alone. The pianist in the lounge was quite entertaining, though rather loud. The female waitress was exceptional, and attentive. appetizers and happy hour food was delicious, and not overly pricey. Not a very good draft selection. Will go again for the views.
The view is fantastic from the 30th floor, especially on a late afternoon as the sun is setting over the Western Hills. Good wine list, with some hard to find vintages by the glass. I didn't eat here so can't vouch for the food.
You get an awesome view, day or night. I recommend this place if you are visiting the city. I would suggest to come during their happy hour for drinks and food.
Great service, free wifi, great atmosphere, great food!
The food is good, but not great. The staff is friendly. The views are fantastic. The ambiance is 1960's power lunch, only everyone there is a tourist in casual tourist clothes. The lighting is very dim, so much so that it's hard to see what you're eating. And the noise levels are high. We probably will not be going back.
Loved every minute @PCG! The atmosphere, the hospitality, the food (omg so good!) So glad I got to experience this place!
Great food and atmosphere ...nice views most tables but this is my 3rd time here and I've yet to get a window!
Amazing views and great service. The food could be better but isn't bad.
Can't go wrong with food from here. Happy hour apps are a must!
Great food. Wonderful service. Skye was our server and she was a delight. Clean restrooms and extremely accommodating. You can have your parking validated if you park in the garage and bring in your ticket.
Overall decent experience, just a few disappointments.
Mac and cheese was incredible, as was the whiskey sour. Manhattan was decent.
The view is nice, but for happy hour you have to arrive a bit early or get lucky to get a seat near the window.
The ceasar dressing is VERY heavy on anchovies - my wife can usually handle a basic caesar dressing even as a vegetarian but absolutely could not eat this.
Elderflower Greyhound cocktail has way too much grapefruit in it and honestly I'm surprised it is even served.
Great food and you can see everything in Portland from their vantage point.
Great service. Reasonably priced wine list with reputable offerings. Good appetizers include the crab cakes and calamari and shrimp tempura. Good steaks.
While the food is okay, the menu is so scattered it feels like they are trying to accommodate too many palates. The view is very nice but I would rather look at the street and eat somewhere better.
Did Sunday night happy hour, nice views, bar menu limited, ordered the pork belly sliders, tasty but bring your Poly Grip, creme brule real good...
Super fine dining with great views of the city. Bar staff were super responsive and food was delicious. Try the Key Lime martini - delicious!
I love Portland City Grill. The main draw for me are the amazing views of Portland & Mt. Hood. The restaurant has top notch service & delicious food. The bar is fun & makes an awesome Spanish Coffee consistently. I go here for celebrations & to just hang out. The view is great for watching fireworks too!
Nice place to eat and nice beautiful view of the City of Portland State of Oregon USA
Amazing nice place with the best food ever. Will never forget this place
View was great. Food was above average. Layout caused some confusion when getting off the elevators.
great times here. heard they got bought out. hope it sticks around
We have been to Portland City Grill numerous times over the years and tonight we were not impressed what-so-ever! We made reservations for a birthday celebration and in the past they have always decorated the table and really just made the person celebrating feel special. Tonight however, nothing was decorated and they didn't even give a little birthday dessert! As for the service, our waitress was okay. The food was good, but I ordered my steak "well done" and by the time I got to the middle, it was far from that! We have always loved coming here, but we will think twice next time before making a decision on a restaurant! We feel the service should be much better for the price we pay to go there!
Such a great place to watch the sun set, and wonderful staff, too. The sushi was very fresh, and the signature Manhattan is not one to be missed at this establishment. I went here at the suggestion of a friend and am very pleased!
The drinks and view are awesome!! We only had appetizers and they were OK.
The overall standard bearer for Portland dining (and highest-grossing from what I hear), this restaurant brings together West OR seafood with East OR beef and to deliver a fine Northwest version of Pacific Rim cuisine. The panorama over the city from the 30th floor of the US Bancorp tower is the icing on the cake. If you're feeling affluent, as for a tour of the special Chef's Table room adjoining the kitchen.
Great food and great views, kinda loud but it's a huge place with lots of seating. Also kid friendly
Good wheelchair accessibility. Great food and service.
Come for the view, stay for the amazing food and house cocktails. The Champagne Supernova is hands down my favorite cocktail in Portland. Visit the bar during happy hour (4-7pm & 9pm-close) and enjoy amazing plates (I recommend the sushi, fried rice, or calamari) for under $6.
Great views, service was good but they over cooked my halibut
Mediocre food. Decent liquor selection despite lacking in top shelf bourbons.
A Wonderful Experience
The atmosphere is soft, warm and relaxing... unrushed. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the appetizer and then some very good bread before our server brought dinner. The sushie roll was much larger then anticipated. The corn chowder was very good. Both meals were beautifully prepaired with a wonderful flavor. The portions are much more than expected
My husband and drive all 48 states and try all types restaurants
Fancy place, great view, nice food. Should have Wi-Fi though.
Great views, atmosphere, food and service. Always a treat to go here
Loved the drinks, food and the view. The staff is very friendly.
This place was ok. I thought the food choices for vegetarians was poor. I like things other then salad. The people that I was with said usually they selection is better. I just figured that in a Portland, there should be better vegetarian dishes.
Came with my family for a nice dinner over Christmas weekend. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we ve had. Anthony was our server and he was absolutely incredible. Always there when we needed a refill or anything. Very polite and charismatic, will continue to come back just for him
Amazing food and service. The cocktails are almost as good as the view
Probably the best crab cakes I ve ever had, and a great salmon entree and bourbon bread pudding for dessert. Excellent service and great view of the City too.
It's ok. Views are awesome food sucks. For the money they charge it should be better. When the people from kitchen came I lost my appetite.
This is a must-do on a clear day. While the menu has lots of fancy dishes, this meat & potatoes guy chose their burger. They probably don t want to be known for a burger, but it was dang good. A spectacular view. Mt. Hood is easily visible. Very good service.
Amazing food and service, and the higher than usual prices with the view are expected with all of the above mentioned!!! Definitely a night out on the town or a happy hour glass of wine and app to go with it. Will be back!
Good prices for happy hour. Nice servers, slow service. They're very busy. Beautiful view of the city form the 30th floor.
Overpriced, Overcooked. Shari`s may give competition in the food department.
Great views, professional servers and awesome food.
We had a wonderful time celebrating a special moment! The staff was great and food was delicious.
This restaurant offers superb service and enjoyable food. The best restaurant around here. The meals served rapidly and the prices were fair. Recommended.
A great place for a personal birthday treat! The Kobe steak is delicious.
Omg. The view is spectacular. The service is OUTSTANDING. But the Cod Fish, was EXCELLENT I'm planning my next trip right now. Can't wait Portland Grill!!
Excellent atmosphere fo gatherings; food is AWESOME
Great during happy hours for drinks and unbeatable view.
Food was good, but you're definitely going to this place for the view. Loved it.
I've only been to the bar here, but the view of Portland was enough to make me want to come back. Oh and the drinks were great too =)
cool bar on the 30th floor of a corporate high rise. great place to start the evening.
Great food, drinks, their ribeye is to die for. And the view is amazing.. if you want to go on the weekends prepare your selves for a long wait at the bar area seating is limited, everyone wants to be there on the weekends..
If you come from out of town, go for happy hour!! Show up a few minutes before 4pm as there s a line at the elevators and you can claim a view of the mtns and downtown and be served immediately, foods great, a whole bottle of wine is decently priced. Locals said the food is subpar... finding they might just be spoiled with Portland upscale restaurants, the spicy ahi tuna bowl and Mac and cheese are amazing!
Awesome atmosphere great, view of mount hood, and even better happy hour specials.
