Almost ordered two sushi apps in a row because it is phenomenal. Would have if I did not ask for and receive extra wasabi guac on the first order. Sooooo good. Short ribs not pictured almost two delicious meals, which I also ate by myself haha. Happy hour of course. Decent WiFi.

So good

High end standard American fare. The food is good, the service excellent. If you can try to get a seat near a window. The view is unique in a clear day or night.
Their happy hour in the bar area makes for a nice way to split some appetizers.

Between the view and the happy hour menu, this place is worth going to alone. The pianist in the lounge was quite entertaining, though rather loud. The female waitress was exceptional, and attentive. appetizers and happy hour food was delicious, and not overly pricey. Not a very good draft selection. Will go again for the views.

The view is fantastic from the 30th floor, especially on a late afternoon as the sun is setting over the Western Hills. Good wine list, with some hard to find vintages by the glass. I didn't eat here so can't vouch for the food.

The food is good, but not great. The staff is friendly. The views are fantastic. The ambiance is 1960's power lunch, only everyone there is a tourist in casual tourist clothes. The lighting is very dim, so much so that it's hard to see what you're eating. And the noise levels are high. We probably will not be going back.

Great food. Wonderful service. Skye was our server and she was a delight. Clean restrooms and extremely accommodating. You can have your parking validated if you park in the garage and bring in your ticket.

Overall decent experience, just a few disappointments.

Mac and cheese was incredible, as was the whiskey sour. Manhattan was decent.

The view is nice, but for happy hour you have to arrive a bit early or get lucky to get a seat near the window.

The ceasar dressing is VERY heavy on anchovies - my wife can usually handle a basic caesar dressing even as a vegetarian but absolutely could not eat this.

Elderflower Greyhound cocktail has way too much grapefruit in it and honestly I'm surprised it is even served.

While the food is okay, the menu is so scattered it feels like they are trying to accommodate too many palates. The view is very nice but I would rather look at the street and eat somewhere better.

I love Portland City Grill. The main draw for me are the amazing views of Portland & Mt. Hood. The restaurant has top notch service & delicious food. The bar is fun & makes an awesome Spanish Coffee consistently. I go here for celebrations & to just hang out. The view is great for watching fireworks too!

We have been to Portland City Grill numerous times over the years and tonight we were not impressed what-so-ever! We made reservations for a birthday celebration and in the past they have always decorated the table and really just made the person celebrating feel special. Tonight however, nothing was decorated and they didn't even give a little birthday dessert! As for the service, our waitress was okay. The food was good, but I ordered my steak "well done" and by the time I got to the middle, it was far from that! We have always loved coming here, but we will think twice next time before making a decision on a restaurant! We feel the service should be much better for the price we pay to go there!

Such a great place to watch the sun set, and wonderful staff, too. The sushi was very fresh, and the signature Manhattan is not one to be missed at this establishment. I went here at the suggestion of a friend and am very pleased!

The overall standard bearer for Portland dining (and highest-grossing from what I hear), this restaurant brings together West OR seafood with East OR beef and to deliver a fine Northwest version of Pacific Rim cuisine. The panorama over the city from the 30th floor of the US Bancorp tower is the icing on the cake. If you're feeling affluent, as for a tour of the special Chef's Table room adjoining the kitchen.

Come for the view, stay for the amazing food and house cocktails. The Champagne Supernova is hands down my favorite cocktail in Portland. Visit the bar during happy hour (4-7pm & 9pm-close) and enjoy amazing plates (I recommend the sushi, fried rice, or calamari) for under $6.

A Wonderful Experience

A Wonderful Experience
The atmosphere is soft, warm and relaxing... unrushed. We were given plenty of time to enjoy the appetizer and then some very good bread before our server brought dinner. The sushie roll was much larger then anticipated. The corn chowder was very good. Both meals were beautifully prepaired with a wonderful flavor. The portions are much more than expected

This place was ok. I thought the food choices for vegetarians was poor. I like things other then salad. The people that I was with said usually they selection is better. I just figured that in a Portland, there should be better vegetarian dishes.

Came with my family for a nice dinner over Christmas weekend. Hands down one of the best dining experiences we ve had. Anthony was our server and he was absolutely incredible. Always there when we needed a refill or anything. Very polite and charismatic, will continue to come back just for him

This is a must-do on a clear day. While the menu has lots of fancy dishes, this meat & potatoes guy chose their burger. They probably don t want to be known for a burger, but it was dang good. A spectacular view. Mt. Hood is easily visible. Very good service.

If you come from out of town, go for happy hour!! Show up a few minutes before 4pm as there s a line at the elevators and you can claim a view of the mtns and downtown and be served immediately, foods great, a whole bottle of wine is decently priced. Locals said the food is subpar... finding they might just be spoiled with Portland upscale restaurants, the spicy ahi tuna bowl and Mac and cheese are amazing!
