This is a beautiful, historical resort. We enjoyed our stay here. It is difficult to find parking, which makes it challenging. They do have shuttles to help navigate around the resort, which is helpful. I did feel a little uneasy when we did have to walk around as the driveways are so narrow it is scary with kids. Pools are fun but the drinks and food is way overpriced. Worse than Vegas pricing or at a Cardinals game.

Only thing, the shuttles to the restaurant should have at the very least a towel to dry the seats that were always wet. The Different point of view restaurant was excellent and the view was incredible.

Simply not worth the money!!! Lady driving golf cart was rude.. had an attitude problem and was harrassing my guest at the pool.. do not ever plan on spending my money on this place again and will not recommend this hotel!

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, but Not a good night sleep. Paper thin walls mean you hear everything, from people coming back to and moving around in their rooms at 1 in the morning, to the many trucks driving by. Now why there were trucks driving through a narrow resort road surrounded on either side by resort rooms throughout the night, I don t know. I just know we heard a number of them.

Housekeeping was also knocking on and opening our door at 8:20 and again 30 min later. As it happened we were up, but that s too early to be knocking.

Also all the pillows are overstuffed without a flatter choice in the lot. I ended up sleeping w/out a pillow since I got rid of them at some point in the night. I also found the beds kind of hard (and the bottom sheet was short, exposing the mattress). Let me also state that I have stayed at a lot of hotels, both 5 star resorts as well as more economical options, so I have a fair idea of average expectations.

Rooms and buildings are also dated, and while spacious, have bad layouts that end up negating the space. Bathroom is split in 2 w a hallway through the middle. This makes both sink area and tub/toilet area feel tight and congested. Additionally, everything you need to take a shower, including towels, are in the sink area, so if you don t notice before, you have to ask your roomie or walk your naked self across the hall to the sink to get what you need. Probably dripping all the way across.

Also this arrangement means the bed blocks part of the doorway. This is not only obnoxious, especially when bringing suitcases in/out, but I would have thought it was against fire code as well.

Grounds are beautiful and staff is friendly, hence the 3 stars, but I didn t find the hotel restful at all, and at this price point, my expectations are higher.

This resort feels more like a 3 star hotel. Outdated and very loud. Definitely seems more for a cheap family get away than a relaxing resort. The pools are okay but the smokers make the adult pool an awful experience. I was not a fan of the service, when it came to answering questions and giving us correct hours of the falls. The only people that seems helpful and make us feel weloomed were the velet. The housekeeper also came to our room at 9am on Sunday and I was sleeping in! I would rather save up and go to a real resort!

Save your money and go to one of the other amazing resorts in Arizona. When they make a mistake, they aren t interested in correcting it, never mind how much money it costs you as a guest. Never again!

I rode to the Pointe Hilton on a beautiful Sunday ...

I rode to the Pointe Hilton on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to take in the wonderful view at the top of the hill and to take a few photos. I rode up the hotel road to get to the restaurant parking lot at the top of the mountain. There were no closed gates or barricades blocking it off.

As soon as I got off my motorcycle I was approached by a security guard in a golf cart and asked if I was staying at the hotel. I told him I wasn't and then he told me I had to leave the property. I asked him what if I was staying at the hotel, could I be in the parking lot. He told me that I still couldn't be there because it was private property and the restaurant was closed (not opening until 5PM and it was only 2PM).

He ultimately called a second security guard who rode up in a golf cart and told me that the police had been called and they "would do more than just tell you to leave".

I have been a resident in the Phoenix area several years and have visited this property before to take in the beautiful view of the city. It is a shame that their idea of customer service is to chase people off the property.

I spoke to a front desk manager before I left, however all he did was reinforce the security line that "I would have been told to leave whether I had ridden a motorcycle or hiked up there"

Just an unpleasant experience visiting a Hilton that claims to pride itself on customer service.

Fantastic hotel with 1 fantastic swimming pool with waterfalls and a number of smaller swimming pools spread over the large complex. Suites are nice and well furnished with lots of space. Service is good.

This is our 2nd time at this hotel, on Saturday it was so busy. There were 2 guests who overtook 6 chairs and 3 umbrellas for a lousy party of them. It was over 100 degrees and no one enforced this. Rooms are ok. Parking is a nightmare when crowded.

My first time in Arizona, I stayed in Pheonix last weekend at this Resort. Excellent, Friendly Staff, they will give you suggestions on the best restaurants and shopping places around.
The food at the property is pretty good too, just sayin.

The property blew my mind. Absolutely beautiful, the views from my room were amazing. Pheonix is just beautiful itself but this Hotel gives you the best views, especially from The Different Pointe of View Restaurant and Lounge. The next time I m in Pheonix, I will definitely be staying at this Resort.

This property is superb, not new and flashy, but a well cared for treasure. The real standout is the staff. There are younger folks working at the pool that are polite and professional, and more seasoned vets on the ground crew and bar staff that really go the extra mile to make your stay special. Every single person I encountered , every single time I stay there makes a point to say hello and gives you a smile. This is rare in my experience. I guess that is the reason this is our go to place when we need to get out of town. Definitely give this place a try, I think you will agree!

Rooms are great. I had a two queen suite that fit my family of five perfectly. The customer service is amazing. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate some specific requests, even upon early check in. The pools are awesome, my whole family loved it. And prices for this place were on par for other close by hotels without this atmosphere and pools. My family will always stay here.

Its ok... rooms not all that great for the price....pools are jam packed. And parking is horrible.....the parking alone is enough to drive you insane. Nice view and a definite deal maker to set the mood for some nookie....get er dun... maybe just not here.

I'm not one to ever write a review about anything ever, but my experience was worth sharing.

Room was great. Went for a night on a groupon. Service though, another story. You could tell that the Supervisor, Wing, was already irratated by the look on her face when she was helping the group before i got up to her for check in. Knowing she was upset already, i tried having some small talk with her to maybe lighten to mood, after all, i was kind of irratated as well because of waiting in line for an hour. She wasn't having it though, and made every single thing as difficult as possible as she could for me. Probably thinking because i look young, i can't afford to stay there, i really don't know, maybe she was just in a bad mood, but she definitely made it clear that I would need to put a 500 dollar cash deposit down on the room because the card that a paid for for the room was not the same exact name on my ID, was my middle name. Fair enough, i understand. When i asked where i can withdraw cash since i had none on me, she got even more irratated at me and rolled her eyes and told me theres an atm down the hall. The atm only lets you withdraw 200 bucks, so i was still 300 short, so my girlfriend put her card on file for the deposit just to get done with this aweful process. As we left, she gave us a condescending farewell and rolled her eyes again as we walked away. The rest of the evening was fine and the place and the room are beautiful, but the professionalism of a 4 start resort, was pitiful. Nothing about this place, other than the location itself, screamed hospitality. Best Western or extended stay have much more pleasant staff, and coming from the Supervisor, it really tainted my experience.

Overpriced for what you get, and lots of added fees. The room was dated and awkwardly laid out. The bed blocked half the doorway to the bedroom. The WiFi was unreliable, and the A/C wasn t working. And for Hilton Gold members, the free breakfast was just the cold continental, and it was an up charge for the full buffet. I ve never experienced this at any other Hilton property. All this for an extra $35/day resort fee on top of the high nightly rate. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

I went there for a work conference. I definitely want to go back for a vacation. My room was spacious and quiet. The staff was super helpful and friendly. And the facilities are beautiful.

Dinner was great. View was great. We had a party of 7 and sat outside. Couldn't ask for more. The food was plenty and tasty. Not over or under seasoned. Drinks could be better but we had a wonderful time. Restaurant week would be a great time to revisit.

Took the family for a staycation at the end of summer break. As with any of my Hilton branded stays,it did not disappoint. The many pools were the perfect temperature, the staff was very helpful. The room was large and inviting, big comfy beds, updated bathroom. Overall Avery nice room( although it could use a minor update) We were all pleased. Just a heads up , most of the rooms are located on a hill so expect a daily climb to your room.

Rooms are dated i get that its an old "iconic" property thats no excuse for the furniture and bed to be cheap and uncomfortable....next check in is at 4 and theyre falls pool closes at 8, not alot of time to settle in and relax at the pool however you are better off trying to go at night because during the day you can see how underwhelming and not resort quality this pool is, the water is yellow, there are tiles missing, the pool furniture is dated, and of course the one and only slide dosent open until 10 and check out it at 11...i really dont know what theyre doing with the 26+ dollar resort fee theyre charging. My recommendation would be to skip this place and go down the road to pointe hilton squaw peak, the pool and attractions are far better and the rooms are the same but the bed is more comfortable.

Magnificent resort with golf course, riding school and several pools. amplissime-conditioned rooms with large comfortable beds. There is a separate living room. Dual TV (in the room and the living room), Wi-Fi in the room, coffee maker, iron and ironing its axis. Bathroom equipped with hairdryer and toiletries. There is also a small balcony with chairs. In the hotel there is also a cash machine. Very Clean. Equipped with parking lots.

A great place to stay for a few days when you just want to get out of the house. The rooms are nice and cozy, they look much better inside than what's presented by the outside of the building. The amount of little pools across the complex is a nice thouch too, especially the sunset pool that overlooks the west for a great sunset view. I know this is a resort aimed towards slightly older people, but I'd enjoy a few more slides/etc around.

A virtual paradise overlooking the city. If you're looking for a place for a banquet or event the staff here is great. The food is delicious. Swimming pools, and recreation for the whole family.

at th price they get for th rooms ther shuld be a free breakfast and at least a place to buy any snacks or soda after 6pm!! theres NO VENDING MACHINES anywhere. most of th workers culdnt understand my english. stay away frm th main resturaunt- food is bland, too expensive, and small selection. i will not recommend nor will i ever go there again.

Would have rated it higher, however we have stayed at 2 other hotels (valley ho & Star pass resort) this month and they were much better rooms. The pools were full of debris from the palm trees and the bath tub spout was falling off the wall. Over all not a bad stay just little things that need improved. and updated.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! So, my journey to this pit of the earth began by them assigning me a room that can complete with no furniture and a painter who was painting the room. Next room had not been used in some time and the A/C was completely broken. Third room had mold on the baseboards and was adjacent to a room being renovated. Just as an FYI renovations at this "resort" start at 8am. So imagine trying to do a conference call with banging so loud that your customer is complaining about it. Forth room is so far from the conference center that they recommend I call for a shuttle. This place is a complete joke and should be avoided like the plague. Hilton should sell this property.
