The Marriott was very close to my college, and they host our orientation dance. The building and the ballroom were very nice and clean.

Nice room, perfect location. Excellent service. Excellent food.

Nice Hotel, clean rooms, awesome views, good restaurant and close to downtown.

The room was spacious and clean. The price was great.and so close to the ppg. We attended a concert there.

Great location and nice facilities for a meeting. The staff is really efficient and friendly. Our meeting planner could do a better job, but at least they pick great places like this to hold our meeting every year. Easy parking is right at the hotel and it's near to a lot of places.

Bar was a great spot for post-wedding drinks and a bite to eat

Very nice facility. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Food at public is exceptional with a fair craft beer selection. Centrally located, integrated parking a wee bit expensive.

Just the best!!!! Room was spacious. Club floor was excellent. And thankfully the heating system wasn't noisy. The staff from telephone operators to From Desk just made my stay a joy. Mr. Altunbis frm the Front Desk set the tone for my stay as I arrived at 10pm. His kindness and concern expresses why this hotel in Pittsburgh is the best. Will always come back as a guest.

We booked our room the night of through a third party site. When I found out I booked a single bed instead of two queens, I immediately called and tried to request a larger room. Unfortunately they were sold out but were more than willing to accommodate us with a foldout cot and a pullout couch.

After checking out I realized I left my flip flops. I called within the same day as checking out and left a message with Lost and Found. Initially I was frustrated that more than 24 hours had passed without hearing a reply so I called again, this time asking to speak with another department to help find my sandals. I even returned back to the hotel the following day to follow up with my missing flip flops since I hadn t heard back from either Lost and Found, nor housekeeping. I later received a follow up phone call stating they were not found. At this point I was just glad someone followed up, even though they weren t found. A couple hours later they called stating they were located and offered to mail them to me free of charge.

Although it was my mistake for forgetting them, I was impressed with the staff s follow up.

The hotel was in a great location and had a Starbucks attached. The room was clean and served its purpose. The staff (concierge and gentleman who delivered our linen) were polite and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel and want to thank the staff for helping me.

Great location to all of what downtown has to offer and a short walk to Duquesne University (5 mins).

Bar was busy with the pregame hockey crowd but the bartenders were nice and friendly regardless. Good service.

I am having my wedding here. They have been such a pleasure to deal with. Their package makes wedding arrangements a breeze! Fallon is very kind and great at her job! We are very excited and pleased with them.

Was a great hotel staff was okay but location prime. Originally they overcharged me two nights at check in including my reserved fee i had already paid but they corrected it after I asked them too.

Met friends for drinks and dinner before Pens game. Service was good although it was very packed in there, but that was expected.

The Dinner Detective is a fantastic show and lots of fun! The food and service was also outstanding.

The bar restaurant area is modern appears to be spacious and updated. Normally they are efficient.however on last visit I left having sparkling water only because they were short a cook. It was over an hour to be served. I have not returned.

Close to the PPG paint stadium and good reasonable rooms

Went to wedding here. Very nice staff, food and overall very nice experience!

Great spot to hang out after a Penguins game. Warm and restaurant in the lobby.

Had to make a last minute arrangement when my friends and I got locked out of our air BNB. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even in the early morning horse and got is a room quickly.

This hotel has just been remodeled and it looks great. All of the staff is tremendously friendly, always asking how they can assist you. The room had a great view of the city and we really enjoyed the meeting space. Everything you need and want in a hotel. Thank You

In all honesty, I only ran in to use the restroom. The place was nice though.

This is a nice full service Hotel. Make sure they do not put you underneath the room on the concierge level. It is extremely noisy. The room rates are good for such an upscale Hotel.

Had dinner at the lounge/restaurant before a cover. It was excellent. Service was quick, courteous, and knowledgeable, food was delicious, drinks were prefect and unique

Great hospitality, courteous staff, contemporary decor and ability to watch TV using your own streaming service. The on premises restaurant serves delectable food as well judging from room service.

Great location in center of town, the clerk checking us in was super friendly and really focused on me, the room is super clean (bathroom is a little small). Starbucks and nice little bar. Would definately stay here again!

Nice, clean place. Parking garage is confusing. We had a hard time trying to find the lobby from garage of all places lol walking distance to hockey rink. Roughly a 5 min walk to tram station.

I will start off with how disappointed my husband and I were with this recent stay. We booked a room and three days in advance called to ensure a microwave was sent up to the room upon check in for us because we brought several dinner options with us to cut down on eating out and to be somewhat healthy. They assured us this was no problem and that it would be sent up to the room the day of our arrival. We checked in around 1 pm and again made sure a microwave was sent up to the room at the front desk. They said it hadn't but that they would get on it. My husband and I unpacked and went out to enjoy Pittsburgh. We came back around 5:30 pm or so, ready for dinner and lo and behold, still no microwave. I called down to the front desk to see what the problem was and they again assured me they'd send one up. No biggie. I figured it would be up in 15 minutes or so. I was incorrect. I waited an extensive amount of time and had to call again to see what was the hold up. We only got the microwave a 7 pm. At this point we are starving and pretty peeved. But we figured, hey these things happen. Well, throughout our trip we encountered a very lackluster and dirty pool at this location (seriously didn't look like it had been cleaned in a week), an error with the parking garage accepting either of our cards (to the point where someone had to physically come outside and remedy the system, and generally a dirty-feeling room (with a rather unpleasant stench). Overall, the rooms were ridiculously expensive for few amenities one would expect from this caliber of a hotel. Unfortunately, we both agreed we will never stay at another Marriott again due to this extremely underwhelming experience. If you can, skip it altogether and go with Comfort Inn or any of the other similar hotels as they include complementary breakfast, many locations have clean and gorgeous pools, and the service is typically much better in my experience. To the Marriott in Pittsburgh City Center, I highly suggest you look into improving because you are not living up to the excessive hype revolving around your business. Mediocre should not be in your vocabulary.

Was here for a public event, was clean and seemed like a nice hotel.

We had some finger foods and drinks in the bar area after a pens game. It was nice, clean, and restrooms were very well kept!

Attended a work conference for 2 days. The room provided was spacious and comfortable. We were provided with breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack and all the food was healthy and delicious.

As Plat premier elite guest I will not stay at this property again. Here are my views:
- property is old and run down. Need badly a full rehab.
- elevators overloaded. Took 10 min to get outta there. Perhaps one one down.
- both mornings I awoke to shower that stated warm. Then turned frigid for several minutes. Eventually warmed up. Clearly something structurally wrong.
- concierge lounge is overcrowded and poorly attended. The breakfast quality was low. Really need to work on that to entice me back.

Will stay at Westin next time.

Absolutely wonderful setup, very good restaurants and convenient lunch buffet.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is excellent if you have business in the city! I would reccomend this location as a go to if you are staying in Pittsburgh.
The staff there made it a positively memorable experience.

This is the best Marriott I've ever stayed at. Carolyn in customer service is the best. If you need something they'll get it. The staff here puts customer service at the top of the ladder. The customer service has smiling faces and great attitudes here. Everyone seems to enjoy there work and I was smiled at and greeted by every staff member I met. It was a shocker to say the least because customer service has seemed to slide a pot over the last decade or so. But not here. The room was really nice. I had room service for dinner and it was fast and delicious. Chicken wrap, waffle fries and triple chocolate cake with ice cream. It was great. Stay here and you wont regret it. It's close to everything down town. Enjoyed my visit and I'll be back!!

I have been to many professional events at the Marriott. The conference rooms are really nice and the servicers for lunch/breakfast are very kind

Marriott is horrible,hands down,the HYATT is soooo much better, especially in Kissimmee FL

Usually hold events here. The space is large enough to hold conferences and weddings, or any other type of gathering. The food provided by the staff and hotel are also amazing they do not disappoint.

We went to the buffet at the restaurant. Selection wasn't great. Cupcakes were really good.

Rooms were clean and nicely sized. Nice bar downstairs.

The location is easily accessible. Check in was quick. The room was clean and well appointed. The only downside was the backed up traffic during check in times.
