Pittsburgh Marriott City Center Review

I spent the night with my wife in one of the junior suites. The room itself was nice and large, however I would have traded some room size for a larger bathroom. Also the thermostat in the room is right next to the heater/AC so the room temperature was never accurate. Finally, the concierge lounge uses powdered eggs which is just a waste of everyone's time.

Very friendly staff. Had a great experience and I'll definitely stay there the next time I'm in Pittsburgh business

The meeting rooms were at a comfortable temperature. The Starbucks in the lobby was very convenient, and the food at the Craft restaurant was delicious! Valet parking was a breeze, but pricey at $26. Overall a great experience!

The staff was very professional and interactive. The facilities were nice. I did however have a hard time finding the room I had my even in, but once I decided to ask a staff member they knew where I should go.

A great hotel, Exceptionally clean and fantastic customer service.. paying $22 dollars to park was only draw back.

Very nice ballroom. The only issue was the front desk worker took a long time to find our event in his paperwork in order to tell us where to go.

We booked here last minute for one night. The room is very clean, spotless in fact! The staff friendly and welcoming. Views from room also nice and coffee/tea, ice, and fridge available in rooms a nice. The location is a bit quiet as it s more in the financial/ business area but since the city is so walkable it s not too bad. Definitely a good choice for a clean, comfortable stay! Really appreciate the staff and hotel s attention to details and cleanliness especially during the pandemic. I wish I had taken more photos of the room but we checked in in a big hurry and I forgot, basic but large (corner) 11th floor room 1119 & spotless! Thank you for a great stay

Was here for a wedding! Drinks were a little pricey but the hotel was very nice and the location is perfect

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were awesome.

I attended the Dinner Detective show. It was a lot of fun and we laughed our way through the whole evening. The 4 stars is due to the food which was standard under seasoned, over cooked banquet type food. Totally worth checking out despite the food.

The restaurant needs to bring back the buffet, or add more options for entrees for dinner. The buffet was a wonderful option for dinner before hockey games.

Location is great, right in the heart of the city. Lots of things within walking distance.

I went for a work event. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Rooms are old, Air conditioning was bad. Breakfast was good. They charge you for parking per day!

Rooms are clean and basic. Feel nickel and dimed. $4 bottles of Fiji water in the room. $20 buffet breakfast. $18 per day parking. Starbucks has odd operating hours - not open at 3:45 on a Sunday afternoon. Nothing is complementary up charge for everything. Disappointing.

A wonderful experience! Great location and the room was nice and bed very comfortable, but it was the exceptional staff that was just fantastic! KAMILLE...was the best! Such a big help with information to us as this was our first visit to Pittsburgh! She was always such a pleasure and even had umbrellas for us when it rained! Thank you for a great experience!

Fantastically located hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh.

Great location, but everything else wasn't a good value for the money. No complimentary breakfast. Elevators were terribly slow. The bathroom was tiny and dated. The beds were old and uncomfortable. This hotel wouldn't be first choice if I visited again.

This hotel was excellent. It was very clean - looked new. The value was exceptional. Although I used points, the actual nightly rate was very reasonable considering how close to the city and shopping this hotel was. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The amount of shopping around the hotel was incredible.

They handled a very busy weekend masterfully. Very nice property, unless you're a smoker. The designated smoking area is a long haul.

The room was immaculate and the service was even better. The bellboys were the most helpful people we experienced in the whole city. Beyond that, the staff helping to host our event were as courteous and polite as anyone could be. My only issue was that parking was additional. There was no parking g provided with the room. The only option was valet or the public garage adjacent to the hotel.

Facilities are clean and modern. Staff are professional and mostly courteous. Some small gaffes (moving chairs/walls while a speaker was giving a talk) did interrupt our conference, though, and the services provided by the venue are a little underwhelming (water/coffee runs out and is not refilled for long periods of time).

I'm very dissapoint, I make my reservation since March 2017, I will be here for 5 night, I called today saying I will check out late and we came to check in, and they gave us the wrong room wrong size separate beds, they never asked me my AAA card or ID, saying this is the only one room that they have, now we need to be here in the hotel around noon to change room , which change all our plans for the wedding that we came. This is not the Marriott that use to be.

The employees at this hotel are A+++++ everyone is very friendly and foes above and beyond for their guests!

Very close to everything in town great for an event

Best staff of any Marriott I've ever been to.. over 50 of them. The food, is okay.

The elevators were extreamly slow, but other that that it was great. Everyone was so kind and everything went well.

I was delivering food to a guest of the marriot and was greeted very warmly by two separate staff member. I asked if I could have some tea from their complimentary tea decanter and the concierge said I could. The valets gave me no trouble for parking in the valet section

Better planning should have not put anyone directly next door to a room undergoing renovations. Hammering, Chiseling, and Grinding physically shook the room. Offered to switch rooms but checking out the next day. Comped lunch and starbucks.

I stopped by the hotel to eat in their restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is priced a little on the higher side but is worth every penny. While I wasn't there for breakfast, they do have a wonderful breakfast buffett.

Totally functional, standard hotel. Slept through most of my visit.

Rooms are a little dated and we had to request and microwave for the room. Nice facilities, staff is very friendly and helpful. Would be happy to stay here again.

Location is great for Pens game. Bed was really comfortable. TVs could use some updating and the bathrooms were a little small for what you would expect. Service staff was really friendly and helpful.

Very nice host for our InfoSec conference. Very good food and refreshments were very well maintained.
