Clean, fresh, new looking lobby and rooms, enthusiastically helpful staff, interesting options in the restaurant (buckets of fries... Literally). Perfect location to the city, and it wins the most points for the convenient, fully stocked coffee shop nearby.

I definitely think the reason this hotel is so expensive is because it is right next to PPG Paints Arena. That being said, that is why we stayed there as we were going to a Penguins game during our visit to Pittsburgh. Overall, it was a mediocre stay. We had to pay $20 event parking to park in the hotel garage, there was a $7 Wi-Fi fee which we did not pay and it was so busy and loud. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by reception but could barely hear him over the noise. This noise deterred me from asking the employee if parking was normally included for guests. The room was just ok. Didn't smell all too great but the sheets were clean. We did order room service for breakfast and the gentleman who delivered our food was very kind. Would probably only stay again if we were to attend another game.

Where do I begin? The hotel was having an issue with room doors accepting keys. Ok that's fine...except my room door was never fixed. Not to mention a member of the Marriott staff took my keys under the guise that he was going to get them reprogrammed but never returned. Now, I have no room keys and some man has access to my room and all my personal belongings and I don't Did I mention that every time I left I had to stop at the front desk just to be let into my room. Brad Sherrer, Thank You for the Ztrip. Concierges lied to me and told me I was the only room having a problem...untrue. Met a lady on the elevator who was having the same issue as me. Room phone didn't work and the hotel's number went straight to voicemail...wait what? No microwave in the room or on the floor at all and because the phones don't work I couldn't even call for one. I typically don't leave negative reviews because I understand the business but this was no way to spend New Year's Eve.

Reasonable accommodations at a reasonable price. We were disappointed that our room did not have a microwave which is challenging when traveling with a toddler. The room service breakfast was very good. The Steelhead Restaurant was an old favorite which is why we chose this hotel but it was closed. Crafted North was overpriced with very small portions.

6:00 AM waiting for coffee, no where to get coffee here, the Starbucks is being remodeled and there's no coffee in the lobby... I was told Chef is not in yet.
Closest place is a 15 minute walk.. 24 degrees out.
4 other guest hovering waiting. A new guest ask desk clerk for coffee..... desk clerk looks at me and says... "sir. Coffee is not ready yet"... I'm sitting 20 feet away in lobby couch.... I am a Marriott loyal... first time at this Marriott. Poor service.

Our family stayed there for the weekend to attend a Steelers game. We stayed out by the airport so we used the Marriott as the rally point. Saturday night we had drinks and played cards at the bar downstairs. It was reasonably priced and the service was good. Their rooms were nice and big.

I stayed at the Pittsburgh Marriott for a friend's wedding. The event space was beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the food was delicious, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on away from home.

Great location for hockey game and amazingly friendly staff. Most helpful I can remember at any hotel. The bar is good with good food. Downside is elevators can get backed up - I had to wait 10 minutes two different times to get to my room. Rooms are a little tired - could use an update.

Nice

Great service! Great room! Quiet! Lacy the bartender and server was fantastic, all people in life should be that helpful and polite. Food was great! The only Hotel I'll ever stay at in Pittsburgh.

All of the staff were more than willing to help! We were handed drinks when checking in and umbrellas when we were headed out. Only down side was our previous ordered breakfast was an hour late but they comped it. One of the best stays we've ever had in Pittsburgh.

great

I came here with my family needed paid for 2 rooms and asked for adjoining rooms and was told they could not offer us that which I found out that they do over it and am very disappointed in my experience and stay here

I was a little nervous staying at a hotel different from the conference venue but it ended up being a great decision. I was well taken care of and the room was always clean when I returned at the end of the day. It was a very relaxing experience.
