I was there attending a business conference and only stayed for a few hours. The layout was very conducive for the conference, the food was great and everything went smoothly with the IT portion of the conference. The guests who stayed overnight were pleased about the accommodation too

Staff was great. Front desk gentleman, I believe Ben, was very helpful, welcoming, and everyone at desk was attentive to my needs after a long trip in car. Small issue with TV was taken care of right away. They addressed everything with urgency and professionalism. Room clean, everything inside hotel easily accessible.

Without a doubt, one of the best staffs I've ever ran into at a hotel. We were in the middle of the covid-19 , but the staff bent over backwards to accommodate our situation. Specifically Becky and Kimi Finnigan went above and beyond the Call of Duty help us. We were there for a wedding that got totally disrupted. The staff did everything they could make the situation palatable. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are going to be in Pittsburgh.

I would not Recommend anyone stay at this hotel!!! I forgot an item that was given to me by my daughter as a Christmas present. I had actual video of where this item was in my room, but no one can find it. I know without a doubt that one on the housekeepers took it. I ve called for the last couple days trying to get answers and all they do is pass you from department to department. All I can say is look over your room really good before you leave because if you leave anything you definitely won t be getting it back!!!!

Great service. Very chaotic. Every time I've been here the staff have been great, but its always difficult at registration, the restaurant and bar are always full (and no other great options nearby) and its just plain rowdy. Rooms are nice - good size and well maintained. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the chaos. It really takes away from the quality of the property.

We were in Pittsburgh for the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships and needed a place to eat dinner close to the PPG Paint Arena so decided to have dinner at the Marriott. The dining room staff was so overwhelmed by the huge crowd that we were only allowed to eat at the buffet. The food was TERRIBLE, and we were very disappointed! I think the staff needed a better plan to feed such a large group.

Room is out dated. The room service closes at 12am each day and they will not allow delivery up the room. I ask for concierge or security to escort or either bring the delivery and their team refused. It s 1:14am... I can understand the security measures but there should be a flexibility from the staff. The check in host was friendly. I m a gold member at Marriott so this is disappointing

Location was just off the highway, making it easy to access but annoying if you miss the turn off. They had really great service, even when I asked for a lot of things. Certain things, like WiFi I expected to be complimentary but it needed to be paid for. They did follow up questions after we booked, if we had any preferences for room situation and extra commodities. However, nothing we asked for wasn't included. They did hurry to accommodate for us when we asked. Would come back.
Breakfast not included.
Parking valet was expensive. The parking lot around the corner was much cheaper. That or street parking

Almost everything about our stay here was picture perfect. Clean room, friendly staff, great hotel bar and restaurant. However, the hotel refusal to let hotel guests use the stairs to return to their rooms after a nearby penguins game is disturbing and disappointing. I would rethink staying here a second time for this reason alone.

Good hotel.

Good hotel.
Very busy and very popular especially when there are sporting events nearby.

A+++

It's a love-hate relationship. I deliver here but the girls usually speak English with a heavy accent but I LOVE the fact that they speak other languages, probably because there are a lot of people who come here from around the world. However, when I ask them simple questions in English it may be very hard for them to understand as well as I have understanding their accent.

Nice

Visited the hot to look at convention facilities. Hotel has a lot to offer the space was nice has weird pillars in the room we were looking at. Carpet feels a little outdated. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm giving it 4 stars as of now. Staff is 5 star. Concierge and concierge staff is 5 star. Rooms are very nice but a tad outdated. Great location right across the street from the hockey arena. The hotel is not facing the downtown properly to get great views of the city itself.

Good hotel, like a standard Marriott brand. Excellent staff and service. They take time and effort to look into your interests and well being. I was unwell and multiple staff members took time to help and check on me. Neat and clean hotel and decent ambience.

I've stayed in dozens of Marriotts and this one BY FAR has the best staff. I stayed 5 nights and was there for the UFC fights but also took in a Penguin game. From the desk, to the valet, housekeeping, bar/restaurant, management they are FIRST CLASS all the way.

Corporate Marriott could use this hotel as a training center for staff that's how good they are!

The best thing about this Marriott is that it's about a 7-8 minutes walk from the convention center and not expensive relative to establishments in the area adjacent to the convention halls. There's also a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 5-minutes drive. It also has a heated, indoor swimming pool, which is rare. There are ample number of restaurants around the area.
