Service was excellent from the time I walked in. They said hello and welcome and showed me to the meeting room I was looking for. Meeting room was well decorated, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely splendid service, especially for the price I received in relation to its location. I used Priceline and got a great deal. I arrived 2 hours before their standard check-in time and they allowed me to check in early with a smile. Place was clean and had a beautiful view. Staff was kind and no complaints. They even held my bag for a few hours after check out, which was nice because I had 100lbs of stuff in two duffels. Felt I owed them a decent review for the price I received. Would most definitely stay again.

I attended for a professional event. The conference room was clean and the facilities were nice and well kept. The parking garage was under construction, but there was plenty of room even with it partially blocked off

Nice hotel, price midweek wasn't bad. Literally across street from PPG Arena, so this was awesome for an concert. Only bummer was they close the bar at midnight...food at the bar/restaurant is really good though!

Good hotel. Great location. The rooms were very nice and we enjoyed the bar and dining options. It was very busy when we were there though and the elevators were crazy slow. We wound up figuring a way down the stairs.

Here for a week. Nice hotel, close to almost everything. The best part of this hotel is the staff! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Fantastic service! The onsite restaurant has great food. Highly recommended!

So far, the room has been very nice, and the staff helpful and patient. My biggest complaint is about waiting for the elevator, but that's only taking so long because we have a conference in the hotel.

Attended a training seminar. Facilities were accommodating. There were tables and chairs in rows facing the speaker. Tables always make a long training session more tolerable than just sitting in a chair. Lunch was served quickly and was good though pizza was a little cold.

Very disappointed in our stay at this Marriott. We requested a room with double beds & a crib. When we arrived, we were told there was only ONE room left in the entire hotel & it was a king room. The crib - pack & play - was NOT in the room yet & we had to have a rollaway bed brought in for our son. It was after midnight, so everyone was tired & frustrated that we couldn t just crash after a LONG drive. Our room was also located right beside the elevator, so that was fun! The staff was accommodating, despite their lack of preparation for our visit. They discounted our room & have us access to the concierge lounge, which provided our family with breakfast each day of our stay. We switched rooms the following day, but it was nothing to write home about either. The rooms are very dated. The sinks are some kind of old green marble. The floors were mismatched Granite squares (I guess some broke over time) & they had old, dingy bathtubs. We spent most of our time seeing the city, so it was all fine at the end of the day. The manager did her best to make it better. It s no fault of the staff that the hotel is run down & not what I expect from a Marriott in the heart of a major city. The rooms were almost $300 a night, with parking. For that rate, the hotel should have much nicer amenities, more attention to detail & better service - like having the crib in the room before we checked in. We stayed at 2 other hotels during this trip & both had a crib or pack & play in the room when we arrived & both other rooms had the double beds we needed. We are loyal Marriott members, but am considering a switch to SPG primarily after staying at Aloft during our trip.

The hotel is very nice. The room felt a little small (especially the bathroom where you can't move the door without hitting your knees on the toilet). That said, they had some really cool features like the ability to stream internet TV. The location is pretty central but there isn't much directly around the hotel. Area can get really crowded if there is a hockey game as its right across from the arena.

What a beautiful hotel! First time here. Attended a one day conference. Very comfortable and an enjoyable day. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great! Want to go back and stay!

Wow. The service here is really, really good.

Most of my reviews are based on my experience relative to my expectations and the value that you get.

This hotel has exceeded expectations every time I have been to Pittsburgh. I have to travel here about once per month and this is now my go-to hotel.

Bill Jasper is the best valet driver I have ever had. Period. He is always friendly, welcoming and genuinely personable. It's a really great way to be welcomed when you arrive.

Brad has helped me with my luggage twice and he is a phenomenal team member here, as well. He is also the most friendly and personable Marriott rep to help me with luggage. Again, it makes arriving after a very long drive much better.

Whatever these two gentlemen are being paid, I guarantee that it's not enough. I have only ever received this level of service from the very best hotels I have every visited in my lifetime. Both of these guys are seriously top notch.

Beyond the great service, the location is much easier to get in and out of than the other properties that I have tried and it's an easy ride-share to anywhere downtown.

Last, but certainly not least... there is a legit starbucks attached to the lobby. This is not the knock-off second-rate "we brew starbucks... but we aren't an actual starbucks". This is a legit, real starbucks, right on the ground floor.

Awesome hotel for Pittsburgh.
