My complete roof was done by Pinnacle in a timely professional manner. With rain pending, the crew work very hard to complete it and they did. I retired as a carpenter and I never had to bird dog this crew. They new exactly what to do and did it according to the contract. The installers were Equadorian and as far as I'm concerned, the American workforce could take a lesson on efficiency from these men.

The folks at Pinnacle were great right from the get go. I got several estimates for the roof and they were right in the middle price wise, and proposed things that the other companies did not such as replacing our bathroom fan vent, dormer fascia, and splicing the cast iron vent stack pipe with pvc. They scheduled me quickly, and the got the entire job done in a day including a thorough cleanup of all debris.

Finding a roofing company in the area of Stamford, NY is not an easy ordeal. A neighbor recommended Pinnacle. He dealt with them 10 years earlier on a large commercial job, a nursing home in Stamford. Point of contact then was Chris.
I called Pinnacle and was warmly greeted by Sash. She took all my contact info and answered the few questions I had. Alex contacted me a few hours later and we set up an appointment. All of this was done during the pandemic. Alex spent almost 2 hours walking the roofs, a large house and 2 detached garages totaling 69 squares of roofing. He took photos inside and outside, discussed all aspects and options for ridge vents, drip edge, ice and water shield, and underlayment. The only thing that was predetermined was that I wanted Owens Corning shingles. A perfect representation. When the job was done Sash even registered my roof with Owens Corning for me.
On the start date, a month later due to my schedule, a team led by Lamont Taylor arrived. The 3 buildings were done over 3 days with 1 rain delay in between. Total ripoff, re-shingle, and cleanup was perfect. Could not go any better. The attention to detail was impeccable. Lamont personally installed custom flashing around 2 chimneys. He explain in great detail all aspects of the job to me and answered all my questions. Special consideration was even given to vent pipes and utility masts that went through the roof. This team covered all the bases.

Pinnacle was professional from the start to the finish. During the estimate, Dave, first wanted to check the trusses in the attic, stating he wanted to make sure the roof supports were sufficient. Since no one else looked there at all I was impressed they were that detail oriented and this is how I found every step from start to finish during the roof replacement process when dealing with Pinnacle. I felt their price was fair and would highly recommend them.

They never provided promised Firestone warranties on either roof for my $30,000 and did not finish on time. They did not repair most roof leaks on the larger roof for my $12,500. They did not make copies of signed contracts; had to take photos of them as my copy. They left a mess that the electricians cleaned up at $85/Hr. They broke up chimney and put pieces down the flu of my oil boiler which is now beyond repair. They left a dock door propped open for months making building insecure.

Pinnacle roofing came to replace my roof mangled by another company. It was a dual surface roof. Shingles and rubber as the back addition has a low pitch roof. I could not have asked for a better group of guys. They worked like a well oiled machine. Everything was protected with tarps and picked up as they worked. Everyone was courteous and the leads kept me updated with progress and photos. Exceptional work ethic was shown by everyone from the persons assigned to clean up to the skilled craftsmen on the rubber section. They treated my home like it was their home and they really were proud of their work. In all of my years of having work done to my property, this is the first time I have not had to go behind and clean. If you need roof work done, I highly recommend these guys. I seldom leave reviews but these guys knocked it out of the park. Exceeded expectations.

As a first time home buyer, part of our learning and buying experience was having the roof of our now purchased home inspected by a qualified roofing contractor/inspector after it showed up as an potantial problem item on our pre-purchase inspection. Dave M from Pinnacle came out and inspected the roof on a recommendation, and was instrumental in helping with the information needed to assist in our negotiations. We learned more about roofs and the trade in a few conversations with him than we had previously known. It's my firm belief that a successful service business is marked by people that serve and teach, not just sell and/or install a product. That was our experience with Pinnacle. To make a long story short, the roof-over installed previously on the home (not good to begin with!) was done with what's known as an IKO "organic" shingle...do a quick Google search and find out what comes up as the top results. You won't be disappointed. Dave drew us up an estimate, worked with us on the budget we had to work with, and squeezed us into their production schedule. Rich, our job's foreman from Pinnacle (who was very pleasant, helpful, and informative), and the crew showed up on time as promised and worked efficiently and professionally; our warrantied Owens-Corning roof was installed in about 8 hours' time. My wife and I are very pleased with this experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality replacement roof. The cheapest? No, but you do get what you pay for and we would not change our decision to use Pinnacle Roofing.
If their roofing quality is anything like their driving, I would look elsewhere. When you drive a vehicle that is marketing the company, it would behoove you to drive responsibly. An employee driving a company vehicle down the Northway (I-87) on 4/28 around 7:45, was driving extremely aggressively. Tailgating multiple vehicles and appeared to be in a rush. Not cool and a poor representation of the Company.

I don't often write reviews, but, I figured this was well worth it. After the 70 MPH gusts a few weeks back, I had lost some shingles. I called five different roofing companies, and no one but David from Pinnacle got back to me.
David came out when he said he would, and was the only roofer that came and went up on the roof. He took a ton of pictures, uploaded them, and sent me a detailed estimate and explained every picture and the estimate to me so I could fully understand what was happening. My roof was older, and I knew it needed to be replaced, David confirmed that.
He answered every single question professionally, and was lightning fast on his responses. He even helped compare some of my other quotes (I got 4 in total) and just really seemed to want what was best for my home. He didn't talk down about any other company.
I will say this, for the 4 quotes I got, Pinnacle was not the most expensive. It was the second cheapest, and they were barely more than what the lowest quote was. Combine that with the incredible customer service, it made spending the small extra seem well worth it.
The crew came out when they said they would. They were done within the day, and the entire job was cleaned up and finished by 5:30. The foreman, John, was great to talk to. He explained everything in detail that had to be done, what the scope was once they got the shingles off, and he didn't surprise me with anything out of the ordinary or extra charges.
The clean up was fast, and well done, and on top of that, while they were up on the roof they fixed a few pieces of siding that had been knocked loose by the wind. I really can't complain about anything. I'm definitely a pain homeowner, and am very VERY particular. Pinnacle made me feel at ease, and they did a nice job. I will certainly recommend them to everyone I know without question. I see now why they are one of the biggest roofers around the area and why I see their signage on most of the new commercial properties popping up all over Schenectady county.
Edit: Update - had two friends get a roof from pinnacle after I told them about it. They did an awesome job, and they were super happy.
I also sold my house recently and the buyer was thrilled with the Quality and said my new roof and warranty that can transfer with it was one of the biggest pushes toward my house.
Pinnacle Roofing was very professional in fixing a leak in my home's roof. When the leak appeared after the first repair they quickly returned to address the problem and successfully fixed the roof. Covid safety recommendations were followed at all times. (I have no way of judging the quality or good value.)
Regarding Tom Hamilton's review. The property in question is a building in the old Naval Storage facility on Rt. 5. We continually told him it needed a new roof but he insisted that we just make repairs. He lives in California and was never present for board meetings, inspections, decisions. We attended in his absence. When he was here he actually spent his nights at one of our foreman's houses. The issues he mentioned were already present (and shown to him) prior to us accepting the task. No debris was left by us and cleaned up by an electrician. The door in question was structurally unsound and always an issue to the point that I did not allow my team to try and access the building via these means. Tom made a horrendous investment and has perpetually tried to blame others for his mistake. Look at our ratings on Angie's list, BBB, and and the fact that Owens Corning has given us their highest rating; Platinum Preferred. As far as the warranty is concerned we told him it was impossible without replacing the entire roof. What company of Firestone's stature would warranty patches over a roof of unknown origin?

We did get a lower quote from another company....but that was based off of their "inspection" which was basically just a guy glancing at the roof from a couple different angles
When the representative from Pinnacle came, he got UP ON the roof in multiple spots and went into our attic to get a look at what our real problem spots were and how our shingles were laid. Needless to say, we trusted their assessment a lot more and felt sure there would be no surprises. After working out our financing with Pinnacle, we were put on their schedule for just a couple of weeks out.
The day of the job was definitely hectic, there was a lot they had to do. I really appreciated that the job supervisor took the initiative to speak to a neighbor about moving her car and also to let our nextdoor neighbors know that some debris might land on their side of the fence but that it would all be cleaned up. And it was, I checked at the end of the night to be sure...in fact, even our neighbors thought the company was very professional.
The roofers were also very understanding when I had to run an errand, stopping their work for me to get out and then back into the house (I made sure to come back with donuts as a thank you ).
Because our whole roof had to be replaced, we thought it'd take two to three days but they were done a bit after 6pm that same day! I'm telling you, they're amazing.
There was one or two nails and a few bits of old roof that had escaped cleanup, a minimal amount that I found while I was raking, but if you're expecting anything less then you're kidding yourself. I was very impressed by their work and even the office staff I dealt with was awesome. I 100% recommend Pinnacle Roofing to anyone (and everyone) looking.

We had a great experience with Pinnacle Roofing. The owner personally came over and met with us and described the different roofing products that they recommend. The quality of the work was beyond our expectations. They had our old roof removed by 11am and the new roof installed by 4 pm all in the same day. That included new fascia and removal of an old attic fan. The owner and his supervisor we on-site the entire day. Most important was the attention to detail and the level of security for the crew. The Crew arrived on time and completed the entire old roof removal and replacement within 9 hours which includes a lunch break. Also 3 skylights were replaced in that time frame. Had experienced some non-emergency high wind damage resulting in the loss of several ridge cap shingles. Called on a Monday afternoon (and was pleased to talk with a real person not an answering machine.) Received a very prompt, reasonable estimate, and as a result decided to go ahead and replace the entire ridge cap. First thing that Wednesday AM, Mike arrived on site and performed the replacement work. He did a fine job - and was a great representative of their company. After getting my new roof it is clear to me that Pinnacle Roofing is an incredibly well led organization. The quality of the roof itself, the way it looks and the incredible warranty, is only a part of the overall amazing experience. I first met with Dave Morse and he helped us understand how the insurance process worked, arranged to have temporary measures installed (we had wind damage), educated my wife and I about our roofing options, and helped us make an informed decision. Our project was delayed on account of the COVID-19 crisis and construction being shut down. During that time the owner, Chris LaVallee, sent out weekly updates. When construction was able to resume, I received a call from Rob to let me know when the project could resume. Ultimately, Anthony Vanderwarker was the lead guy at the site with the roofing crew and giving us an incredible customer experience. My point is that the communication and execution on the big and little things was flawless. Anthony's leadership showed real concern for making sure the old roofing shingles didn't leave marks on the stamped concrete or pool gazebo around the house. He meticulously combed the property to make sure there was no construction debris or nails in the yard. He even offered to paint our chimney to match the new roof shingle color! Pinnacle Roofing is a rare company because they anticipate potential issues I would not even have thought of and have a process to make sure they can surpass any customer's expectations.

Decided to replace a 15+ year old roof due to some leaks and poor practices when originally installed. Contacted multiple businesses for quotes; Pinnacle was not the least expensive, but their sales rep got here quickly, was professional and respectful, had a good deal of knowledge of available products and ultimately sold me on their high quality products. The installation was scheduled relatively quickly, but was slightly delayed due to COVID-19. The install team was FAST and really effective. Cleanup was good, but I did find about 100 nails and staples after the fact, but I think that's pretty common after a roof replacement. I did have to have a repair team back after a heavy rainfall to fix a small leak in the chimney, but they showed up the next day and took care of it quickly. Overall I think they did a great job and I am very glad I choose Pinnacle.

UPDATE-During one of our recent wind storms. I had a section of my soffit blown open. It was at a place I couldn't get to. I tried calling a couple local people to no avail. Someone suggested calling the people that did my roof and see if they could help. I emailed Dave Morse at Pinnacle and within 36 hours Mike and the owner's son stopped over, first thing in the morning, and repaired the soffit for me. I can't say enough on how good and caring this company is. I have recommended them to several friends and co-workers.

After a bad experience with a general contractor a couple years ago I was really cautious and anxious about finding a quality company to do our roof. I did my homework this time, researched a ton of local roofing companies, contacted 6 and received estimates from 5. Bob was amazing! He met with us twice, went over every detailed, and listened to all my concerns and questions with an unending patience. Pinnacle roofing does a complete roofing assessment (unlike some other roofers I had to practically drag up to see our attic). Bob looked on top of and underneath every part of our roof. He took in to account things like ventilation that other roofing companies did not even consider. I also appreciate their competence in working with older homes. The roof of our 1927 house is fairly complex with multiple different peaks, a dormer, and a history of additions. The cost of the quote we received from Pinnacle was right in the middle (there were 2 cheaper ones and 2 more expensive). The peace of mind we get knowing we are working with an honest, fair, professional, and top quality roofer is wonderful.

This positive review is a bit premature because our roofing project isn t scheduled to be done until spring of 2020, but I just have to share with others our recent experience with Pinnacle Roofing. Before I begin, let me say that I am a true believer that the success of any business starts with employees who love what they do, they are knowledgeable about the products they sell, they are honest, and they don t promise what cannot be delivered. Your Sales Representative Mr. David Morse is one of those people. He is professional, friendly, straightforward, and extremely courteous. He even took his shoes off at the front door before walking in the house! Of course he didn t have to do that, but it just demonstrated how respectful he was to us and our home. That alone impressed the heck out of me! David took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns, and he spent as much time with us as we needed. He provided the comfort and security we were looking for in a roofing company and he made us feel that our upcoming project is just as important to him as it is to us. Alex was the only one of the three roofers we contacted who went up on the roof and into the attic. He discovered issued we would not have known about otherwise. Pinnacle was on time, reroofed our home in one day and 2 additional hours, and cleaned up. We'd recommend them to anyone.
From start to finish, Pinnacle roofing was easy to work with, professional, and respectful to us and our property.
Alex was our initial contact. He showed up on-time and with a complete packet of literature containing insurance information, options for shingle types + samples, moisture barrier and ice shield samples, attic venting (none pre-existing) information, replacement bathroom exhaust vent options, extended warranty info, and more.
He inspected our old roof thoroughly while taking notes and detailed photographs. He then took the time to go into our attic to examine the condition of our roof sheathing as well as the insulation to ensure proper attic ventilation could be achieved without additional work needed.
When everything was done he made some recommendations, sent us the images he took, took notes on options we wanted (or didn't) and had a quote back to us the same day.
We went back and forth over the phone on a few details but agreed. Alex said they'd call to setup the install when weather/temperature permitted... and they did. First week of warm weather for the year and we had our install date locked in.
Dominick, the project manager, and his crew of half a dozen + guys, showed up (again, on time) and began the work. They carefully placed tarps to protect the lawn, netting to keep debris away from the house and landscaping, plywood to protect our stairs, and had the old roof shingles off in what felt like an hour.
Dominick checked-in throughout the day to make sure we were happy with the work being done, to update us if they found a piece of sheathing that had to be replaced, and to keep us informed on the progress overall.
At 7:15am the job started. By 3:45pm the same day they were cleaning up the property.
Dominick and the roofers walked the yard and picked up all the debris they could find. They then 'raked' the lawn with magnetic lawn sweeper to triple check there were no nails left behind. It's been a few days since the install and we haven't found a single nail or piece of debris from when they were here.
Several neighbors have commented about how great it looks. One got Dominick's business card after watching the work get done throughout the day. Another took a photo of the lawn sign in front. So I expect to see these guys back in this neighborhood soon.
All-in-all we couldn't be happier. Fair price, top quality work, and very respectful group of people.
From the moment Alex came to meet with us, and give us our estimate until the day after all the work was done, we enjoyed our interaction and the thorough follow through of the entire Pinnacle team. Everyone was helpful and in constant communication with us throughout the process, making us feel very confident in choosing Pinnacle over any other roofing company. We even asked them to come by one more time a couple days later with the big magnet to go over our lawn for nails, just incase (with kids and a dog, you can't be too careful) and they didn't hesitate. We love everything about our new roof and our replaced skylights with the automatic shades. I don't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a roof. I left for work at 7:30am and they were cleaning up and finished by the time I got home at 6. Dependable, quick, friendly and high quality. Thank you to your entire team!
I had a great experience with Pinnacle roofing. I needed to get my roof replaced in the late winter months to get the house ready for sale. Pinnacle was the only company that sent somebody to take a look at the roof and give me a free estimate in very short notice. Some of the other roofing companies I talked to said they were going to charge me for an estimate because I was selling the house while others did not even bother getting back to me with a quote. David Morse did an excellent job taking pictures of my roof and pointing out exactly what was wrong with it. Pinnacle did the job as soon as the weather allowed it. Overall I am very happy with the service I received even though I ended up paying a bit of a premium on the pricing.
My experience started with David. He came out and gave us a very thorough inspection and a detailed proposal. He wanted to be there when the insurance company came out and discuss scope of work, etc. He was patient and explained very well what needed to be done and why. He was available for any questions at all hours via text and call. The day of the install, we had Lamont, the best roofer on the planet, and his team here. They had it done and cleaned up in 1 day! The quality of the work is excellent and we could not be any happier! I would hire them again in a heartbeat! We are proud to be a Pinnacle Family!! Many many thanks from a very satisfied family!!!
Right from the start, we had great communication with Pinnacle. We met with Alex for a free estimate and he was wonderful to talk to. Afterwards, whenever we had a question, or asked for advice, he got back to us right away. After getting a few other estimates from other companies, we chose Pinnacle. In June, Pinnacle arrived to install our new roof. Anthony and his team were amazing. They did such a great job with our roof and the cleanup was down to a science. Working with Pinnacle roofing was a great experience. We felt like we were being treated like family. It was a painless day for a whole roof repair. We have an oddly sloped roof so we were told to go with rubber. We already notice a difference after the first rain. It's fantastic. Everyone was professional, got right to work, cleaned up pretty well. Found one large nail in the garage but that's it. With two little kids in the house, they were sensitive when we wanted to leave to go for a walk and told everyone in the area to pause work until we left. Overall fantastic experience.
