We had fish & chips, chicken tenders and prime rib. The fish was haddock with a tasty batter. The beef was cooked perfectly. Very tasty garlic mashed potatoes. The wait staff were very good and the prices great. Definitely going back.

My wife and I love this place. It's not fancy, but you get more than your money's worth. They run some really good specials and you won't be disappointed ordering off the menu either. My favorites are their fish tacos and the fried haddock dinner. My wife really enjoys their huevo rancheros and the lobster bisque. There is no shortage of lobster in their bisque and probably the best in the state. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong. If there was one criticism I would say their dinner plate pancakes can be a little dry and burnt on the edges at times, but not always.

Great place to eat. It is casual, picnic tables, cozy, food is simple and good. Sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips and lobster rolls. Soups and chowders are also available.
Last night we had lobster bisque and lobster rolls. Both were very good and very reasonably priced. Total came to $40 and that included tip.
Staff is very friendly.
Only problem, it's not not close enough to where I live.
An all around good place to eat if you're looking for casual and good food at reasonable prices.

The foods good and workers are friendly but the owner doesn't seem to know how to properly run a restaurant. I know many people that have worked in restaurants before this one and were told that it just "wasn't working out" they seem to have new staff ever week. The owner demanding of her employees and when not around an older waitress is demanding and straight up rude to other employees in front of customers. There are many things that you would probably think is a health code violation like unused straws get put back, and all unused butter gets put back. The Glasses are cleaned very quickly and what seems like too fast. They are scrubbed in soapy water for 5 seconds then dunked in hot water then dunked in a water that is blue and then left to dry. The plates when served are normally too hot to touch and are left to cool down so that by the time people get there food it is either old or the person carrying the food just got burned.

This place was amazing. A single pancake was huge about 20" in diameter. 2 of these fed a family of 2 adults, 2 teens, and four children. Prices were very reasonable! Service was exceptional. This place will be a family favorite.

First time eating there. Definitely considering going back if in the area. Good variety of food choices. Breakfast options available till 2p. Picnic tables to eat at if staying there. Prices respectable to a chain restaurant. Only downside is no kids menu (at least what I saw). Recommend by all in my family (wife & 5 year old daughter).

Went on Sunday expecting full seafood menu as advertised on their out-dated website. Found they are serving 'breakfast only' on Sundays. Stupid. Brewmaster's Tavern five minutes up the road has a breakfast buffet for five bucks. So all the foodies reading the great reviews of their seafood will head there on Sundays only to be disappointed.
Self-defeating and absurd decision on their part. Won't be back.

The owners have great visual aesthetics, evidenced by the interior, the artwork, and even the plating of the food. With such a great setup, the just-okay taste of the food disappoints more keenly.

First visit: Lovely plate, but too much hollandaise sauce, drowning out the other elements of eggs benedict. Hollandaise should be more tart to satisfy my taste.

Second visit: Beautiful, 16-inch blueberry pancake tastefully overflows plate, but tastes dull and is too much for one person. Bacon is good but slightly overcooked. Having just experienced perfect bacon at Sonny's Diner in Waterville, Maine, I know better what I'm looking for!

Food was okay, service not so good. There was three other tables that had customers. All had there food, it took ten minutes for her to come over then another five minutes or so to bring us one coffee, one apple juice and one chocolate milk. Very slow service food was okay not very hot. Probably won't stop again.

When it comes to breakfast the Williamsburg snack bar has the big three, reasonable prices, quality, and ample portions. Coffee's good. Well staffed, fast service. Wow, I just described the perfect breakfast joint.
