COCOMERO FROZEN YOGURT/ Spoonhouse Korean Restaurant Review

It was delicious! We don't get to Decatur very often and always make it a point to stop there when we are ready to head home. It is such a cute, colorful place!

The frozen yogurt is great! I like the Taro, personally. The Korean food is also delicious... My 2 year old loves the chicken dumplings!

I was in South Korea for a month. This is the best Korean food I have had since..and most don't even know they serve it. Makes it twice as much fun.

After living close to the Forsyth location since it opened, I'd grown accustomed to the high quality of menu items there. Upon moving to Champaign where there is a Cocomero close to campus, I naturally expected the same high-quality service and items I received in my hometown. I was disappointed, to say the least. I said all of that to say that this place is the best! It is always clean and there is a wide variety of menu options. It's not your typical froyo shop. You can get lunch, dinner, AND dessert. I'd recommend the Bulgogi to anyone. And the bubble tea is to die for. They use fresh fruit, not flavoring syrups or powders. I always leave happy when I visit. The owners are awesome. If you're considering trying this place, you will not be disappointed. Go for it!

A very clean and welcoming place. Lots of the usual and not so usual froyo flavors and mix-ins. They also have other sweets and snack items for sale like sushi. The play area for the kids is pretty impressive too.

Place is very clean. Got an orange smoothie great taste. Did not know they had Korean food will try next time.

Took some of the clients on an outing with staff from our job to eat ice cream & enjoy themselves, & one of the clients was starting to yell & scream so i took them outside for a walk the cashier there gave us a dirty look he went & got the other employee as we were leaving out & they were of no assistance they just stared at us & it wasnt wheelchair accessible so it was hard to get them out...employees were rude & started talking in their language to each other so we all just decided to leave.. clients were uncomfortable & so were we!! horrible experience!!! Very rude definitely dont have to worry about family or friends eating their ever again!!!

This is like an oasis in the desert. Really a gem in the rubble. If you re in the mood for good Korean food theres nothing else that could compare within a 40 minute drive.

Stopped to get frozen yogurt for my daughter, and ended up getting the honey bread to take to my wife. Takes awhile, but it is amazing! I can't wait to try the rest of the food! Great service, great employees.

Didn't know they served great food as well as frozen yogurt smoothies. It was Japanese I believe and it was awesome. The smoothie I enjoyed while driving home. Ate the lunch at once when I got home and it was delicious. I'll be going back for sure.

Good service. Boba was more like a fruit slush. Tasted a bit artificial and sweet, but tapioca was good. I also got tteokbokki on a whim. It was pricey for not too much, but tasted pretty good.

This place is much more than frozen yogurt. They have sushi, rice bowls, steam baskets, noodles, bibibop and more! I would give them 5+ stars if possible

I absolutely love this store. It's inviting and cozy. Family friendly and they offer a variety of not just a sweet treat, but they are inviting children and families into another culture. I love everything about this lovely shop. My coworkers and I have enjoyed sharing this place with each other and even our own customers at our restaurant.

I was born in Japan and from 2 years old I grew up in Florida, visited small farming towns in Illinois all my life, traveled to a lot of different states and countries. Being from a military town and a tourist destination, I've experienced a lot of different people and cultures. Perspective and experience are so very important and I love that this store is so welcoming and especially that it's a safe, warm place for children and adults alike. <3

Incredibly delicious, and wonderful to try of you're vegetarian or new to Korean dishes. The fruit is fresh, the tofu is flavorful, and the hot taro bubble tea is perfect on a rainy day. I love Cocomero, the employees are kind and helpful! :)

outstanding service, fun interactive games and a playhouse for kids, and best of all, great food! Not only is there just fro-yo and ice cream, but a plentiful selection of Korean and Japanese cuisine.

Cocomero is a great restaurant. The food is amazing and I'm in love with the cotton candy frozen yogurt. My fiance and I will be back soon.

More than froyo, they serve unique drinks and desserts (Honey Bread!) and delicious Korean food (Kimchi Fried Rice!). The restaurant is always clean, and the owners are friendly!

Love this place! They have great frozen yogurt flavors, some rather not-traditional. We have yet to eat off their dinner menu, but it always looks so good and smells heavenly! The owner is multi-lingual. I even heard him speaking is Spanish to a young couple.

It's a very small, cute place that exceeded my expectations. Though it is small it had many options for food with Korean food options, as well as other drink options. They do serve gluten free and vegetarian options.

Really great place. Krave in Mt. Zion is our home base for frozen yogurt but it is nice to have something like this up north. Great stuff!!!

Clean, friendly, bright great place to try new flavors

I got introduced to this place by a close friend of mine the problem is I'm a picky eater however I love this place. The food is amazing and the choco frape is to almost die for. Its a great place to relax and just chill with your friends.

My sisters and mother and I all love coming here together when we have an evening off once in a while. The decor is cute and bright. The music is modern. The restaurant is clean and smells great. The frozen yogurt is tasty and flavors and toppings are updated frequently. They offer a wide arrange of bubble tea and authentic sushi and other foods like ramen. Highly recommend this place!!

Did yall know they have bubble tea and authentic Korean food??? I do now. They are so sweet and helpful, and after three years of not having Korean food, the experience almost brought me to tears. I loved every second of this place and what they serve and I will definitely be telling everyone about it.

Called many times to place an order during normal hours l, couldnt reach anyone. 10 mins later get a text asking to text only. Very un professional, wouldnt reccommend based on this alone

I had a wonderful experience at this little Korean restaurant. I don t know much about Korean food and they were very helpful as well as friendly. I was so full I didn t have enough room for the yogurt. Must go back. Good healthy food, nice people, very clean, and made fresh per order. I would recommend to friends and family!

Frozen yogurt...yes! However, the Korean food here was SOOOOO GOOD!!!!
We enjoyed the japchae, kimbap, teriyaki tofu, and the spicy tofu. My daughter loved.the peach bubble tea.
Everyone working was delightful and super helpful for making a great visit for a vegan family! Definitely a hidden gem among all the chains in north Decatur/Forsyth.

I love this place even more now because their food is wonderful. It's a great place to sit and visit...keep the kids entertained with all the cute toys and books.

Come here often when I need to relax, this restaurant seems family owned, and they make you feel like part of that family. Excellent food, and even better staff. Everyone is eager to help out and learn your tastes in food, to make sure that you are pleased with your meal. Also, when you are finished serving yourself frozen yoghurt and sit down, staff will come out and clean all of the handles, surfaces, and dishes on the self-serve section, this is excellent during the winter months where germs live on all of these things.

All in all, one of my favorite places to stay and study, chat, or just relax and enjoy excellent food for the soul.

Waits are long for specific orders but the yogurt is worth it!

Best fro yo great food. Bbq short ribs sushi udon noodles. Pricey and fro yo flavors rarely change.

I love trying new dishes here and haven't been disappointed yet. This last visit we finally tried the Honey bread, it was amazing! I would highly recommend trying not only the frozen yogurt but the food.
