Absolutely fabulous. This place will make you feel real special even if you just stop by for lunch at The Ryder Cup Tavern. Lovingly decorated for Christmas with family activities. I highly recommend it and if you're a golfer you'll love it too.

This hotel may look gracious but behind the scenes it s not. My teenage daughter was working for a fast food restaurant and every time she had to deliver here, she was treated rudely and disrespectfully. When she couldn t find the exact room of a customer and asked for help, two outside personnel told her, we don t help people like you, meaning she was a lowly pizza driver. Another time she delivered a pizza and the unhappy staff made her take it back at 1 am and return with a new one. This resort looks pretty but it s rotting inside, in more ways than one. Horrible staff! Very arrogant.

Dinner in The Ryder Cup was wonderful! Great food, really great service. We went @ 7 and it happened to be a quiet night, so we were joking with our server and had fun celebrating my husband's birthday. Brie & mushroom was delicious!!

Checked in Saturday, beautiful historic resort. Great atmosphere with golfers in relaxed golfing attire and ladies in flowery spring into summer casual wear for the 79 degree perfect weather. Some special events with well-dressed families too - saw a beautiful ball gown. The room has frosted windows with golf scenes and a roomy black and white tile bathroom - all gorgeous! So far food is good, with generous portions at dinner.

Wonderful time and service/accommodations were A+. Stayed at the Holly Inn which was the first hotel built on the property. This is definitely a golf destination and would leave the wife and kids at home. Played #2, 8 and 7. As much hype as #2 gets, I enjoyed 7 better.

Beautiful historic property. Great choice for events. Attended the Carolina Philharmonic Holiday Pops concert and was impressed with the acoustics and ambience the hotel lent to the event. Impecably decorated for Christmas with many trees and hundreds of poinsettias.

The course is absolutely spectacular and the greens are like nothing else you will experience. The day we played they were running about 14, and you learned to play a lot of bump and runs. The course played a bit short from the white tees, especially on the par 5's, but overall, it was awesome. The caddies are extremely knowledgable and friendly. Was a bit pricey, but the experience was memorable.

I didn't even golf on this trip and the resort is fantastic! The inns are expensive for anything food related, however, a trip into town offers different options and decent prices. Try the new Brewery!!! Prost

Very cool old school resort in the middle of nowhere. It was like being transported to another country or something. No fast food or grocery stores around. It's just golf. You wanna golf, go here. You want to pay $14 for a basic gin & tonic, stay here. It is very expensive, because you are trapped there. Food was pretty solid. Staff is all very nice. You pay for what you get. I would give 5 stars if my toilet didn't randomly gargle and the prices were so outrageous. You need to be a big-timer, heavy spender to crash at this pad, yo.

Pleasant visit for the afternoon, with welcoming staff who put us before them. We decided we wanted to go to the Carolina and check it out. So we did, then we went out to the Ryder Cup Lounge, with my brother and his friend wanting a drink from the bar. We did, but the bar was closed. So one of the Waitresses said you can go out to the porch instead of the bar, and they'll come out to you and take your order without us having to get up. They did. And it was awesome. The Sweet Tea was delicious, and my brothers drink was handcrafted specially for the Carolina. It was nice, sunny, and beautiful. Also, a lady came out and asked us Would You like your picture taken? We said yes, they did it and did a great job with it. We left, they greeted us goodbye in a mannerly way, and that was our pleasant afternoon stay at the Carolina! I hope you get the same experience we did, and if this was helpful, please it'd be nice for a thumbs up!

This place is adorable. Feels like you have taken a step back in time. Staff is awesome. Tea time is just great fun. The spa is also a treat. I don't recommend going here in the winter. The rooms can be very cold. The hotel is very old, so this is just part of it. Restaurants are all good. Love the fireplaces in the pub.

Most amazing test if golf I've ever experienced. Conditions were absolutely incredible, greens immaculate, staff super helpful. I played No. 2, No. 8, and The Cradle. Highly recommend The Cradle for a fun golf experience with music playing all around you and a bar to drink at along the way. Gotta play golf at this historic resort!

Wonderful place. Beautiful golf courses and great hospitality. Would recommend playing every course. All are different and present challenges of their own. Some are short, but challenging and some are just downright hard to score on. Loved #2, @4, @7, #8 and #9! With so many great courses, why play anywhere else!

About Pinehurst Resort

Pinehurst Resort: The Cradle of American Golf

If you're a golf enthusiast, then you've probably heard of Pinehurst Resort. Located in the heart of North Carolina, this historic resort has been dubbed "The Cradle of American Golf" for good reason. With nine world-class golf courses and a rich history dating back to 1895, Pinehurst is a golfer's paradise.

But Pinehurst isn't just for golfers. The resort offers a wide range of activities and amenities that make it the perfect destination for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. From spa treatments to horseback riding to tennis and croquet, there's something for everyone at Pinehurst.

Accommodations at Pinehurst are equally impressive. Guests can choose from rooms in the historic Carolina Hotel or one of several villas scattered throughout the property. Each room is elegantly appointed with all the modern conveniences you'd expect from a luxury resort.

Of course, it's the golf that draws most visitors to Pinehurst. With nine courses designed by some of the biggest names in golf course architecture – including Donald Ross and Tom Fazio – there's no shortage of challenging holes and breathtaking views.

One course that stands out among them all is Course No. 2 – often referred to as "the masterpiece." Designed by Donald Ross in 1907 and restored by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2010-11, Course No. 2 has hosted more championships than any other course in America (including three U.S Opens). It's widely considered one of the best courses in the world.

But don't let Course No. 2 overshadow some of Pinehurst's other gems – like Course No. 4 (designed by Tom Fazio) or Course No. 8 (a Jack Nicklaus signature design). Each course offers its own unique challenges and rewards.

Beyond golfing itself though lies an experience unlike any other - The Cradle short course which opened on September 30th ,2017 . This par-3 layout features holes ranging from just over fifty yards up to around one hundred yards long with greens varying between circular shapes , square shapes , rectangular shapes etc . It’s perfect for beginners looking to get into golf or experienced players who want something different .

When it comes time to relax after your round(s), head over to The Spa at Pinehurst where you can indulge in everything from massages to facials to body treatments using locally sourced ingredients like pine needles and honeycomb .

And if you're feeling hungry after all that activity? You won't be disappointed with dining options available on site - whether it’s casual fare at The Deuce or fine dining at Carolina Dining Room .

In conclusion,Pinehurt Resort is truly an exceptional destination offering unparalleled experiences both on & off-course . Whether you’re looking for championship-level play or simply seeking relaxation amidst beautiful surroundings , this resort has everything needed for an unforgettable vacation . So why wait? Book your stay today!
