our friends bag was stollen no staff noticed, manager said " it's not the first time". they do nothing to prevent this happening. checked the cctv but picture was not clear enough to identify the person. no signs reminding keep your personal belongings etc. we were sitting right next to the bar and cashier... for this simple fact we would not come back. best thing is " it's not the first time" response. more like we don't care about the customers... did not offer to use the phone to call the police... so VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE... so dissapointed.... all this could be avoided with a simple sign or a word from staff...

It's a gamble with this place, have visited several times and the service varies also the quality of food varies.

The staff I guess are on a rotational schedule with all the different branches as each time I've been there there is a different waiter or waitress and that has caused the service level variation. Once I was there before noon and after ordering the waiter comes back saying that few items were not available. This is something the staff should know and inform quests before ordering.
They quality of food varies greatly you can have a great dish one time just have the same another time but with poor quality.

Salads can be a waste of time. The pasta dishes are a gamble they can be great or absolutely drenched in oil.

Had a quick stop here for lunch. Food was tasty. It wasn't cheap but you're not going to get cheap round here I guess. Decor is nice and the waiting staff were smart and friendly. Can't fault it.

Good but nothing fancy, expensive and small balls of ice cream

Waffle cold - crepes with banana definitely not fresh fruit. Pricy for the service received.
I would not suggest to come here.

Preposterous service, we sat down and ordered a few coffes and tap water. After a few minutes the manager rudely told us we couldn't stay unless we order one drink each (we were with two teenagers who only wanted some water to tolerate the heat). Unacceptable service for paying customers, uncalled for and absolutely ridiculous. Never going back again, they should rethink their management choices

I came here as a birthday gift from my friend. Afternoon Tea for Two. Delicious and rather filling.! A beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. A very good service. My son and I came here prior to the theatre. Lovely!

Fraud!! From the outside the place looks very tempting, however it s far from being a nice experience. The food tastes bad, even the lemonade is poor quality!!. To sum up stay away !! Tourist trap!!

After a dodgy start where we were only given the Al a carte menu, where we were led in by the board outside which we then after querying the prices, we told that is the specials menu.
The first waiter was not friendly, maybe he'd just heard he'd got some bad news. The second waitress was lovely and could not have been nice to us.
We have been before and we will go again. The food is really good and good portion sizes.

A lovely surprise on 20 July 2017: I bought two scones for take away and told the service I would have them with my daughter next day for the afternoon tea - in Germany. I had to wait for the scones to get ready and got them carefully packed in a nice gift bag, with an extra cup of cream and two little jars of marmalade. Next day after arriving in Dresden my daughter and me really enjoyed the scones - and the story of buying them - for the cup of tea. Thank you!

We ordered three things and they didn't have them. In the end the waiter asked to go and have a look to see what was available. At least he was friendly.

Popped in for a coffee with six friends and was a lovely experience, very friendly staff even late at night.

Reasonable prices for central London. Good service. Claasic decor.

This place is terrible! Seating was too cramped and when we complained to the manager he had the audacity to cramp us 3 onto a tiny table for two! The waitress said she ll be back to take our order but then waited over 15min for someone to pay attention to take our order. When we asked the waitress to speak to the chef to make an alternative dish, she kept avoiding the question and tried recommending something on the menu to which non of us wanted (we made this clear 4times!) because we were vegetarians. We ended up leaving furious - ruined my night!

I think the food is fantastic... Must Try: Pasta : spinach Tagliatelle smoke salmon.... And scone is perfect. Service is quiet good actually and the waitress are really nice to us. May be it depend on the customer, perhaps the waitress doesnt like it when customer is rude. The price is reasonable.

Food is so yummy I wish the portions were even bigger

Hm.. Staff seemed not to recognise an order for just 2 pots of tea. Ended up with 2 pots of Earl grey with milk after long delay and having been offered a range of coffees and an afternoon tea by waitresses.

We had to ask for the coffee after we had eaten our pastries. Lovely waitress but miserable management.

One if nicest places to eat while in London, service is fantastic , you are treated like royalty, the food is superb whether it is a cheeseburger or risotto. The food is cooked as ordered you wait a while but His the wait is worth the while. The desserts are scrumptious and and beautiful. Every bite of food you eat you taste every flavor that is put into it

The server (M) was rude and not friendly but the hostess was very nice ;) and desserts are very delicious.

Very disappointed in this place. Staff were rude and showed no sympathy towards how I had lost my phone. I was rushed with my order. All in a very stressful and disappointing visit. Never got to sample he cakes. Coffee was tasteless and lacklustre in presentation and performance.

Lovely food. We ordered the spinach ravioli, the mushroom risotto and the goat cheese ravioli and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is only a minor issue about water requests. Every time I have being there they don t offer you water and when requested it takes very long for the waiters to bring. Sometimes I had to ask 4 times and the water arrived after we have finished our meal.

Worst cafe with the worst service. Especially the manager there named Abdo. Treated us with utter disrespect by answering us sarcastically and by making unnecessary remarks. Will never recommend to anybody who wants to dine at a nice restaurant with good service. Very disappointed to say the least. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Horrible place. I have been with a friend that I haven't seen for a long time to have lunch. The staff misunderstood my order so came with the wrong plate. Then I asked them to change it and my friend had to start eating because it was a warm plate. They took so long to bring me a sandwich that was so so not great at all. They didn't charge for it which is nice but the staff had some of an attitude and was rude. And still too expensive for the horrible experience that we had. It need to take the standards up and be respectful to customers on serving them good quality food.

Won't be visiting again. My wife had been earlier in the year with friends and enjoyed it; this time they were far too slow having to be prompted at every stage so we ended up leaving before the scone arrived!

Was served by Christina who was pleasant and welcoming to us. We re we re only taking away however we were still invited to sit down while we waited.
I had the steak sandwich which was okay.* It was tasty especially the steak itself and the caramelised onion. I thought the American cheese was a rogue choice... a bit of Dijon mustard mayo would have been my choice with the style of restaurant in mind.

*I say okay because I got food envy of my friend who got the chicken, bacon and Brie sandwich. It looked fantastic. The pasta I saw on the tables around also looked like a great choice, along the with the macaroons. Therefore my review is a four star due to my choice from the menu, but I could see it easily turning to a five if I returned.

Sub-par coffee and rude staff members make it a very unpleasant experience. Pay them a higher salary and they just might be happier. Don t walk in.

The poorest service ever received in any London "restaurant"ever.
Breakfast time today 02.07.18 the some what waiter, Was unwelcoming, rude and unhappy no polite manner at all. Staff arriving for their work shift opening food counters with home clothes and getting the food without any respect for hygiene standards. Asked for a glass of tap water and waiter told me they don't do glass of water if I wanted I had to buy it.
Nice location and calm for breakfast before work but your service made my monday start in a s.....y way.

Bad Experience - unfriendly waiter/host. Walked in with a friend.. wanted to sit near the entrance looking out. Refused curtly by the host saying its for 4. Made to sit on a 2 person table. In 2 mins a white couple walks in and gets the same table we had requested for. Feel discriminated.

Terrible customer service, the host was rude, the food mediocre. I saw the waiter putting the ice into someone s water with bare hand. Toilet facilities are outrageous. If you have other option than this place, choose the other!! This is my second time here. The first experience was pretty much the same. Wanted to give the place a second chance but it was clearly a mistake. This was the last time I step foot in here and I will encourage everyone else to do the same.

looks good everything on outside we ve a tea set for two and crepes with banana with hot chocolate sauce. The crepes was ok but the tea set was do disappointed.. scones was so dry and hard don't feel fresh at all. not worth paying tat much and the pastry cakes was so chewy...

Fast service and friendly. You can feel the selected quality ingredients. The taste is better than normal chain restaurants, but still nothing to mentionable. If there would be a fusion or type of cuisine in a direction. Specialisation or so.. but Me and my business partners did enjoyed it. However, somehow I had a bit of the expression to order quick, order now drink before and after, and if you finish with dessert please pay your bill and next.. we had to go somewhere else to finish our conversation.

A group of 3 of us just had a delightful evening at this cafe and we were all very happy with the staff and the service. They were short staffed but the staff very happy to serve us especially Amir from Tunisia and Ouana from Romania. Excellent facilities and tasty food. if any review are unkind its possible that the staff are working very hard and they are short staffed. i encountert his situation very often, restaurant and cafes do not employ enough staff in order to save money ? at the expense of customer service and exhausting hard working staff. very happy indeed

It's a tourist place so you know what you're getting. The food isn't very good but the service was really good. Part of the sharing platter want heated up sufficiently so the manager said we didn't have to pay for it. It wasn't on the bill when it arrived, so fair play to the manager! A great way to deal with a complaint. You can take kids here which is an advantage. If you've got kids with you.

Weren't too many people but still took 25 minutes to get the menu. The bathrooms were disguting. The berries on the cake was molden or rotten. The coffw was alright, the tea looked nice but had no taste. In all honesty it was quite bad. I wouldn't recommend.

We were a little disappointed by the service when we arrived: we were seated in an uncomfortable corner very close to another table when there was a whole room available. I saw our hostess show two parties into that room, and asked if we could be seated there but she said it was not possible as they were closing the area. Not a big deal, except loads of people were seated there as we watched for the next hour so it felt like we were low priority customers.

The wine we wanted was unavailable and it took a long time between ordering wine and actually drinking it.

That said, we were very happy with the food once it arrived- the vegan truffle gnocchi was very nice and the portions were generous. Priced on the high side, but still better value for money in terms of food quality than anywhere else on piccadilly

Food was nice, service is good! Went there twice in the afternoon during weekdays, I like that there are not much people so me and my friends could talk.

Our waitor Adrien was very friendly and professional, enjoyed a very calm and peaceful atmosphere after a long night. Sparkling cocktails are very nice here

Great vegetarian breks and divine, light and fluffy pancakes served with strawberries and caramelized bananas. Worth a visit.

Last afternoon I've been here with a friend of mine and I've received an amazing service from a young woman, Mary. She served us like queens, kind, smiling, professional and with a beautiful presence.
Food and coffees were very good, staff is nice (actually not everyone). I'm giving five stars specially for Mary. She deserves a promotion for sure.

Excellent pastries !! Nice place but I agree with the others regarding the service and hospitality.

Ordered the vegan breakfast - given a full English with sausages and bacon and fried eggs! On pointing out this was the wrong order, I then waited a further 20 minutes for my breakfast while my friends ate. My friends' breakfasts were lukewarm at best.

Once mine arrived, the mushrooms were cold, but granted the fritters were hot and felt freshly cooked. The breakfast was supposed to come with toasted foccacia which was missing. We tried to catch the servers attention to no avail. When we did get their attention, bread was brought over, however this had bits of fluff on it.

We did raise this with the man who seemed to be the supervisor, and he waived my breakfast from our bill, however the 12.5% service charge was still added!

I've eaten in other Caffe Concertos elsewhere with much, much better service and food. I cannot recommend this store at all unless serious changes are made.

Overpriced and overwrought. The Irish coffee I had was horrendous - a sour, burnt coffee base, poorly mixed with cheap 'whisky-esque' liqueur, topped with an absurd amount of whipped cream presumably to hide the horrors that lay beneath. My friends did not fare much better - their matcha and golden lattes were neon-coloured sludgy messes, perhaps Instagram-friendly but barely potable. Lastly, our other friend had a chai latte that was just an industrial-quality teabag dunked in a tankard of poorly-frothed milk. The cannoli tasted weeks old and had a sweaty, damp icing sugar glaze that didn't do much to disguise the rigid pastry. The interior decor is an exercise in faded glamour worthy of Sunset Boulevard (the film, not the geographical location). The toilets are a bomb site. For the privilege of grimacing through all of the above, we paid over 5 pounds per beverage. Horrendous - if you consider yourself a coffee lover to any degree, or just value and cherish your tastebuds, steer well clear.

Elegant, great service, a little disappointed with the selection of cakes; although present in the menu was missing my favorite, the classic Red Velvet, and the alternatives were only two. Coffee is good, for England it's not cheap

The place is really beautiful. Lots of tables outside and even more inside. Ice cream, cocktails, hot food and coffee, all in one. The decor is really nice, and from the outside you can enjoy a beautiful view. Unquestionable quality of service. In good weather it becomes a must for a break around the center.
