I normally don t write reviews to be honest but thought I should for this place.
Bad customer service! We were initially excited to try their coffee and desserts but the staff member at the door made us wait for so long while he went and served a couple who were nicely dressed in suits. even though we arrived there first. (Note we were in nice attire not sloppy). This is not right they should treat all their customers the same.

My family and I came to Caffe Concerto on the Christmas day and let know from the very beginning that we only wanted to order tea and desserts. Well, everything was okay and we all were happily celebrating Christmas until the tea arrivied. It turned out to be too strong so we asked to add more hot water. The request was refused, we have never faced something like that before.
When I asked for a cup of hot water to drink some medicine against fever, at first the waitress also did not want to bring me one afraid that I will add this hot water to the tea pot.. That was insane.
When we asked "why" the response was that every customer should have his/her own tea pot... We felt like we were in prison not as a family who wanted to enjoy some tea with desserts on the Christmas day.
The fisrt manager just was repeating that that's the rule of the cafe. The second manager was very kind to us and he patiently explained that the policy was taken due to extra costs of the cafe on the Christmas day.
This is not a message posted to blame the first manager or neglectfull staff members but a message addressed to the owners of the restaurant who wanted to make more profit on Christmas day and therefore created some rude rules that eventually negatively effected the experience of customers. NOT RECOMMENDED! ESPECIALLY ON CHRISTMAS DAY!

Lovely lunch spot with great salads! Quick and efficient, great menu with lots of options. We were in London for about a week and had lunch at various spots around sightseeing attractions. This was the best hands down. Would definitely visit again.

Had the fish and chips, was good. However after waiting 40 minutes I asked for a menu. After another 30 minutes I was able to place my order. A blonde waitress in black just ignored me at the start, she didn't serve me. I was then served by a waiter. Eventually found a short hair on my plate (top of the picture). I have long hair so couldn't have been mine... wouldn't come back and definately not worth the prices. The place looks good, I guess the one star was worth it for that

Went there to get a mixed berries tart for my lovely boyfriend.
As it was take-away they wrapped it up in a fancy box + bag with no extra costs!
At home we shared the tart! It was megalicious! Loved it!

I was served by Bianca Andreea

Located in the heart of London, it looks like a welcoming and elegant place, with the staff ready to welcome you. I personally went there for a tea accompanied by a piece of cake (both good) but I saw from the menus that it is also possible to have lunch. Recommended.

Although I have visited London numerous times this was my first experience having afternoon tea and I was not disappointed. It may be slightly expensive but not unreasonable for a tea for two. Tea was served with an assortment of sweet and savory snack options which were all delicious and the atmosphere of the cafe was darling.

The food was fine, but oddly enough the same pasta dishes was decorated different, one with greens and one with shaves of parmesan. The waitress was friendly. However when ordering one dish with the mushroom sauce on the side, we got the dish, lastly for the child in the company, with sauce on top of the chicken breast. We asked to get it right and the waitress apologized, all well until the dish arrives again with the sauce all over the sauteed potatoes instead. Poor preformance by either the chef or the waitress I don't know, but not a full tip.

Pasta is obviously their better dishes and they're good, but stay off the bolognese.

A coffee chain, but that does not look so much like a chain! The place is very luxurious, a real London style, the servers are nice but overworked, we had to ask the bill several times, which cost him his 5th star. Still, the apple crumble we had and the coffee was delicious.

Awesome dining experience . Eight of us rocked up to this place starving and all eight of us were served knockout meals
From the fried calamari , to grilled salmon to the chicken schnitzel , ravioli and pasta we were thoroughly impressed as a simple cafe carved out chef quality meals
Service was prompt and cheerful
No hesitation only pleasure in recommending this joint
If you like seafood their fried calamity is awesome and a HUGE serving
Not the cheapest eat in London but worth every cent

Overall very quite place and large portions of food, that's great. That day we have also met a famous actor Bill Nighy, which was a great surprise for all of us!
Overall a great place to catch up if you want to chat and actually hear each other.
Nice atmosphere, apart from a weird behaviour of the waitress who had food in the main restaurant area and had loud music on their phone as well as another waiter met some loud friends in the same restaurant area. I think it's not the best of the practices, hence 4 out of 5 for this place.

Cafe Concertos here and in Whitehall are the best places in London for Afternoon Tea.
Forget the long queue and waiting list at The Ritz: here you get all boxes ticked in gorgeous surroundings.
Divine.

We were Ignored and had to ask the waiter 4 times to get a glass of water, we never got the water, what we got is not the food we ordered, waiters who were disrespectful. Do not recommend any unless you want to spend to much and not get served
