Horrible. People are uptight, rude, and generally disrespectful. Avoid going here, go to your local Walmart, lot more entertaining, and at least you might see something fun and enteresting, if anything, most Walmart stores have a subway...

This place is terrible and wouldn t recommend it to anyone. Everything here is extremely expensive and the golf courses stink.

Here's something they dont tell you about phone coverage and internet coverage. Either they jam the signal to prevent phone use for golfers or it's the worst coverage. You cant make calls and guess what you have at the Uber stand??? Tons of people who can't access data or wifi. It took an hour to arrange a ride home. This is unacceptable and should be explained to guests.

Overwhelmed to start with pulling up front to staff waiting on the next newbie... immediately they can tell and repeat there introduction twice...LOL. Beauty around every corner...can't wait to attack courses. Pool side bar was super nice with a breeze. Chicken sandwich and fruit hit the spot. My room view at night is so colorful!

Love the staff! We had our wedding there 11/1/19 and Kimberly A. And Arianna B. We re amazing the food was great the catering was top notch and decor was stunning from Todd at Xquiste we couldn t ask for anything better!

Very good service and beautiful surroundings, when you have something to celebrate they take care of everything

We love to eat here. It is not cheap, so be prepared. Remembef you only get what you pay for and it's great food.

Wow. I never, ever leave negative reviews. But I have to share my experience. Customer service at this hotel has completely declined. Coming from the hotel/hospitality industry I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.







What really threw me for a loop was when we stopped by the front desk around 8:30/9pm to see if they had fireworks planned for midnight the front desk agent not only didn t greet us, smile, ask if she could help us, she gave us a look like we were interrupting her and gestured what . Her response was no, we have new management and went back to looking at her computer.

Again, I don t share negative feedback as typically mistakes happen, people have off days, and they are rare. But when every department fails to provide service feedback needs to be shared.

Beautiful grounds, nice cottages, luxury stay, wonderful pools, good for kids.

If you love golf and you are in town, this is the place to be.

Got screwed by a "group rate" with the Golf Channel AM Tour - only to find out several others got the same type room for significantly cheaper - including a round of golf each day, breakfast, no club / resort fees (all of which cost us extra on our 'super awesome' group rate deal). Thanks for the second class deal - luckily your golf course was on my bucket list. Shop around with them or they will nickel and dime you to death. Not how I care to be treated, and needless to say a little irritated. Just an FYI - if you treat people well and try to get them the best deal - they may actually come back on a regular basis.

Terrible customer service, especially at the golf courses. While the facilities are top notch, I honestly cannot imagine coming back here again. We are paying $700/night for the gold golf package, and we have been treated like second class citizens so far.

We were forced to take a golf cart without a top. It then proceeded to rain pretty hard for about an hour. The starter told us we could take another cart with a top, and then when we tried to do that, another older gentleman yelled at us like we were children. Instead of finding a solution, we were yelled at. We then tried to call and noone picked up.

Later in the day, when closing out our tab with the cart lady, we realized we were severely overcharged. Hopefully that can still be corrected.

Restaurants are closed in the middle of the day for private events. The first hole of the Fazio course is converted from a par 5 to a 100 yard par 3 (no discount offered). Our bags have not been ready for us once so far, when we were told they would be. The list goes on and on.

Some of this is due to the Honda Classic and is understandable, but the golf cart situation was beyond ridiculous. Instead of being treated like people paying over 5K to stay here, we have been treated like a couple of people who are trespassing on their property.

We are here for another 5 days. Hopefully we will be treated better moving forward, but so far, it feels like we do not belong here.

PGA Championship golf course play where the pros play

Played the Champion course. Layout is quite interesting, fairways in very good condition, a number of greens were in terrible condition and no one disclosed that either when making reservations or at the pro shop. Stayed on site in a 2br villa which was fine. Very limited dining options on property.

Only just arrived. Start playing today. So far. Very nice. A couple of issues with the room but sorted now.

Great food and great prices generous portion sizes but excellent quality food in the service was top-notch

Very good customer service. Fazio course was in remarkable condition given that it had rained heavily the day before. Great greens.

Beautiful venue and the lunch was delicious and the staff were very professional.

We loved it here! Pleasant staff, great poolside food and drinks and the pool is really good too! Our party had a fun evening just hanging at the pool with our kids. Very family friendly environment.

As one might expect, the the PGA is a beautiful property with plenty of amenities and extras. We were there for three nights because of a family occasion and not golfers. Nonetheless, the property is well maintained and the staff were anxious to please. Very nice. Of course there were little things that needed attention, like the convertible bed had no sheets. But a call to the front desk (even though it was after midnight) was promptly addressed. It is a huge property and must be a major undertaking to keep up. Nonetheless, these magnificent grounds are pristine and lovely. One regret is that we did not play croquet...they have a classical croquet set up which was very old school. Unfortunately, time didnt permit our indulging. We had a small suite which accomodating my wife, two children and myself and the price was quite reasonable. It is not a five-star property, and the main draw must be the golf.

Very expensive, Members only. Had Easter Buffet there, food was ok, not a big selection, and nothing special. Could have gotten the same at Golden Corral for 75% less money. Not very impressed.

Why does this golf course come up as a public golf course on google? I believe it s private only or maybe open to the public only if you stay at their Resort which is $$$$

Stopped in to take a look and have lunch. Peace was beautiful, lunch was fantastic. Next time, golf.

Course is in good shape although had to stop playing as it rained pretty hard twice & the course was already wet from rain . . . Will have to go back

My family and I love it here. Most come to play golf, as we do. Courses are well maintained, starters and staff couldn't be friendlier. And they get it. They make the golf experience a great one.

Lobby and rooms are impressive.

Not in great shape. Overpriced . Pace good. Drink cart once each 9. Better out there.

Went to the Honda classic a lot of walking but they honor veterans and have some of the most famous players.

The best golf experience I have ever had. My party of 16 was treated exceptionally. The staff is accommodating and the resort is beautiful. If you are a golfer, tennis player, or hosting a conference... Look to PGA National. I cannot stress enough how immaculate the facilities are. The pool area and restaurant service is impeccable kept and pristine.

If you are at the bar ask for Kristen - she was the best. When you are heading to the front desk look to Maurine to take care of anything you would need.

If you are a golfer you have 5 championship golf courses all equipped with a great staff and each course is in great condition. The Championship course, home of The Honda Classic, is an incredible golf course and it was a pleasure to play 18 on.

Slightly dated rooms. Good views. Decent bar and bar food.

Grounds crew sprayed me twice in the face with pesticides/insecticides on the first tee of the champions course. Starter didn't care. Grounds supervisor didn't acknowledge me. Some birthday present. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Terrible customer service if you aren't a member.

It was the worst meal I have ever had. I ordered the gnocchi with seafood. What I received was a congealed mess. Search as I may I found no gnocchi. They either forgot to put it on the plate or it was so so overcooked it turned to mush. In fairness my husband had the fillet mignon and he said it was good.

Overall it was a very frustrating experience at this resort. I love the facility but the club fitting process had a lot to be desired and fell very short of my expectations. The club fitter, Brian first off, was 15 minutes late arriving at the club fitting trailer. OK, no big deal. We went through the fitting process and thankfully, I have enough experience doing this to have narrowed my interest to start with. If you want a full blown, launch monitoring, ball spin type fitting, (particularly useful when getting fit for a driver for instance) this is not the place. So we finish the fitting and Brian asks if he can send me the specs and the price to order them later that day due to other fittings he needed to get to. I agree. Next day, still no specs or price, next day, emails, texts and voice mails, still nothing. 3rd day, I little stronger email and text, so he finally responds, "Sorry I'm on vacation, I totally forgot, I will be back Monday" 4 days from then, Monday comes, I call, text and email again, and he finally responds, "I won't be back in the office until Tuesday" Tuesday at 11AM sends me the specs and what turns out to be a full retail quote. Opinion; If you get a fitting there, get what you need before you leave, tipping does not help, it didn't help me, and then go purchase from your favorite retailer or pro who may not be a fitter but at least will take care of you. Customer service is not this facilities or at least the club fitters strength.

Nice grounds, a college event was being held whole we were there, so practise facility was busy/limited. Beautiful resort and friendly staff

Stayed two nights for a girls' spa weekend at the beginning of July. Spa reservations were messed up upon arrival and the attention to detail in the room was not what we would have expected, given the reputation of the resort. In our bathroom, there was mildew on the shower curtain and layers of dust in the ceiling vent. The batteries in the ceiling fan remote did not work, so the fan ran constantly and the light was perpetually off. New batteries were never provided. The second day, a bottle of cleaning solution was left behind by housekeeping. Completed the online survey sent by the resort after my stay and included all of the above. Expected some sort of follow-up, but got none, despite sending an additional email via their website. Again, lax attention to detail, with surveys that are an exercise in futility and obviously not read. Overall, very disappointed.

I want to reach out to the Security, staff, and volunteers at this years Honda Golf Classic. The PGA Security staff along with Volunteers, and Resort staff went beyond all expectations to recover a lost valuable item of mine. All were very professional and genuinely helpful. The place was packed with people and it was the last day of the tournament. Kudos to all the great people who worked the tournament!!

The new owners will upgrade this 4 star, resort with excellent private club, to 5 stars!!

I rarely ever write bad reviews, but our stay here was a complete disaster and I feel compelled to do so.

We spent our New Years here, expecting to have a very memorable experience, and instead it was just outright terrible.





So I figured at least the golf course would be great since it s the renowned PGA National resort, but after playing the Fazio course, all I can say is wow...torn up fairways and greens, and the course felt like a cow pasture. The cart girl was non-existent, and they play was slow as molasses. As an avid golfer and one who s been to several golf resorts in the past, this was just a joke, especially for what they charged to play it!

We are just in total shock, as this is supposed to be a high end hotel and resort, but it felt like we were staying at a Ramada Inn instead. We will never return here.

The hotel fees make up for over 60% of the total cost of the stay. Gotta love those extra fees. The room was nice, but kind of expensive when everything is closed down at 6pm.

Nice atmosphere with a mix of guests who were not all there to golf, would highly recommend this resort.

We had a really bad time on our visit to this resort. The grounds and the facility are immaculate and beautiful, but the staff is the worst I ve ever seen in any type of hospitality. Very cold, bitter, and rude. They would get upset and angry towards my wife and I if we asked any questions about directions or recommendations. It s sad such a beautiful resort is hindered by such an ugly staff.

A bit of buyer remorse. For the price, the course was in average shape. Tough to grab a bite or refreshment at the turn and saw the cart girl once the entire round. Not worth the price in my opinion.
