De laatste tijd ben ik wat vaker actief in de muziek en elke verbetering geeft mij meer vrijheid. Ik was het gedoe met kabels zat omdat deze of steeds in de knoop raken of ik zit / sta erop, om niet te zeggen dat ik er wel eens over struikel. Tijd voor een draadloos systeem dacht ik zo en wat is leuker dan vlak om de hoek (nou ja ... in de buurt dan) even binnen te wippen bij Bax Music store. In een ver verleden heb ik bij de vorige eigenaar (Verspuy) een fabeltastische bas betrokken. Een Yamaha TRB 5p. En alleen dat p-tje al maakte dat er een extra '0' achter het prijskaartje geplaatst werd.
Maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. De verkoper (jr. himself) blij, de kassa blij en ik blij. Mijn bankrekening deed er wat langer over maar het was in alle opzichten de moeite waard.
Nu, meer dan twintig jaren later in het juweel nog steeds, of eigenlijk sinds een jaartje opnieuw, in mijn gelukzalige bezit om hier nooooit meer afstand van te doen.
Maar nu.
Ik moest iets hebben dat het geluid zoals ik het produceer, of het nou gewoon op de achtergrond grommen is, een subtiele solo of bruut slap zou zijn, in mijn kritisch en redelijk geoefend oor niet tot slapeloze nachten zou leiden.
Dus, met vrouwlief achter op de scoot - prrut - naar Bax.
Op de gitaarafdeling is den verkoperT doende iets aan een gitaar te verdraaien. Het moet gewoon. Hij kijkt na een beleefd wachten van mijn kant even op waarna een blik van herkenning volgt. "Ha meneer, wat kan ik voor u doen?" Kijk, dat is een warme binnenkomer. Ik leg hem mijn vraag voor en hij verwijst mij meteen naar zijn collega bij de balie - omdat die er meer verstand van heeft.
Ik bedank vriendelijk en begeef mij naar 'collega'. Deze hoort mijn verzoek aan en geeft prompt aan dat zijn collega op de gitaar afdeling hier meer van weet. Ik zag kans NIET te roepen dat iemand hier ontzettend loog, toen vanuit een achter (of voor) kamertje een derde Baxenaar opdook.
Deze collega begreep het vraagstuk en wist zelfs te handelen. Kijk, zo kende ik ze weer. Ik mocht zelfs iets uitproberen want hij presenteerde waarempel twee aanlokkelijke systemen. De test lukte maar aangezien het niet op mijn eigen systeem was besloot ik het onverbiddelijke oordeel aan mijn eega over te laten. Dat was kort besloten. Een korte blik op de gatgets was voor haar voldoende. "Die vind ik leuk." was dan ook het besluit. Even sloot zij haar ogen toen ik de prijs noemde, maar het was geen TRB bas van ... heel veel dus opnieuw:

Mijn vrouw deed er iets langer over maar - EN NU KOMT HET:- toen zij het resultaat thuis beluisterde nadat ik de puzzel van de handleiding had opgelost, knikte ze met een tevreden blik. "Dit klinkt bijna zelfs beter dan met al die kabels van je." Ik slikte mijn trots in en moest bekennen, 'Inderdaad. Het klinkt zelfs erg goed.'
O, wat het was? Het XVIVE wireless guitaar system. En met nog VIER jaar garantie.
Maar alleen als ik er niet mee in een zwembad zou springen.

I wanted to order a number of products through the webshop. For the payment I wanted to use gift vouchers that I had, but the order got stuck and because of this I could not finish the order. Waiting time over the phone is 15-20 minutes and after 3 mails I still haven't been helped. We are now 20 days further and there is still no solution.
Helped in the meantime and received the products after calling again. Very happy with the stuff! :-)

Weinig verkopers beschikbaar. Nadat je eindelijk iemand gevonden hebt word je vervolgens letterlijk van het kastje naar de muur gestuurd. Alle kennis komt van internet. Dat kun je zelf online ook opzoeken. Ze hadden beter meer aandacht aan het personeel kunnen besteden in plaats van aan de inrichting.
Visited this morning in Rotterdam to buy a guitar for my son.
Walked around with the guitars and tried some guitars.
After half an hour at the checkout asked what to do here to buy a guitar.
If I already knew what it had to be otherwise I had to report to a blond boy behind.
Asked him but he was busy assembling a guitar (was also necessary given the loose parts) but could borrow his plectrum for a while.
Fifteen minutes later still ignored.
Left and a waste of time.
2 times 50 minutes. I sat in the car to buy a guitar in a shop for added value compared to a web shop.
Should also cost some extra and maybe a combo there.
For me a big disappointment.
Wide range (just a pity that there is no Gibson, but bought a nice trade-in LP), nice stuff and professional guitar repairs by Ralph. Furthermore, there is a big difference in the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. Kees Jan always jumps head and shoulders above it for me.
Bought a gift for my friend here a few weeks ago. The site was available within 4 weeks. Get mail less than 3 days later with the message that the delivery time is 16 weeks (!). They offer an alternative that saves me 65 euros. I choose that option, but don't hear anything after 3 days. Have to go after it again and apologize for being so busy. Get confirmation that the alternative has been sent and the remaining amounts will be refunded to my account within 7 days. Nothing exactly in my account after exactly one week. Only get an answer after 3 days, because it is still busy. The reaction is that it must now be in my account, but it still is not. I do understand that Bax keeps telling me that it is busy, because if you deal with customers and their hard-earned money you get a mountain of reactions. The handling of this situation is anything but satisfactory. I have now received the product, but not yet the money. Hope this follows soon.

At the beginning of November placed an order of which a product was not in stock, this would be back in stock within a few days. This turned out not to be the case, and customer service could tell me (after a few days via e-mail) that it would be the last week of November. OK, it can happen. In the meantime, November is often over and there is still no delivery.
Every week I send an e-mail to ask what the status is after which I am told time and time again that the next week will really be delivered. Completely unsympathetic staff who can only raise a delivery date from their system in 'corporate speak' without addressing the underlying problems.
To date there has not been delivered. If you can go somewhere else for your order, I would definitely recommend that.
I ordered before 9 am and the next day it did not come in: (I finally thought I was playing the keyboard but that was not the case. So if you think what to get the next day at home it is not so so keep in mind !! for the rest, many choices in stuff
Advice is to buy products that you do not necessarily have to see or try online. There are very few staff in the store to assist you (I was there on a Saturday) and I had to wait 15 minutes to pay for a few sets of strings I needed the same day. Next time just online again.
