Drake White Concert.
Extremely packed house. Really hot.
Great concert.....get there EARLY.
Awesome venue! I've played there 5 times and have seen countless shows.
The production is wonderful (especially since they renovated the venue in 2015), the staff is professional, and the food/drink selection is great.
Whether you are playing or just listening, the venue has the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a great show!
A great place!!! Great food! Awsome stagework! Everything went as planned! Great staff! Thank you
Great place to see a high level production show for a low price.
Bring a coat. That place was colder on the inside than outside in the winter. Inadequate seating,, many people standing. I was at a charity event other wise I would have left. That bar was reasonably priced however.
I planned an event with 12th & Porter months in advance willing to pay a fairly steep price to rent it out since the venue was what I was looking for. ONE WEEK before my event, they raised the price by $700 with no options or chance to negotiate since the $1000 deposit I made weeks in advance gave me no out to cancel. Their arbitrary price hike was attributed to providing drinks for extra guests...drinks?! I must go ahead with my event but am shocked by how unprofessional and inconsiderate 12th & Porter has been and urge everyone to seek business elsewhere!
Place is ok, but i dont see many ppl here. Tried 4 times.
The best place to have a small live show. Excellent sound, fog machines, light show, and VIP area.
I booked an event here for a non-profit fundraiser that accommodated 350 guests.12th & Porter had EXTREMELY steep prices compared to other (and better) venues. We were presented with a contract that had a flat rate of $2,500. We thought this was fair until the additional charges were added, increasing the price to nearly $6,000!!! 12th & Porter made us pay for extra security although it was not needed. Prices changed continuously after we had already payed the down-payment (which prevented us from backing out, otherwise we would've). They made us pay $350 for water....WATER. To which we asked if we could use tap water and their response was yes but you still have to pay $350 for the cups...CUPS. It seemed as if they were adding unreasonable charges just to make extra money. Keep in mind, we are a NON-PROFIT raising money to make a child's wish come true through the MAKE-A-WISH foundation. Overall, I DO NOT recommend using 12th & Porter for your venue.
If I could post zero stars, I would've. When first booking the venue, I was assigned and worked with an event specialist. I was given a contract, details, and a "We'll touch base as it gets closer, call me if you need anything". As the event came closer, I hadn't heard from anyone. I called to find out the specialist was no longer on staff and they did not have me on the schedule. I had already sent invites and had all of my guests (including myself) coming in from out of state. We got past that and I feel I was pretty understanding of the situation. Even after they changed prices and details from what I had discussed with the original event coordinator, by approximately $2000. I did not really have an option at this point. The week prior to the event, Hurricane Irma was approaching where I live. For any of you that watched the news (first, I'm sorry that any of us did), It went from hitting Friday, to Saturday, to Sunday, to actually hitting Monday. My event was scheduled for Tuesday. I kept in contact with the venue all week prior letting them know, we want to do everything we can to be there. Even if a good portion of our guests can't, we want to still make it work. They wanted final payment by Friday at 5pm, AND stupid me, I went ahead and gave it to them because they told me they wouldn't hold it if I didn't. I live in Bonita Springs (the second place in the US that the hurricane made landfall and hit directly) where Irma came on Monday. All flights were cancelled and you were not allowed on the roads from Saturday-Tuesday. We unfortunately were unable to have the event. I let them know on Sunday that all flights were cancelled. They would not give me any sort of refund even though the contract says "uncontrollable events" are an exception. I told them I understand that they had to order food, I am willing to pay for any food that was ordered for the event and other like costs they incurred, but did not feel it was fair for them to keep the entire $7,828.21. They did not care. ON TOP OF THAT, they had the audacity to call me and let me know that "if I'd like to reschedule the event, they would apply the $1500 deposit to the next event"!!!! Not a joke. They called to basically tell me I'm welcome to come back and pay double for an event. The event insurance they recommended is still trying to "work with me" on what they'll cover, there were hidden terms on how far in advance you have to have the insurance prior to the event. I'm not even trying to get reimbursement for decor or anything they say they'll cover in the policy, just some of the venue costs. It's a shame, it looks like a cool venue. And please, 12th & Porter, save your generic apology on google and just practice decent business antics.
Always great live music! You never know what new talent or big stars you will see each night
Nice place the visit, they have really good concerts!
I saw M10 Mitchell Tenpenny LP release party here... It was great
Enjoyed dinner before watching Jeremy Mccomb on 03.06.16. The fire fries, dry rub wings & fried pickles were all great! Colby was our server. He was very attentive & knowledgeable of the food/drink menus. He even offered tasty suggestions!
Performing here was an absolute joy. I did not get to experience the food but the performance area was as professional as it could be. The load in was as simple as a load in can be cut. The sound was top-notch quality and the stage with gigantic for the size of the venue. Nothing gets five stars for me so this is a really good rating.
Porter has been growing strong for some while, a good venue to host a medium size concert who invite good talent. Sound is good and lasers work great, bar next door along with The outside patio is pretty nice and looks good.
My three friends and I showed up at this club around 10pm on a Saturday night. It was still a bit slow, and it didn't pick up until closer to midnight, after we had already left.
Pros:
-awesome music (think they actually played Everlong?)
-decent lights
-cheap cover ($1 for girls, $2 for guys)
Cons:
-small (just a bar and a dance floor)
One of the best local spots for Indy Music in Nashville!!
Great time had by all. Came done from Rockford Ill to see Jaclyn Monroe EP release party was not disappointed.
Great song writer's night (we went on a Wednesday). Not just country, but a nice diverse mix. It was a cozy and clean bar with a great selection of beer! Definitely recommend!
It's fun to have parties there cause it is a big place for party to be held at
