We stayed at Hyatt Regency Orlando so we could attend the Eukanuba Dog Championship at the convention center adjacent to the hotel. They welcomed our dog and were happy to have us. We requested a king size bed when we booked the stay but none were available when we arrived late at night. They upgraded us to a floor on a higher level that had a great view of Orlando but had only two queen beds. It wasn't an issue for us so we agreed. The hotel was extremely convenient for our needs. If I come back to Orlando, I'll likely be staying here again.

Never in my 60 year s have I ever had an ear infection. 2 days after staying here and using the swimming pool, I developed an ear infection. After antibiotics, still having issues, then prescribed prednisone. Still not better. I am now deaf in that ear! Cannot hear a thing. So what a great visit, $1200.00 later, and lost hearing in one ear!

Location is great - minutes to all theme parks in the area. There are also a number of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, and within the hotel. Hotel itself is a strong four star experience - very clean, prompt & courteous service, reasonable pricing. Everything here is as I would expect, and I would recommend for consistency and reliability's sake alone. My only nitpick would be that the rooms are lacking in overall warmth - the decor is very business hotel style and takes a very minimal approach to decorating. This was to be expected, however, and doesnt change my five star rating.

My home away from home. I love coming to this hotel, the staff is always friendly and caring. Their service is spectacular. Rooms are gorgeous and upscale. The lobby is amazing as soon as you walk in. The pool is big, inviting and it has different levels for all the ages. Bar services is great. And the convention center is right next to it!!

Met a friend who was staying at the Hyatt for coffee and catching up. Beautiful environment & enjoyed the experience until I left the parking garage and had to pay $25 for my hour & a half stay. Yikes! That definitely tempered my view of the place.

The pool closes so crazy early that it makes no sense. Everywhere else I've stayed Ive always enjoyed relaxing at the pool a couple of hours after getting out of Disney. This pool closes right at dark, for the price that's inexcusable. And the downstairs meeting rooms are ridiculously small. People were left sitting on the floor because there wasn't enough room for enough chairs.

The staff here handled a very busy and exhausting time, during Hurricane Irma, with great care and experience. Best of all, everyone was very calm and helpful and much was done to keep guests comfortable. Thanks!

Greeat rooms and a great bed. A very easy walk to the conventiom center. Fitness room is huge and open 24 hours. One star taken away for bar and dining. Tables on patio were flithy and my cocktail was slapped together. Marketplace in lobby seriously lacked any options for those on a low-carb diet. Be prepared with your own breakfast items! Otherwise, I look forward to staying here again.

Great guest rooms. Spaceous, big bathrooms that are well appointed, and include a mirror with a TV built in. I was there for a 2 day conference. The conference/convention areas were pretty nice. Staff seemed to watch over us and quietly resolve any issues that arose.

I spent a few days at the Hyatt Regency for a conference. I cannot believe how absolutely massive this place is; our conference has a few thousand people and we're nowhere close to utilizing all of the space. I've been very impressed with how clean and well organized the venue is. Dinner at the reception was surprisingly excellent.

Excellent hotel location in Orlando. Rooms are extremely nice and comfortable but they should have microwave in the rooms. The staff at the breakfast restaurant should stay home 8f don't feel like working. We waited for over 10 minutes for someone to ask us at least, what do we want for drinks and they all kept passing by and ignored us so we left. We were really looking forward to enjoy some breakfast there but very disappointed for the customer service.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando ...

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando this past weekend. It was a welcome change compared to our last visit. Like our last visit, we did a web check-in but didn't get to the hotel until 10 PM. This time, it was because of a delayed flight. Instead of running into unnecessary complication with room assignment, I was greeted professionally by the young lady at the Express Platinum/Diamond line. Her name escaped me. She was thorough and was beyond courteous as she handled our reservation. The rooms too were in very good shape except for the non-working in-mirror TV in the bathroom. It wasn't enough to lower my rating as we don't really see the need to have one there in the first place. The Hyatt Regency is still one of our favorite places to stay in the Orlando area. It's close proximity to all business venues makes it an ideal hotel for business people. But it's also only a few minutes from the Universal Studios, which makes it a great place to stay when visiting Universal. Check out was just as painless. I was offered a late check-out by the wonderful young lady at the front desk during check-in so we weren't in the rush to vacate our room. We'll definitely be back.

I went there for an event. Overall was enjoyable, but had 2 complaints. First, the water that they have setup throughout the hotel is horrible. In various locations they had water with lemons, cucumbers, grapefruit, etc. On more than one occasion I heard it referred to as toilet water. Second a place like that should offer WiFi to its patrons, not nickel and dime them.

Great front office staff, excellent concierge, but my room wasn't ready at check in.

Great accommodations. Room was large and clean, and comfortable bed.
(TV in mirror didn't work.)

Very fast elevators. There are several food options at the hotel.

Parking was expensive and walk to car was a bit far.

The hotel is centrally located near OCCC. A lot of walking is needed as the area is massive!

Beautiful pools.

I was at the Hyatt Regency for a convention and it was by far one of the nicest centers I've visited. The rooms were beautiful and well designed. We got food at the B-Line Diner. It was expensive (as you'd expect from a hotel restaurant), but the food was delicious.

Attended a work conference for 3 days. The rooms were comfortable, they layout easy and several staff would ask if they could help on the few occasions I would look lost or confused. The buffet lunch was as good as you could hope, but the on-site restaurants were not the best hotel dining I have had.

Beautiful hotel with good dining options. Rooms are comfortable and we'll equipped. Only had one issue where the shower lost all water pressure for a minute, but it was still a great place to stay overall!

If I could rate NEGATIVE stars, I would! Aside from the ABSOLUTE LARCENY of the price of the parking garage, the service of "The Market" lobby coffee shop was INDESCRIBABLY SLOW AND UNCARING! THIS FACILITY IS AN EMBARRASSMENT to the city--Hyatt should be ashamed of themselves!

Stayed here on July 4th! Loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. Staff was friendly, food was great. Pool was clean and not over crowded. Hotel is located near many restaurants, attractions, and family activities. The rooms were nice beds comfy. Everytime I go to Orlando I will 100% stay here at the Hyatt.

We love staying here. They have a beautiful resort style pool area and also a rooftop pool. I deducted a star because their diner restaurant isn t open right now. Also, kudos for them having a menu online, wish they had the drink menu on there too.

Wow!! What a nice hotel. Extremely close to the strip. 60+ resteraunts and bars within walking distance. The pool is the largest hotel pool I have ever been in. The pool has a water slide and swim up bar. Clean comfortable rooms. Everything about the hotel was great.

Wonderful place to stay if you are going to a convention. Besides that, no need to waste so much money. Same value on cheaper places. If you want a tall hotel in International dr. Orlando,Fl, this can be a good option to.

Two great pools. One is more of a lap pool, the other an oasis get-away. Very clean. Many restaurants, bars, and gift shops line the beautiful common areas around the hotel. Surprisingly pleasant and friendly staff considering the prestigious reputation of the hotel. The location is just a walk from many reputable eateries.

Simply one of the best hotels in Orlando. This hotel is enormous containing 2 huge lobbies, a market, gift shop, spa, several restaurants, and multiple pools and ballrooms. And its right across from the convention center. I believe this used to be the Peabody but Hyatt had successfully elevated the accommodations, facilities and service to another level.

It's a Hyatt so expect to be treated like royalty. From the minute we checked in, the agents were smiling and gave us room even though we arrived around 11. They assigned us a king suite on a high floor with view of the convention center. Room had a 50" smart TV, separate living room with desk and pullout couch, a wet bar in bedroom, comfy king bed with fresh high quality sheets. The shower and toilet were very clean and the separate wash sink had toiletries, a blow dryer, and a built in TV inside the mirror. There was also a bonus glass weight scale which I found accidentally underneath...lol

We went downstairs to explore and found a market with a sandwich shop. I think they also offer pizza and fresh baked pastries. It's basically a one stop shop where you can pick up beer, juices, sodas, wine, to-go salads and other snacks in modern clean environment. Right next to the market, there's a retail shop selling nick nacks and clothing. I know this hotel also has several restaurants including ant Italian steakhouse and 24 diner but we didn't have time to check it out.

This Hyatt is for sure a world class hotel and conveniently located on I-Drive. You can walk to nearby attractions such as bars and shopping and reach the convention center via sky walk way. Lyft ride to Universal or Sea World around $10. Rates are also not bad considering the quality. Standard king room starts around $150.

Impressively clean, comfortable. They've done an excellent job renovating. Restaurant in hotel good but location allowed for other high quality restaurants in the area, with many within walking distance. Within a radius of 3 miles, excellent local breakfast places. Overall, one of the best hotels I've visited in the past 5 years. Customer service is good (professional, friendly, welcoming) but lack the experience!

This is an okay hotel. It's actually, fairly, nice. I, however, stayed here for three days and didn't feel that housekeeping did a great job with cleaning. Oh and, parking is expensive. I paid $75 for three days. It shouldn't be that expensive considering how far the parking garage is from the actual hotel. For $12 more, you can valet. Also, I ate at the Urban Tide restaurant located on property and found it to be a bit pricey for bland food. I ordered the shrimp & blue crab fettuccini and it was, literally, the driest pasta on earth. The cheese biscuits, on the other hand, was delicious. All in all- it was, just okay.
