Simply one of the best hotels in Orlando. This hot...

Simply one of the best hotels in Orlando. This hotel is enormous containing 2 huge lobbies, a market, gift shop, spa, several restaurants, and multiple pools and ballrooms. And its right across from the convention center. I believe this used to be the Peabody but Hyatt had successfully elevated the accommodations, facilities and service to another level.

It's a Hyatt so expect to be treated like royalty. From the minute we checked in, the agents were smiling and gave us room even though we arrived around 11. They assigned us a king suite on a high floor with view of the convention center. Room had a 50" smart TV, separate living room with desk and pullout couch, a wet bar in bedroom, comfy king bed with fresh high quality sheets. The shower and toilet were very clean and the separate wash sink had toiletries, a blow dryer, and a built in TV inside the mirror. There was also a bonus glass weight scale which I found accidentally underneath...lol

We went downstairs to explore and found a market with a sandwich shop. I think they also offer pizza and fresh baked pastries. It's basically a one stop shop where you can pick up beer, juices, sodas, wine, to-go salads and other snacks in modern clean environment. Right next to the market, there's a retail shop selling nick nacks and clothing. I know this hotel also has several restaurants including ant Italian steakhouse and 24 diner but we didn't have time to check it out.

This Hyatt is for sure a world class hotel and conveniently located on I-Drive. You can walk to nearby attractions such as bars and shopping and reach the convention center via sky walk way. Lyft ride to Universal or Sea World around $10. Rates are also not bad considering the quality. Standard king room starts around $150.
