I have worked with the P.B. Bell team for over a year now and it has been an amazing experience! Kristina and Shelby are incredibly professional, responsive and thorough with everything that they do. Any time we have reached out for advice or help they are always open and willing to lend a helping hand. You can tell with they way they work that they truly love what they do. They truly appreciate each and every employee and go out of their way to show them that they are a valued member of the team. I would highly recommend working with the P.B. Bell team or living at any of the communities to anyone.

My experience with this management company, which just bought the property I live at, has been very poor. I live at their "Retreat at the Raven" complex and it doesn't feel like a retreat any longer. They don't reply to calls or emails if you need them, which is never a good sign.

The last two night I've had to call the courtesy patrol due to loud music at 12:00 and 4:00 AM and on the second call the attendant told me the courtesy patrol doesn't exist any longer and I'd have to call the police.

They should change the name to "Party at the Raven". If that's what you are looking for in a place to live you'll feel right at home, but if you are looking for a retreat this isn't the place.

Been a new resident for a little over a month. Quite complex, GREAT location in Chandler, clean apartment, solid amenities. I have enjoyed the staff and team at Montage as they have all been helpful and friendly. The sound from your neighbors can be a tad intrusive compared to other complexes. But all is good after all ... it is apartment living. Love the attached garage! Glad to be here.

I work for a company who supplies goods and services to P.B. Bell and their communities. We've been a vendor partner of theirs for 23+ years. During that period of time, I have encountered nothing but the utmost professionalism from the corporate staff to the site management teams.
As a vendor, the level of respect we receive from P.B.Bell is second to none.

I have worked with P.B. Bell for several years, both at a corporate level and with their staff who work at their communities. Every day, I see their dedication to doing what is right for their employees as well as their residents. P.B. Bell has created a corporate culture that enables their employees to excel at their jobs and enjoy what they are doing. Their corporate officers and staff truly care about the service they provide.

I am a former tenant at a PB Bell property and was having issues with a move out charge that had been sent to collections with no notification of the amount owed by the property. I was having issues resolving my problem and reached out to Danial. She was so professional and considerate and felt like she listened and addressed my concerns in the best way. She is really fantastic at her job. I highly recommend anyone having issues that aren t being resolved to reach out to corporate as I feel like they did a better job at resolving the issue than the property did.

They are crooks. I had an old refrigerator when i moved in that made so much noise it had to be replaced, they brought in a used one from another apt. It was less noisy. Now when I moved out they claim it was new they are saying it was damaged, it was not. They are billing me for almost $600 dollars. They are also "saying" they are replacing the carpet at my expense, which absolutely needed cleaning at best. They are remodeling at the expense of their outgoing tenants expense. Unless you plan on being there the rest of your lives this will be an expensive venture. Do not believe a word that comes out of Bill's or Veronica's mouths. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Someplace other than a PB Bell property

This is a long read, but worth it to save you the horrible experience I have had with this company. A one star review is far too good for them. I moved to Solis at towne center at the end of March. Initially, Susan and Carly were very friendly when I came in to apply . The unit I was renting was getting new flooring so I was unable to view it, and was shown a similar model to get an idea. They said the only difference in the model from the unit I was renting was the color of the countertops as they were replacing them with new ones (yay, I thought to myself, new flooring and countertops)! I hired movers to come the morning I signed my lease as I was just getting back into town. I went in the office to give them my check and get the keys. They gave me the keys and I said "I don't know where I am going as I've never seen the unit " They gave me a map and circled it for me as they pointed which way (guess I'll just walk myself over) I opened the door (which had dents the size of my fist) for the movers , walked to each room to turn on the lights, and that's when the real disappointment set in. On top of the dented door (inside and out) the oven door had grease in the glass, the freezer shelf was rusted, the kitchen cabinets hung crooked on top of not being the type in the model. Of course the model displayed nice panelled cabinets with handles, this one had flat cabinets with no handles (it looked like painted plywood) , and to top it off, the paint job on them was sloppy as to have gobs of dried paint drippings on them . The screen door to the patio was ripped, as was the screen on the master bedroom window, which was bent as if someone had tried to remove it from the outside. I moved to the bathroom to discover a dirty tub, bowed shelves in the medicine cabinet, and much to my surprise on the "new counter tops" , large chips. As I made my way to the guest room, I noticed a sticky, orange substance on the wall and "new carpeting". The fan was also squeaking and louder than a generator. I immediately went to the office , and voiced my concerns. I was told that "all of the doors across the complex are dented and that's normal, the sticky substance is probably just glue and to mark it on my checklist, I won't be charged for it upon vacating" what about the time I'm living there and have to deal with it? The screen door is just normal wear and tear, but that they'd replace the screen for the window as it was beyond repair. In regards to the counters, they were not "replaced" but just "refinished " , which still wouldn't explain the large chips, and in regards to the cabinets that the model I viewed was not the same floor plan as the unit I rented! As I was visibly upset, they said "well, it's a large unit to get ready for new tenants and you signed the lease agreeing to it!" The office staff's demeanor went from friendly and inviting before I signed the papers, to rude, snippy, and inconvenienced the moment after they had my check and signature. I was told to make a list of what I needed repaired, etc, and they would review it to see what they would agree to. I made a list, and turned it in to Susan, the manager on a Wednesday morning. I let her know that I would be gone the next four days, and that they had permission to enter and make the necessary repairs. I returned the next week thinking I would enter my new place and find it taken care. I start looking around and notice that the oven glass is still soiled, the tub still dirty, the freezer shelf was just flipped around in the attempt to hide the rust. As I enter the bathroom, I notice some of my counter items out of place (I'm assuming they just had to move them to repair the countertop) to my surprise, I discovered that they strategically moved the items to hide the "repairs" to the countertop done with a sharpie marker! The counters in my unit were a speckled black, and they tried to draw it in. Not only was this unsuccessful, they had gotten marker on the sink and left it. As it was after hours when I got back, I had to

Horrible management company. The Reflections property was led by Becky for years and now it is being led by a very young girl. Neither were there to make things better for the residents but Becky would at least address resident concerns. Lawn crews used to come one morning a weeks, now them come randomly. Today they chopped up all the tree branches so there is no more shade and no more birds. Also under Becky the property was well lit for safety at night because there are a lot of drugs and violence problems, the police are frequently around at night. Now there are no lights under the covered parking on the east side so all the residents take up the uncovered spots because sometimes those lights are on. Now there is no place for guests to park and it is so dark out that is is very unsafe to walk. The only positive is the maintenance team. They are always rushed off their feet but they do an excellent job fixing things and they always say hello when your walking around.

Current resident at a PB Bell property, I will not...

Current resident at a PB Bell property, I will not say which until I'm positive I have depleted all of my options of remedy. With that said i am having strong odors come into my apartment affecting my Asthma and Sinus issues and have been trying to get the situation fixed for 23 days now, had a leak in bathroom on the 10th of March from roof, ran upstairs guy said they fixed it this morning I said yeah I saw about 8: am or so, yep he says and I say it's 1pm and it's leaking now. Spoke with about 4 people that day and tried with all my heart to explain that it's not fixed it fell on deaf ears.....
More leaks insue........3 more to be exact
On the Nineteenth of March, 19 days later, 4 leaks in if anyone is keeping count.. The 5th leak now since the 10th I can't sleep in my master cause I can't breathe in there breaking out in hives taking medicine I just don't normally take... My daughter 18 no allergy problems, breaking out caughing at night, but not at all when not at home...
Coincidence maybe?
On the 19th of March after looking like a frustrated fool the call a plumber he pops roof open crack in pee trap of shower above me...
Hey!!!!!! Everyone I'm not crazy something stinks and here is a leak right above my head...
No one ever says Mr. Ratliff you did problem sorry we didn't get to it sooner..
NOPE.. Nothing close, it was fixed, roof was patched, painted with flat paint in my wet area, and I stated I hope that smell goes away it's horrible and it really burns my lungs.
I place a ocilating fan in bathroom on high 36 hours under sink where I smelled it the strongest, after first couple hours I'm like is that smell coming out of my kitchen cabinets?
Why yes it is..... Let me inform my community management staff that we still have problems that was Friday the 21st, more conversation, zero action, I ask my manager for her boss today, I'm leaving out names, but she said I'll call and see if we can put you in another apartment but she is on Vacation. Oh yeah what's her name --- okay. I call office --- just went to lunch... Let's please stop the games...
Let's please try and be in the moment... and live with some form of compassion and decentcy. I personally feel as if I'm caught in between a rock and a hard place. And I will be the only one to lose because my manager is going to let this linger until I bust and say something or look a certain way and then I will be threatening or provoking a situation, but she is not sleeping on the floor for 3 weeks in a home for full price. Oh yeah told me she will CHECK on a rent credit for me on
19th but when I asked today about a transfer to upstairs smaller apartment told me May something and totally forgot about previous discussions....... I will update...
To Be Continued.....

The property at Dana park is the worst Organized apartment complex I have ever seen there is not enough parking for all the residents what open parking that there was is now issued for the Residents because they didn t think about how many people are living here and how many parking spots residence need So they took all the open parking put reserved on them now it s like playing musical chairs to find and grab parking spot .we pay for a controlled parking area and they told us that we need to park outside the gate that s not what we re paying $1500 a month for can you imagine living in an apartment community that s supposed to be gated and you have to park on the outside of the gate unsecured this place does not have enough parking so if you move here you will have parking issues all the time trying to find an open parking spot .
Heaven forbid if you have. Friends over family there is no parking available for them at all ......oh and the Parking outside the gate is full too so there s not really any parking and then I got told to park on the street hell no I will not park my car on the street I belong in this community because I m paying for it

P.B. Bell has been a client of ours for almost 2 years and after 10+ years of working with many multi-family housing companies, I can say they are such a breath of fresh air. From the leadership down to the admin staff and to the on-site property teams, the culture at P.B. Bell is outstanding. Every single employee cares so much about the people they serve at their communities, it is always the number one focus in every discussion. I highly recommend living at a P.B. Bell managed community to anyone who is looking for a new apartment home.

I wish I could give zero stars. No wonder why they have such horrible reviews! This company is not interested in helping customers at all. I can't wait to move.

PS- your replies to everyone are very condescending. You keep saying that is not how your company is, when clearly almost everyone has experienced otherwise. BTW I do not live in Reflections at Gila Springs. I'm actually talking about the apartment assistant manager of Solis and your corporate office.

First, I must say that many of these big management companies just think they're the ones doing the tenants(renters) a favor. So they feel they ahve the right to treat people anyhow. Truth is, without tenants no rental management will succeed or even exist if no one rented from them! The following people at Glen Brae apartments, Ruby (manager) Yarisa and Luz (leasing staff) are by far some of the most rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional individuals I have ever dealt with. They seem to either hate their jobs or hate certain people whom they rather not deal with yet their jobs requires interpesonal skills like talking to other diverse humans.. I regret ever moving here when I realize how rude and professional these people are. I don't care to complain about the huge amount of stray homeless cats that roam the complex; the frequent water shutoffs without notice; and They laundry machines that never work and are always broken and never dry your clothes properly after 1 hour of running. My main complaint is the staff because they are The ones I have to deal with. Apparently I was served papers for court over a $300 arrears of which I never received the letter. At my surprise they made a decision to come and change the locks on my door as told to me by Luz who kept repeating herself like an annoying bird that it's because I didn't meet my promise to paypay agreement. So now it's either I pull some magic money out of my rear end or get forcefully removed from my home and lose my personal items because all three of these bozos are incompentent. In fact Yarisa had the nerve to disclose my personal matter with a third party whom I sent to just pay my rent and she went on to tell that person that I owed them money and how much. If thats not a legal violation then I don't know..If I had the means, I would have long been moved out of this place. I am so infuriated and in shock of what is happening to me.

I am on my my 6th lease with you. For the past 3 months I have been putting up with a tenant that keeps setting their car alarm off on purpose. I can say this because:

1. It starts EVERY day at around 6:40 in the morning and continues to go off 15 - 20 times a day.

2. THE ALARM NEVER GOES OFF AT NIGHT!!!

I have complained about this 4 times already and have been told by managers at property that they can't do anything about it. If I want to sleep in on a Saturday or Sunday, I have to sleep on my couch. I still can hear the alarm, just not as loud.

To me, this has gone from being an inconvenience to harrassment. Unfortunately I am stuck in a lease for another 6 months and have to put up with a car alarm going off 15 - 20 times a day 3 parking spaces away from my window.

I ve had to give away most of my furniture and kitchen appliances. I m trying to save my TVs. Pb bell has done nothing. I ve not been able to cook in months and they have not fixed the issue. And here I am, 7 years later, knowing exactly why. This company truly puts people first. Whether it's residents or employees, it's really all about the people....and it starts at the top. Hello I am a resident at The Residences at High St...

Hello I am a resident at The Residences at High Street, while this is a beautiful community with awesome residents. I had a less than good experience when it was time to move in. I have attempted to reach out to my property manager to resolve matters but after receiving no response, I felt that it was necessary to share my experience to alert others so that they do not have to endure what me and my family have. Several important steps were missed on my move in day.
1. I was not given a walk through
2. My Building access key fab malfunctioned three times before it was fixed
3. I wasn t given any details regarding residency. Details such as where my parking spots were, where to dump large trash items, how my guest could contact me on the key pad, what to do if your fab is not working and etc.

Missing these details lead to a nightmare. As I returned the next day with my hourly movers. I found that my key fab did not work (again). I walked to the front office during business hours only to find the office was closed, with no sign as to when someone would return. This was a Saturday at approximately 2:30 pm. I immediately called the emergency maintenance line and after multiple attempts someone called me back after an hour. By this time my movers had left, and took my items to an overnight storage. Me and my daughter had nothing but the clothes on our backs. The maintenance man who returned my call provided me a code that only worked in the daytime, I was told to seek help from the security office only to find that they could do nothing. All weekend long I could not figure out how to gain access to my apartment and it impacted my move greatly. My movers returned the next day after I kept the door propped open, but I was charged an extra trip for them having to come again in addition to an over night storage fee.

I visited the leasing office on Monday, where I explained the issue and after a big ordeal. The leasing manager provided my walk thru and gave me details on how to access the building if the fab has issues. This help was beneficial but I wish that I had been told all of this before hand, on my move in day. I was told to send an itemized summary for my moving expenses which I did but as of today I have not heard back. No one returns my voice messages or emails, I am truly disappointed and expected more from this community.

Thank you

Reply: Good that you are not managing. Yes your team has members like Ms Hotujac who throws HER MISDOINGS on the residents. Highly incapable. And I wrote to others at PB Bell as well. Needless to say I did not receive any response. The horrid call from the manager still leaves me dumbfounded.

Mission springs managed by PB Bell.

-Water is a big issue. On average 25-35 days in a year there's no water or hot water. Same for Heating and A.C.
-Security is a big issue. The main door has just one lock. We had to call the police once because a stray person came to our door at 11:30 pm. The security gate has been open for months. Our shoes got stolen from the porch.
-Cats hovering around the complex.
-Unprofessional people at the office. Poor work. Management talks in a condescending way.
-Maintenance requests takes about 2-3 reminders and about 2 weeks to attend if at all they do come. This company seems to be trained on 'how not to be customer oriented'!
-Be very careful at move out. Take pictures along with the person inspecting and keep it as proof because they make wrongful move out charges.

The company's reply to other reviews here shows how non customer oriented they are.

The location where I live has major issues and it all starts with management or should I say poor management. I'm not even sure if Paula exists because she reminds me of Oz in the sense that she never shows her face. People have to wait to pick up packages when the leasing consultants are busy but she has never once came out of her office to offer assistance. I mean, does she even exist?

I chose an updated 2 bd/1 bath apartment with an attached garage.

Initially I was irritated upon completing my move-in checklist because there were quite a few things that should have been done that wasn't. I mean really lazy things like making sure the light bulbs were in all of the new light fixtures and working properly.
So, I was missing light bulbs, there was a blind laying in the corner in the 1st bedroom that should have been replaced, no hot water, horrible water pressure, the towel holder in the bathroom was hanging off the wall, and whoever refinished the tub did a horrible job on the bottom of the tub (see pics). The tub is bumpy in most spots so I had to put down a mat so that I wouldnt get as grossed out. I'm spending $1276 a month here so I would've expected everything to be done correctly. Yeah people make mistakes but this is just stupid stuff. I just think someone totally dropped the ball. The last thing a new tenant needs is to make a list of things that should have been fixed before they moved in. It's called being proactive and precisely following a check list. I also noticed the cabinet door in the kitchen had water damage and was peeling badly. There are also a few stains as well. The hot water and cold water are backwards in certain rooms.
They also replaced the water heater. Side note: This is the first apartment that I've lived in where maintenance doesn't wear disposable booties. It's not that expensive and your tenants would greatly appreciate it.

I also have a huge issue with the walkways/ breezeways that need to be pressure washed. When I mentioned it to Veronica, I didn't like the response that 'it's going to continue to happen'. Ummm I understand that, but upkeep is relatively simple. Most complexes clean their walkways on a frequent basis. There shouldn't be a large amount of spider webs.

The mosquitoes are horrendous. The property definitely needs a better mosquito treatment because the one that you used isn't working. I don't enjoy being swarmed by mosquitoes every time I venture outside of my apt.

The grills are so gross and need to be replaced. Often times, they don't work. The people that allow their kids to play in the courtyard tend to leave messes and trash that they don't pick up! The kids are also allowed to mark the sidewalks with chalk. Wth!
I've noticed quite a few people leave their trash cans out especially on the weekends. I guess no one is monitoring this. I mean, trash left out can get really stinky during the summer months in a matter of hours. Trash cans left out are just plain tacky. The fitness equipment is really old and needs to be replaced.

I awoke this morning to a maintenance person opening a ladder next to my car.( less than 3 inches from my car). What type of idgit does this? The proper protocol would have been to kindly knock on the door and ask me to move my vehicle. Luckily I caught him in the act and moved my vehicle before something dropped or hit it because you guys would have been looking at a lawsuit for negligence. How about training your employees correctly?

The only person I don't have an issue with is Bill. He is always polite and willing to resolve issues instead of making unnecessary excuses.

This location needs a serious overhaul and I can't wait for my lease to expire.
PS
Whomever responded to this post is not speaking the truth. The walkways are not cleaned. Furthermore, the grills are not maintenanced weekly. I guarantee if you bothered to talk to other tenants then they would provide the same account.

If you want to experience a nightmare rent from these people. Now I understand why they have So many 1 star reviews. Incompetence and unproffesionalism at its best. I paid $100 (I still do not understand why they charge this amount prior to signing a lease) so I literally begged for move in forms as well as lease .Of course it was never emailed to me until I complained. To make matters worse, I receive a threatening email saying they're gonna take me to court for my last due rent (I dont even live there) Of course now they say they cant refund me the $100 when no one, absolutely no one mentioned that $100 wasn't refundable .
One thing I can guarantee, after I post all the online reviews across all social media, that $100 is going to cost them a pretty penny .Folks, if you want to go through this, rent from these people .
