Great Place to visit. It wasn't too far from the Canadian border which was nice. The young lady we met at the ticket booth was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure to meet, and the park was clean and orderly. I've never been to a zoo that you are basically on a boardwalk higher than the animals. This was an amazing concept because there wasn't a bad place in the park to view any of the animals. The animals were happy and well cared for and there was plenty for all to do.one of my favorite exhibits was that of the lions. At 1 point you could actually go through a corridor made of reinforced plexiglass (like the kind they use in a bank / it's safe) and walk under the lions. One was lying on the top and I was able to put my hand up to her paw for a size comparison. They are docile so the young ones shouldn't get scared. They offer pony rides and camel rides as well. They also have a ride through Safari you can take with your own vehicle in which you are allowed to feed the animals certain items that are safe and healthy for them. This is a bit long to complete though. There is a rest point half way through so you can stop and eat or use the bathroom if needed. Many animals do come right up to your vehicle so it is fun for the whole family. And if you like to take pictures, bring your camera. There are many opportunities to do so. There are also some water rides available at this park. It was cold when i went so I'm not sure of exactly what they are, but it looked like a wave pool and a lazy river. Overall we had a great experience here and look forward to visiting again

The price of entry for a day is slightly expensive. We were 2 adults and a 4 year old for $ 120. In short, we knew because we had to consult the site to know the price. However, I find that the price does not reflect the quality of the visit I expected. The places are clean, there is some survival, but something is missing. There is a void of animation and animals. The presentation of raptors is not very dynamic, not very entertaining and the presenter's sound is weak. The catering services on the site is ok, no more. The price is reasonable, the food is worthy of a fastfood frozen and cooked to fry. I was very disappointed with what he calls a European hotdog. No chocuts, tasteless sausages ... just a European-style sausage that tastes BBQ hygrade in uncooked bread. Take a standard hotdog, you will be less disappointed. The water of the aquatic section is also ok. There is an appearance of green in some sections of the basins, likely that there is a lack of chlorine. The section walkway to see the monkeys, bears and wolves should be reviewed. Young children can not see animals, since barriers make it difficult for them to see. In order for them to have a view, it would be necessary to prune the vegetation that blocks the view and to improve the barriers to adapt them to the smallest visitors. The only way he can see is to lift them, but this maneuver is imprudent due to the accidental risk of falling. Our little man has not seen this section. The deer trail is sorely lacking in vegetation, it looks like there was a wild tree slaughter. Such a section presents itself under the theme of magic, but one sees only desolation. This zoo needs love and fresh water. I hope my $ 120 will have a positive impact on improving this zoo. A look in life is ok, but I would not take a season pass, it would be a torture.

I had a good day but i prefer granby zoo because park safari looks so old and not well maintained like granby zoo. The tigers looked skinny so did the male lion. The animals didnt look happy and there were no entertainments like they have at granby zoo.

Water park doesnt look so clean either. They really need to renovate this place. I was disappointed and i go every year but this time, it looked not like it use to.

We also did the safari adventure and there werent many animals there either. We saw this one animal and it had black flies all over his body, it was gross and he looked so miserable trying to remove them.

This is basically my visit to the Safari Park. I would tell you that I expected a little better ... I wonder how well animals are treated really. And a little expensive .... I do not regret my visit but I would not take a ticket for the season.

For children, great water park that is worth it.

What a wonderful place to visit with the family! They offer a CAA/AAA discount of 15%. There is a wonderful variety of animals. There is so much to see, consider planning a 2-day visit. The water park was partially closed when we visited, renovations.
The gift shop was a lot of fun. They had a wide variety of items - e.g. ebony carvings from Africa, t-shirts, designer mugs, stuffies and more.
One thing missing - water fountains to refill water bottles. And vending machines were not working.

Call before going since hours are inconsistent and schedule changes are not listed on the website. Many of the games and other activities are out of order. Bouncy castles are dirty. The large slide there's nothing to prevent small children from falling through the side of the stairs. Generally the staff are unhelpful, unmotivated. Park is poorly maintained. Disappointed season pass holder

There were hardly any animals, not on the Adventure Safari or anywhere else! We were very disappointed. I fully understand that there are measures due to Covid-19, there are a lot less people but there are a lot less animals. We saw cows, seagulls, deer and it's all in the safari adventure ... really disappointing .. the enclosures were empty.

Great experience for the kids, they get to be close to animals and feed them, my kids enjoyed a lot being close to animals and learn on what they eat and know about endangered species. The safari experience is so amazing, you can go between animals with your car and feed the animals like buffalos, camels and deers. The park aso has a woter activities area where kids can play in the water and enjoy the splashes.

You would walk over these huge animals and just wondering how gorgeous they are.

Park Safari was awesome!! Some animals you can drive right up to and feed, others were in big open areas you could walk to. It's an interesting take on a zoo but it mostly works (outside of the people that don't follow directions and have their doors open)

Wash room is extremely dirty. It's really hard for a dad with little girl. They definitely need to cleanup the toilet more often. Also they should provide more wash rooms. A park size like that I don't think it's enough in my opinion.

We had a nice day, but the ride we make in car to the work of the animals should be better controlled. People stop too long and do not follow the rules of both. It took us almost 2 hours to make this trip.

Very bad experience at Park Safari. I would like to rate zero, but there is none.
The staff are not friendly, not respectful, and they lie to the customer and do not believe him.
I would advise everyone NOT to visit this park.

Nice to spend a nice day with family and discover lots of different animals. A little expensive for what there is to offer. The park is starting to get a bit "worn". A little facelift would be necessary. Disappointing to have to pay for additional activities (camel ride, river ...)

Has everything to entertain a family with children! The sign could be make more clear so that first time visitors don't waste time walking for long distance to catch shows and live feeding dimensions.

Always very well suited for children. Adventure Safari, swimming pool, food courts, playgrounds, water games, slides, several picnic tables and what I like is that they do not put any pressure on them to buy food on the site. The park is revitalized but still some outdated facilities.

Was not really worth the long drive for us during this Covid as only the drive threw was open and there really wasn t to much to see plus you had to keep your windows up.. no feeding the animals. I think the experience would be better when it opens everything else. I will definitely return when things go back to normal.

I loved the animals at Safari Park and especially the fact that he could walk in the tourist route freely. On the other hand, some people were very keen to feed the animals and this caused a lot of slowness and "traffic". Second point: The pools were disappointing. The 'new' wave pool is very small and narrow. Personally, I would prefer Zoo Granby or even Super Aqua Club for the pools. I thought the waterfall was great but no place to swim and relax normally. The tube trails (bouet) were chargeable and I had no ca $ h on me. It was, I think, at least the most relaxing activity that I haven't even been able to enjoy. Disappointing once again. In short, I really liked the animals and their freedoms in their natural habitats but the swimming pools were really disappointing and not at all fun. Third point: I'm going to buy a bottle of water and I read "Alcoholic drink". I was shocked that in a place for children, Parc Safari sells alcoholic drinks. This is why I give 2 stars.
Recommendation:
Improvement of the wave pool
Remove or set aside alcoholic beverages
Make the tube tour free
thank you and good evening

Nice moment however the park deserves to find a new youth! It s the start of the season, of course, but a nice refresh of the place would have its effect!
We have been there, we will not be going back!

average experience a real "bazaar" at the entrance in the morning at least 1h15 waiting .. on the circuits it's the same, poor organization of cars which block the circuit for long minutes without worrying about the back wire (no employee to move the world forward and let everyone enjoy) ... to sum up a beautiful place with poor organization

Have been to the Park last month and we took advantage of that day. The kids loved watching the animals close to us and also we walked around the park where the cages of lions, bears, condor etc. are located. It was wonderful!! We would like to go there next year

Took my family on a spur of the moment trip to Parc Safari and absolutely loved it. Price was a bit steep but that didn't not detract from the experience. We cannot wait for our next visit.

first time at the safari park and I am very disappointed, the park needs a lot of improvement, very disappointed with the wave pool, the Granby zoo is in my opinion 100 x better !!! even the children are disappointed

As always a bit expensive.
However I found the sanitary measures to be very good.
The journey by car is very short. But there are several other things to see inside.
The lion tunnel is really cool.

Always a beautiful day. This year we made the safari expedition. The guide knows the animals well and the animation is on a humorous tip. Despite the work on most of the site, the animals are accessible, the pools are very cool and all the amenities are there. However, our dinner at the air-conditioned restaurant was not a huge success. The service was almost non-existent. A big half hour to order and no excuse especially that the restaurant was not very full. We missed plenty of things for dinner and the waiter came back to see us when we had finished so hamburger without condiments, glass of juice and missing water and sauce missing. On the other hand, the children had fun.

The Safari Park is making its 2018 pub talking about its wave pool! Cibole! It's a big red balloon going up and down that makes the wave in a pool as big as an above ground pool of 27 feet. My daughter has more fun at grandma's house when grandpa makes waves with the trippe! $ 2 for the small tube ride, it's laughing the world! A disappointed screech of Safari Park and its jaded young employees! At least there were animals!

I visited this place as a child and had an excellent memory of it. 35 years later, I had so much pleasure to revisit it. Gone are the days when monkeys snatched everything from the car. Bring a bag of carrots and have a good time with family, couple or friends. Ostriches, buffaloes, camels and deer roam from one car to another. It's amazing to see these animals so closely. You can picnic there, the place is superb. Some animals can be seen from a little further, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras or rhinos.

I have been going here since I was a child. It's a staple in the North Country, given how close we are to Quebec. I haven't been there in a few years, and since my last visit they revamped the Park. Their changes are fantastic.

The variety of exotic animals that they have is truly remarkable. White lions, white rhinos, tigers, cheetahs, giraffes... the park is also set up in a way that's easy to follow, so you don't get lost.

I will add one criticism and that's the food. It's acceptable, but not very good. It's basically something you eat out of necessity.

We had our vacations in August the 2nd and 3rd week we had bought 2 days the second day we planned to do the trippe on the water which was open the day before and unfortunately close the day that we wanted to go when we had taken the information the day before it would have been nice if the employee informed us we would have been ahead of the tubes on water

For the animals and the tour an 8/10 was good My daughter liked it! As for the restaurant! 0-10 would be too much, ... explaining that the meat was too dirty and that my chicken too dry really too dry The waitress laughed at us!?!? Serious! In addition that the invoices tell us how much to give for the tips? REALLY ??? After having a service of marde I do not want to return! Sorry!

Nothing but nothing special. In addition for 3 people, $ 120 I find very expensive, just to stay in the car and see the animals. In addition we were told: to keep the windows closed if you have air conditioning in the car. If you don't have air conditioning in the car, you can open the windows just 2 inches. And the photos how we do it ????

The park closes at 5PM, but access to the animals closes at 4PM. It is very annoying to have the door slammed into your face, when there is one hour left. Some of the animals from the trail where you drive were removed since our last visit, so don't expect any zebras. These are the only negative things.
On the positive side, staff is very friendly and helpful. Sufficient parking space, and restrooms are pretty much everywhere and clean.
Overall, it is a nice place to spend a day out from the city, observing and learning about some exotic animals and birds.

An hour and a half waiting to access the door! People who tried to get their children to pee were not allowed. The result is a long line of children peeing in front of the trees, as for adults and girls, they get wet!
We walked too much for not much, much of the park was out of service for improvement in summer! Very disappointed, no comparison to others like granby
