Really a beautiful park, the lions' lunch is worth...
Really a beautiful park, the lions' lunch is worth the extra charge, it's impressive. The water games are very popular with the whole family. We will go back

Very nice parc! It's like a zoo plus an animal free area (all non-dangerous animals but some have horns...)
After the day of Saturday it changed a lot since the time of the d-game Water for children extraordinary new wave pool that will open this week and stand for the so-called extraordinary water slide for the summer 2020 we took the safari to see the wonderful animals i recommend it to all families ps check the discounts on tango it's worth it
Very interesting to visit especially with the children, they will certainly love to see the animals on site especially since there is a part to do by car and the other part on foot. Spacious, beautiful and cheerful. We take beautiful photos on the spot and it allows children to spend their energy well. There is also a large place for picnics so you can take food from home and eat there. do it at least once.
I went at the beginning of July, it was not interesting, because of the measures put in place against the Covid, the day was not so pleasant, there were a very limited number of animals, the water games closed, the closed wave pool ... I do not recommend going during this critical virus period
We went Sunday with family ..
Abominable waiting to enter the park. The service time is far too long per customer. Find another system or add 20 wards. Imagine the children who are subjected to this expectation ..
You advertise for the river to go down in tubes but it is not open yet. Probably written in very small somewhere. In addition, the wave pool was closed for breakage.
The facilities are very old (toilets and changing rooms). The little game for small with small ball pool and 2 tubes to go down is very old. The green tube had a banner "danger" barely taped but open from the top ... Lack of rigor important. The picnic tables are about to crack so old.
Yes for your investments but leave through the park please!
Oh ... to finish .. The slide on burlap ... still there, very old .. It does not slip, children are stuck ... avoid waiting for nothing!
With 3 children aged 6-7-8, from opening to closing. Diversified day with safari, zoo, games, labyrinth, water games, Guinean show. Everyone loved it. Bring lettuce to feed the animals!
We had an amazing time here! The water parks here were so much fun and the slides were very enjoyable. They have nice baby pools as well as wave pools for others. Sprinklers and splash pads.
The walking tour of the animals was nice. Plenty of seats and picnic benches around the areas. Wagons, electric scooter and more ready for rental for the day. Could use more bathroom locations and stall, line ups start around 2pm for the bathroom (women) the men's seemed fine.
Very well. Season passes are for families. The habitats are rather small but offer good visibility on the animals.
Great variety of animals. Not too expensive and lots of fun activities throughout the day.
Everything is beautiful except the Africa terrace which deserves a serious renovation.
Excellent place to visit with family specially kids
Fun for preschoolers and big kids too. Highlights included the feline tunnels, feeding the gnus on safari, and the water park. Be sure to bring your own lettuce or celery, it's common to feed the animals from your car. On weekends they sometimes have someone selling it at the beginning of the safari. No carrots, they are forbidden for being too sweet. The water park has slides big enough for a grown-up and nervous children to do together. There aren't age limits on anything as far as I could tell so brave little ones can do the big slides.
Hello,
Following a first visit of this site on Saturday, August 8th 2015,
I would like to write this comment, which I think would be helpful to the organization and the high potential that this park holds to give its customers a great time.
I will not under any circumstances denigrate a state of animal health because from this point I think that this park seems to care wonderfully of their animals.
On the other hand, I want to talk about the poor food discipline of the park and therefore the bad behavior of people with the food they give to animals.
Indeed, for the price of $ 89.57 for two people on a full day all taxes included, the concept of Safari Park allowing all people to approach by car or foot of common or exotic animals and feed them. more than that, is absolutely extraordinary.
The problem is there:
As you know, and as the radio shows repeatedly, or even some signs within the park, we have to feed the diet species from the vet in the form of a $ 2.50 box.
But busy days like Saturdays or even Sundays are filled with people who do not know how to follow the rules of the establishment and "stuff" the product animals such as carrots or salad, which is like you quote it "bad to too big a dose for the animals".
People who are honest and respectful of park rules will buy boxes at $ 2.50 and try to feed the animals as everyone should.
However the animals have absolutely no regard for this food when all around, there is beautiful carrot presented by other person respecting in no case the discipline.
Result? The concept for all is lost, and bad behavior prevails.
A complete ban on the introduction of foreign food into the park, for lunch or simply not at all, would not it be a good lasting solution to maintain the concept of departure and therefore the pleasure of all small or the big animal lovers?
In addition, especially in the section safari vehicle; I wanted to add that it would be important to demonstrate or simply control the clientele, not having learned to read at school at a younger age:
There is a lane on the left for "CIRCULATE" and a lane on the right for "OBSERVER".
The consequence of not respecting the rule of feeding and the rule of circulation simply leads to the waste of the activity.
Why ? For strictly one half of the animals will have been "hidden" by motorists and another half will have been "ignored" by animals interested only in carrots.
There is nothing else to add except for the peak after a day at $ 90 (not counting the trip to get over the eventual purchase of food within the establishment), this park Absolutely the potential to promote his visit but if this problem persists, I think the day comes back very and too expensive for the final very little interaction.
Hoping that all this could improve one day, I remain convinced to return to visit these beautiful animals and advise the visit to all around me.
Thank you !
Not bad! My daughters enjoyed it. It will surely be better after the end of the work.
Good friendly atmosphere for the family. Very appreciated that we can do part of the visit by car but two stars less because under renovation during my visit and toilets not cleaned regularly
Nice walk with the family. The Safari part is very beautiful; the decor is heavenly; the animals are beautiful, peaceful. On the side of the animals in enclosures, I put a small downside: some animals like the tiger taking 100 steps in the same pattern, the bears do the same, looked stressed.
5 stars for the Safari tour. 3 for food and facilities.
I loved
A camel got into the car and left with 2 full boxes of food
Wonder of short duration. I'm glad I went there, nothing more.
It looks like this park is getting stuck in the 70's .... not very clean and very expensive
Very pleasant day. However, upon our arrival, we are informed that part of the water park is not accessible due to a reconstruction. We had consulted the site before planning this shipment and there was no indication. Obviously, we are granted free passes in compensation! The probabilities of a second visit are quite small because of the distance to travel. The staff is very welcoming. Thank you
The children liked it. But have is far from the Granby Zoo side animals and water games and other activity. But interacting with the animals by car alone is worth it.
Not a lot of water rides. Small wave pool for the number of people there was.
Awesome day! I would have given 5 stars, but we did not see the crocodiles in the adventure safari. The idea of leaving a tiger free is a plus for the experience. We noticed the scarves of camel hair distributed all over the road. It was a little chilly and we really enjoyed the attention. We will definitely come back!
Perfect place to see free animals and play in water or dry activities. I advise the place for families with children from primary to lower levels. The place would ask for just a little discount to have 5 stars. ;)
Very disappointed in my visit it was nearly 3 years that I wanted to go back because the last time I was there I had no memory because I was too small several animals were absent from their enclosure and we were suggested to wash hands coming out of the pens no purel machine had so we know how to wash hands when we finished the tour and I realized that I have a lot of small button that came out after touching the animals. Be careful most I will say that are not super clean and can cause you inconvenience.
Much nicer in September than during the construction holidays! But disappointed that there is no longer a carousel
Family friendly and different than other parks in the area. I prefer this over Granby. The price is affordable too.
Magnificent !! A nice place to share with family !!
Really fun with army trucks !! I have a little boy who loved it
Great "drive through" feature and huge waterpark. Lots of walking to do and animal feeding on the go.
Best destination to all the age group people to enjoy the whole day
The gateway that gives access to giraffes and elephants and the tunnel of super felines. For the rest very disappointing and doubtful cleanliness.
Really cool in low season. All accessible quickly. Have little fed many animals, such as camels and deer. Saw tiger and lion in the tunnel. Really cheap season pass. Already 2 beautiful day to spend this year
The water games is repair and I see you more animals like black monkeys he has na pa he has no gorillas me is not the last time I was the ba and truck to go on the gungle safari At the tower of the elephants and the giraffes he has not taken since he was going to wet the other days before he should the ads on the site if we can go around by truck.
I bought season pass this year. My family had a lot of fun looking and feeding animals. The aqua park is awesome.
Good, but after 6pm no more animals (official closing at 7pm).
I know that there are too many people but still the same problem (toilets) are dirty or closed, you have to settle this little big problem!
The rest is excellent, really excellent
This is an amazing zoo, not far from the Canadian/USA border. We decided to spend a couple of ours there on our way to Quebec.
I've been to a couple of Safaris before, so compare to them this one was good, but not the best one. We were there in the beginning of summer and there were not so many animals to feed and it seemed like only camels were interested in food.
Zoo itself is great. Lots of animals. There is a small forest with a bunch of deer just walking everywhere so you can enjoy walking with them.
The lion area is one of a kind! It's made out of glass, so you can experience lions being very close to you and jumping over you.
Pleasant but nothing to impress. Employees are overzealous of visitors wearing masks. However, the toilets have no soap and there is no cleaning at the tables in the restaurant areas.
Very nice and clean place. The staff are very friendly
Once the entries paid they tell you that the Park is under renovation. They give you free passes for next time in the season. If I pay the total it is to have fun with children when I'm there, not for next time.
Kids loved feeding the animals. Didn't feel crowded.
It's heart-warming to see that it's not all Quebecers who are racist osties (as you say so well) there are still people and companies who are tolerant of other cultures. Thanks to the safari park. The attractions are magical. The ability to interact with animals is an unforgettable experience. Only bad point the water attractions need a little love.
If you are two people it might be ok, but a family of 5, @$160 just to get in is crazy.
Safari is fun, prepare to queue (a lot) in the car. Bring some celery and carrots for the animals to come close to your car. Decent number of species among the whole parc, fun water activities for the kids. Everything is expensive and I just found one fountain in the whole parc but you can bring your own food and stuff.
Interaction with animals during the journey by car. Perfect for a family activity. .. picnic and bbq ideal for adding pleasure at the start of the journey.
Great place to go with the family, the kids will enjoy the interaction with the animals.
The rides replaced by free activities is a great idea. The price of the food is very reasonable.
It was fun, but honestly I expected more variety of animals! The best we got was giraffe ( which I loved!), rhino, zebra and elephant. There were also water slides, a pool for little ones! and a pool for adults. I think that requires a full day trip for you if you want to cover all parts with your family.
Far from what I remembered from when I was a kid. The amount and quality of animals is poor and regret buying season passes. Will return to get value and not because I will want to return for entertainment. Very highly disappointed
1 hour to get inside the park!!!!... it doesnt make any sense, go somewhere else to enjoy your time and do not waste it in a huge line.
Very fun, spent the day there with the family. Got to be up close and personal with the animals and got to feed them too. Due yo it being very hot the animals were mostly in the shade sleeping and relaxing. Got to see some newborn animals running around with their moms, monkey, deers etc. Nice to have a picnic as well but i bought the food instead. There should only be indoor restaurants instead to avoid flys and insects flying around while they prepare your meal and when sitting down to eat etc. Overall was fun and will go back.
Lovely. For your very first visit, it's unforgettable. Definitely, don't skip the Safari on the truck. It goes trough an exclusive path that worth the fair price.
Get even more fun buying from them designated vegetables to feed the animals. It's affordable in order to avoid someone could be tempted to bring it from home.
Most of the species there, are in danger of extinction. You get more pleasure knowing you are collaborating in some extension.
As usual Safari Park does not disappoint. Beautiful facilities and good diversity. The food in the fast food restaurant is not expensive for the quantity received. The park is clean and in good condition. Water games are really a plus to experience.
The animals were a bit distant and seemed jaded at times !!!
Great experience while in the car, the follow up park is meh.
I went here on the first day of the season and it was nice because the animal were curious and hungry so they would come close to the cars and put their heads into the car for the yummy carrots and treats we had for them
I even had a bison scratch his head on my passenger side mirror. No damage was done, we just found that hilarious!
Good and nice place, the zoo have wide range of animals, they still working on it and expanding it, the water park still under construction and isn't complete, the main pool in service tho... hope they keep working on it in order to expanding it and make it bigger...
