Great Place to visit. It wasn't too far from the Canadian border which was nice. The young lady we met at the ticket booth was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure to meet, and the park was clean and orderly. I've never been to a zoo that you are basically on a boardwalk higher than the animals. This was an amazing concept because there wasn't a bad place in the park to view any of the animals. The animals were happy and well cared for and there was plenty for all to do.one of my favorite exhibits was that of the lions. At 1 point you could actually go through a corridor made of reinforced plexiglass (like the kind they use in a bank / it's safe) and walk under the lions. One was lying on the top and I was able to put my hand up to her paw for a size comparison. They are docile so the young ones shouldn't get scared. They offer pony rides and camel rides as well. They also have a ride through Safari you can take with your own vehicle in which you are allowed to feed the animals certain items that are safe and healthy for them. This is a bit long to complete though. There is a rest point half way through so you can stop and eat or use the bathroom if needed. Many animals do come right up to your vehicle so it is fun for the whole family. And if you like to take pictures, bring your camera. There are many opportunities to do so. There are also some water rides available at this park. It was cold when i went so I'm not sure of exactly what they are, but it looked like a wave pool and a lazy river. Overall we had a great experience here and look forward to visiting again
