ARAI is Automotive Research Association of India, 1965, R&D organization.
It is located in Kothrud, on Paud road.
It s a good place for morning walk.
You can take stroll in jungle on hill.
There is good panoramic view of city from ARAI hill on both side Kothrud as well as Shivajinagar side.
You can take your vehicle up to entry point, from there onwards vehicles are not allowed.
Cycling is allowed inside campus.
There is lot of lush greenery inside ARAI campus.
Many young and old people come here for exercise purpose, to breathe fresh air
Early morning atmosphere is very much pleasant and calm from of city

Good place for children to take in water-park.

Maximum depth is 3.25 feet.. and they are having separate swimming pool for childrens...

Omg what a place! One of the best place to visit in Pune in early morning..fresh air,lush green hill and very peaceful...weekends are little crowdy but if u get a good spot to sit and gaze ..it is worth it...many visitors come with their dogs for a walk and you can see many types of dogs who came for a walk...come early as 6-7am..!

one of the beautiful greenery places of pune.... better option to hangout with ur beloved family and friends....though u have to walk up to the hills ..u wont get tired but get cheered up and become fresh to face daily routine..... rainy season is the best to visit....various tracks available to roam around the hills... you will get the green and clean views and scenes of pune

As a govt undertaking, thought the officials will be a little lazy and has don't care attitude. But everyone here is work driven and dedicated to their job. They are strict to each and every point of the amendments and certificates. Phones are not allowed here as personnels from all automotive industries in India come here for the valuable certificate, so we can only take snaps of places around ARAI.

Greenry all over, a calm and refreshing atmosphere, good for a morning walk, photography and adventure.

This place is situated at very beautiful green zone. When you enter inside at start you found lord Ganesha temple, so just pray and go ahead. I visited this place for our company vehicle registration process. Staff of ARAI is helpful and polite. Photographs inside ARAI is strictly prohibited so please don't try. Canteen facility for guests is awesome...

A beautiful piece of green land right between the concrete jungle. Best place for morning and evening walks. Very safe even in nights.

All the testing for cars sold in India are done here. Only after their approval can a car be sold in India. reaching the place in a taxi is advisable as coming back down the hill will be a long walk. Hence request the taxi to wait until your work gets over or ask them to pick up at a specified time.
