I highly recommend the safari expedition it was great!
Drove all the way to park safari from Montreal only to find out that there had been a power outage an hour earlier! Jeez! NO WHERE on their site does it indicate that. I had a tuango offer that was expiring today. I was told that I could return during the week, as the offer mentions. Had I not mentioned that I WORK during the week and cannot take a day off work to come here they wouldn't have changed it to the weekend. Plus! I couldn't use the bathroom! A young male staff member joked about squatting..what an idiot! Staff members try to take advantage of the customers and are not very bright.
Even though the weather was full we still had a blast
The Lions & wolves were awesome , the Japanese macaques were adorable.
Great family fun
This is one of the best parks in Quebec I would like to visit one day with my girlfriend. lpw
Really fun day! My first time and it won't be my last.
Does not worth the money, it is more a "family" oriented theme park, not recommended at all
it's really expensive when you go off season and can't access their slides or other fun activities. Otherwise, I would tell people to go to this place if you are looking for a fun, educational trip. Just don't expect to get the best value for your money
Always have fun with my young kids. It is pricey when you consider that the drive through with the animals is not what it used to be compared to 15+years ago. A lot fewer animals. Sometimes you drive through sections of the park not seeing a single animal. The main park has animals but it's the same old each year.
The safari park offers coolboxes. Unfortunately not yet developed ... the coolbox is very good. But we are given the keys only from 3:30 p.m. or the time when we are given access to the block pool from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. then the activity starts at 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. so we have access to the coolbox and we must return to the entrance. of the park to have the key ... so we do not take advantage of this beautiful location or only at bedtime and we have to return it for 10am but we have an activity from 8am to 9:30 am ...
In addition, during the visit, the window must be kept closed at all times even when the animals are far away ... room for improvement
Full of suggestions to give them
It's too much fun at the safari park. I love seeing my kids having fun and spending their energy in water games, swimming pools, slides and in the park. We took the annual pass for the first time and let's go there often! The car ride to see the animals is awesome.
Water park is ok. The rest of the park is rundown and porly maintained, overgrown anamal penns, green water. We were quite dissapointed considering the entry fee.
Water park, play parks, car safari, lots of animals to see. We spend a very good afternoon with the family!
This was one of favorite family destinations until COVID19 restrictions came to effect. Many activities including Safari adventure, Aquatics and rides, are not the same experience, and many are closed for safety reasons. Aside from that, staff are very friendly, and the picnic area is a nice getaway for open-air lovers.
Half of the water games are closed otherwise I enjoyed the experience
We noticed on our last visit that the variety of animals seemed a little poor. The place was also under renovation, we were probably unlucky. However it was nonetheless a very nice family day in the water games. The 2 day package with hotel was advantageous.
Great family day out with my 3 year old daughter and 2 year old boy. He was impressed by the large animals (dromedaries, bison, red deer) which passed by the car.
A magical place, appropriate for children with an excellent location, ideal to get the stress out, you can take your food and a little vegetables to give to the animals, I highly recommend it.
Really nice, a lot activities to do besides the animals
It is a picture of a few years ago, but it is a very good memory.
I was impressed because the park circumferential been have been Fureae the animals in private cars.
I did not Maware the park in the car when I went to last year, perhaps there was something.
Thank you for standing up for what is right. I will be visiting with my family very soon.
Superb place for a family outing or with friends. The animals are very pretty. There is air for picnic as well as some food kiosk. Go worth it!
More then 30 minutes at the traffic just to enter, and we are not in yet.
They didn't open all posts.
Not a good way to start the season
Apparently nothing change in the last 3 years....
30 min waiting only to pay. Many attractions close! The swimming pools (except for one), the slide, the games of firm addresses, dear pays for what we have! Some pens are abandoned!
A beautiful place ... tjs improving
No rhinoceros sight
We went on a 2 day package. First day almost 1:15 to go to the reception to pay. The indications are not very clear since 2 lanes are reserved for the passport holder in the left lane. Once there we immediately went for the safari by car. There were a lot of people that day so quite long because we have to wait ... but the animals were cooperative despite the heat and the number of people. We had brought lettuce and carrots but there was a warning not to give carrots. A piece of advice bring you lettuce en masse !!!!!!
We have dinner in our car. After the car safari our 4 year old wanted to go to the water games. So we went. state of the toilet simply disgusting. I slipped at the entrance since the floors are wet but luckily I didn't fall! The water games are correct but for the downhill trip the system is ordinary because you have to go at the end of the course to look for the trips and go up at the beginning. The descent is sometimes long let's say that having ropes suspended to pull us would be practiced or poles by the rescuers.
Lifeguards do their job very well. A few games could use a lot of love but overall it's good. It is perfect for the little ones because not deep.
To end our 1st day we rented a cart for $ 12 and we went for a walk to see animals. And we discovered the water games of the dolphins at the end with lots of water games and slides !!!!
2nd day we arrive at 10am and no wait! Not a lot of people. We decide to make our discoveries on foot. We attended very interesting lion snacks. we had bought a lot of food boxes the day before so we went to see the deer who liked it a lot !!!!
We had a discount for the adventure safari and took advantage of the 2nd day !!! It's too fun we have access to places not authorized by car in addition to a specialist who teaches us a lot of things about animals! It brews and it's fun!
So in summary
- bring a lot of lettuce and celery
- enjoy the adventure safari
- for deer buy food from the zoo (on sale at the entrance of the car safari)
- make a game plan to see as much as possible because there is a lot to see and do!
I find the price of entry quite expensive: the water games are not all open, the color of the water wave pool is poor.
I'd like to be reimbursed. $ 109.05 entrance for 3 people. Advertising is LOSS. Once there, we have absolutely no idea what we are made to believe. Wave pool closed indefinitely. Very few animals to see by car. No staff or very little. The places seem abandoned. NO MANEGE in the amusement park. We brought our bathing suits for nothing. The animals seem to be left to themselves. We are given a paper at the entrance, while we pass the gate for a free visit next. But let's see ... who wants to go back there ??
Great place to wander around. The tube ride on the lazy river was fun; the kids had a blast.
The drive through the safari was okay but I wouldn't recommend taking a new vehicle (or a cherished vehicle). The animals for the most part don't bother the vehicles but a lot of drivers seem to forget that they are still responsible for driving; I saw several vehicles where people had their children sitting on their lap driving their vehicles.
I do not believe that Children should have to undergo Religious Nonsense in a place made in their IMAGE ... The only acceptable place to Pray is at home!
Nice place to go out with family
The animals are quiet and come closer to us without fear
Magnificent park, a dozen African animals and water games, we spent a great day.
The place improved in the last 10 years, the animals are now look well feed. The kids had fun, this place is good for a change of pace from Gramby or park omega.
Wonderful place. My kids really liked it there. They wanted to go back to the place even the next day. Visit and you will be glad.
Beautiful site for children damage some renovations in progress, not yet completed
Very cool experience. A real up close and personal interaction with the animals.
We went with the family this summer and honestly it is really easier to do with young children (5 years and under) than the Granby Zoo. The new access to the giraffes is really pleasant for both children and adults and we can give them food. The deer trail is fantastic for kids, we are in direct contact with small animals and we can feed them. On the other hand, we were a little disappointed with the car ride, there were a lot less animals than usual. ** DO NOT WEAR CARROTS TO FEED ANIMALS, IT IS NOW FORBIDDEN! **
It is always fun to go visit the animals with your car. But the bathrooms needs an upgrade. Other than that I love my visit as always.
What to occupy his day. Several possibilities for meals. Clean.
Great summer day with my kid. On very hot days don t forget water bottles and lots of it. Very pleasant and lots of things to see. My only complaint was not enough time to see everything. So plan ahead and go early ...
Staff in pools didnt even watch the kids. free for all. they would ignore and just chat with each other. also some didnt speak english even though usa and Ontario plates everywhere. no signs in certain areas with rules like wave pool and then would yell at you like you should know. lazy river wasnt lazy at all. again no signs to find where to get tubes, you yourself have to walk across park to get them and carry them to start.
make sure its hot out, you will go through park super quick and only thing to keep kids busy it the pools. they removed any rides like there used to be and replaced with bouncy castles. kids did like them but....
animals were repetitive and limited. feeding giraffes was probably best part. good experience for kids but not something we would do again go but be aware if its a cold day because youll be done evrything in a hour and half without pool use.
The drive did not allow us to see the elephant and the giraffes. There are mostly geese on the course, we did not appreciate this passage. At one of the bumpy passages, my car's rear hooked on passing despite the very low speed. The site is ok, we liked the section child park. Summer in autumn, the inflatable games were partly wet. In my opinion, the lions tunnel is a big plus for Safari Park, but when there are plenty of people and you find yourself stuck in the middle, it's a little unpleasant. It's just wide enough for two strollers to pass. The footbridge below the macaques is the moment we preferred because there are many and they play together, there were babies, very cute to watch. The second beautiful moment was with the fawns that we can feed with molded or salad. Otherwise, we find that the park is poorly structured, you have to walk a lot from one place to another. The ice cream was not expensive but really not good. Nice day anyway, nice with children. It is no longer allowed to give carrots, only salad. The water section is under renovation. There was a lot of Halloween decor, it was very beautiful!
Portion on foot, without reproach. But the car portion is too much like traffic.
Very dirty ! Bring your own food because absolutely disgusting options, filthy dirty !!
It was good. My kids really enjoyed spending time there. They saw a lot of animals. Thank you
There is nothing over xl in the shops, staff was arrogant, overall good but not great
It looks like he has fewer animals than before and more this year, the more the right to bring carrots for animals ... it would be lefun that they write it more prominently on the site !! ! That's all I had!
Great Parc ! Our car over heated in the safari tour, we stopped and within minute an employee came to see us. He saw that he couldn t help us and sent somebody more experimented to help us out. Great service
Lots of activities on the site. Always clean site. Friendly staff. We have 2-3 year old kids and it's just PERFECT as a summer outing.
Not over crowded and a variety of things to see and do. The glass corridors thru the lion habitat is incredible.
I like to see the animals so close and finally flatter them
Ark, they blind us with their false advertising. Their pool is poorly maintained. A large yellow / brown ring surrounds them. Their new wave ball. A real joke. No waves, and the entrance to access it is not even two meters.
The whole site seems to be abandoned. We will not be going back.
If you hesitate between safari park and a zoo ..., the zoo is better in my opinion.
They advertise that the water park will be larger and ready but in reality, it is under construction some ... I asked if he could push me the date on my family ticket until next year. They refused. This is false advertising. I buy the tickets to see the novelty 2019 so I expect to see the novelty, right?
I had to go to the safari park because I did not want to lose my ticket. Alias attractions inflatable games are not ready at the indicated time. The employee told us, "It'll be ready when it's ready." It's quite ordinary as an animal park. The drive is good. The site in general would need love.
We loved our 2 day visit to the park! As in my memories of 15 years ago. The safari expedition was vrm sick! The animation is great with the music and the holes in the mouth the girls have a good laugh. It has to be redone. Yes it is in renovations a few places but it is not the end of the world. We had great fun!
Full of interesting activities for a day with the kids. But the car ride can be very long in busy times.
We enjoyed Parc Safari because it has a greater diversity of animals than at other places we've visited. The swimming area was also nice and refreshing.
