I went into the Paramount Kia dealership less than a week ago and saw a salesman named Chris. I had been to other dealerships and felt like they were trying to push on me what THEY wanted me to buy, not what I needed. I went in and met Chris and he listened to my concerns and the things I felt were important in my car purchase. He never tried to oversell me or push something I wasn t comfortable with. As a single woman I found that to be the best quality. I didn t feel like I was being taken advantage of like you do in other dealerships. Thanks Chris Gallegos!! Wish there were more honest salesman out there like you.

Jeff Franette was great! I told him what I could pay and he did everything to get me there. I was a tough case so they had to really work hard. When it was all said and done they didn't come back to me with some payment $200 higher than I said I could pay, which has happened at other dealerships. They kept the payment within the range requested and due to keeping it there, they didn't bother me with the upsell of all the warranties. I really appreciate them and what they have done for me. Tried to buy a car from this dealership. Traded a car in and filled out all paperwork for a loan on the car, had it detailed, left my trade in with them and drove home in the car that night. Surprised my father with a new car for Christmas. The next day the finance manager calls me and tells me my deal fell through (after looking at my trade in and finding a few things wrong with it.) I was TRICKED into driving a car home with a dealer plate "until my plate came in". Little did I know that meant they were holding out to see if my trade in was worth what we signed paperwork on or not. So I had to take my fathers new Christmas present back and explain what happened to him. I will always HATE this place after they caused my family this aggravation and disappointment. Bought a new car from Hendrick Kia the next day for $4000 less and 3% less on financing.

Billboards around Hickory were advertising 120% of Blue Book Value on trade in. I bought my 2011 Kia Sportage from Paramount Kia in Feb 2011. I got a fair deal and have received good service over the past 2 1/2 years. When I went to Paramount Kia last Wednesday to look at the new Optima's, Justin greeted me in a very professional manner. I told him what I was looking for in a car from my reviews on the internet. Justin lead me to the color and package on the Optima that I was looking for. He reviewed the car with me and we went for a quick test drive. Justin gave no pressure and told me if I was interested to bring my car back when I had time and he would get it appraised. I went back to see Justin on Saturday morning. He looked up my current car on auto trader and gave me a figure they would buy it for straight out. He got the head appraiser to appraise my car for trade in and the value was better. Justin made sure I was aware of the rebates and the 2 different financing options available from Kia.

With all this info and another test drive I made my deal with Justin. He did a great job and followed up on Monday to see if everything was ok. I would recommend the dealership to anyone and please be sure to deal with Justin if you go. He is very professional.

I was extremely satisfied with my first car buying experience. Brent was extremely helpful, and made the entire process very quick and painless. Whenever I asked to test drive a car, he made sure that I was able to drive on multiple roads and enviroments to see how the car handled in each enviroment. When I got back to the dealership, I knew that I wanted the car I had test drove, so we went inside to do paperwork. An hour later, and I drove off the lot with my new car. I'm extremely satisfied with Paramount Kia of Hickory. I know for a fact I will be returning for another car. Thanks Brent for making my experience so enjoyable!

Chris Gallegos our sales representative at Paramount Kia talked us into upgrading our 2017 base model Kia soul up to 2018 Kia+ Soul. We were in the service department with our Kia because it had a problem with a sensor that they had to repair. My husband I decide to get up and walk around. We went up to look at the new cars that they had on the lot well my while my husband I was looking at something else Chris came over to me and just a start asking me questions and having a conversation next thing you know he talked us into upgrading to 2018. He did a very well presentation of the 2018 Kia soul did a good job at talking us into buying it he was very considerate showing us everything on the car we needed to know other than holding the steering wheel and driving down the road. Your finance man Patrick Butler did a good job of explaining things and making sure that we had what we wanted with the car as far as financing .My husband and I we came out of there happier people because of how well they treated us if you want to buy a car especially a Kia I need to come talk to Paramount Kia and come talk to Chris

My husband and I have been looking for a mini-van for a little while now. Although our children are grown and we had downsized our vehicle previously, we have adopted my 79 year old grandmother and 2 grandbabies, with another on the way. We love to have them all but my 5 passenger Rogue was no longer large enough. We have test driven a few other vehicles but they either weren't what we were looking for or we just couldn't get the numbers right for us. Matthew Angle posted a picture just yesterday of a 2012 Honda Odyssey, that looked to be just what we'd been praying to find. My husband just so happened to be in the area when I texted him about it. I know that Bro. Matt is an honest person and would never put us in anything that wasn't a good vehicle. You're not just selling cars, you're selling your reputation and character. We were able to purchase this vehicle without the usual hassle, buy something that we really wanted and needed instead of just what we could afford, and do it in half the time we've spent buying vehicles in the past. This will make our 4th purchase from Paramount Kia, 2 of those being new car purchases. We have NEVER experienced any issues or problems with the sales team, or service dept. I recommend Paramount Kia to anyone looking for a new or used car, and would absolutely recommend Matthew Angle. Thanks!

Funny how alot these 5 star reviews are written in similar context, and so many people remember the first and last name of the salesman. And most are not google users. Looks like the employees are doing it. Fishy fishy...

Anyway

Went to browse for a vehicle to purchase. I felt pressured when I made clear my intentions and what I wanted. I understand a car salesman has a job to do but don't push it over the limit. There are boundaries. Also, either the car salesman was stupid or shady. He had a paper in his hand with prices of the various vehicles but everytime I asked him what the price of a vehicle was he would ask me what I thought it was, all I answered everytime was 'I don't know why don't you tell me'. What if I said 20k world he have said 19k? Or if I said 15K world he have said 14K? Make me feel like in getting a deal? When in reality he would be taking advantage of me? I had an extremely hard time trying to get prices from this man. I really wished I didn't have such a horrible experience. I cannot seem to find any decent place in hickory to purchase a vehicle so I'll just keep looking.

This is the car I have bought myself. My husband has bought 2 and my daughter has bought 2 also my son has bought 2 Kia's. So I guess we are a Kia family. We've always had a very positive experience with Paramount Kia and great customer service after the sales. Easy people to work with. They will do everything possible to help get you into the car that you want.

Had an awesome buying experience at Paramount Kia. I needed another vehicle but did not have a lot of cash to put down, nor do I have perfect credit. Everyone at Paramount was very helpful and I had several buying options even though I only had a small trade in and some credit issues. I was able to purchase a 2008 Mercury Mariner with low miles and got payments exactly where I needed them. I would reccomend this dealership to my friends, and for all my future purchases!!!

Right before Christmas I took my Kia Rio in for its first service. Everyone was professional and friendly from start to finish. I had a another experience as well. A Good Samaritan and Act of Kindness, a Customer there, I don't know who, there weren't many. And honestly I didn't talk to anyone but the staff. I can only think of one man who was asked to sing and dance for his coffee in which I laughed. An Anonymous Customer left a One Hundred Dollar bill toward my bill. I am Thankful and Grateful for that Good Samaritan and I have Paid it Forward. Thank You and God Bless

No wonder this dealership has 4 1/2 stars! They call and beg you, and try to bribe you to remove your bad reviews! Without going into details, if you come to this service department without knowledge of the workings of a vehicle, you WILL pay more than you should and chances are, the problem will not get repaired correctly. The safety of my family and yours, is more important to me than Paramount Kia having good reviews. I refuse to let bad service work that potentially affects the safety of the occupants of my vehicle to go unannounced. I also refuse to allow people who do not have knowledge of vehicles be taken advantage of. Therefore, THIS review will not be removed. Thank you Paramount Kia for giving me the opportunity to explore other dealerships.

I didn't think we would be able to get approved for a new car but bobbi helped us out so much and found the right car for me. I also didn't think I would like a Kia but the new ones are so nice. I called the service department and Kia customer service several times explaining the issue with my vehicle, to insure they understood they knew problem I was having( An issue that was part of a recall) So that I would not have a large service charge. I was called back after two days and was informed I would have to pay to the have the part that was installed by another dealer myself. I called many times to avoid this issue.

WE LOVE OUR NEW CAR!!! Both of my parents have health issues that make it hard for them to get in/out of a car. Our previous vehicle was a Jeep Liberty and believe it or not my SOUL is alot easier for them to get in/out of. It has more leg room & my father no longer complains about being bounced around. Carlton Garris, my salesman, was very helpful. He didn't push me into buying a car I didn't need (like my previous sales experience at another dealership). He helped with setting up all the "gadgets" in the car that I had no earthly idea how to set up. The gas mileage is great. I have "NO COMPLAINTS" whatsoever. My parents are also very pleased with our choice. Thank you, everyone at Paramount KIA for helping me make their life easier!

Best car buying experience I've had. The dealership itself has a great variety of cars of all makes and prices were definitely reasonable, after a few monthsof owning the car have no complaints either. Would definitely recommend this dealership. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the customer service was outstanding. Our sales rep. Cody Mcrary was was very knowledgeable about every vehicle we looked at and very patiently answered ALL our many questions. Had only made two payments on my new Kia Soul from Paramount, when I was involved in an accident. After dealing with insurance, repairs, being told my new car was going to be totalled, because of the air bag deployment (seriously?), I stopped by Paramount to see what, if anything could be done to help. Even though I had no trade in, not cash reserve, and good but very little credit ratings, inside of 1 1/2 hours, Tim Whitener had me in another new Kia Soul, and my payments only went up a little. Went to Paramount first because they are a corporate season sponor for Hickory Community Theatre, where I am Production Stage Manager. I have and will continually highly recommend Paramount Kia to anyone looking for a new, or grand quality used vehicle. These folks helped me get rid of all the "lot lizard" jokes and tales I had ever heard. Thank you Tim and Paramount Kia for making my life a little easier. Thom Hutchens

From the moment I started to chat online with Jessica Pruett my experience with Paramount Kia was nothing but positive. She was as much help as she could possibly be in her role and then she referred me to Nelson Langley and he was very, very friendly and inviting. I truly felt like I was welcome not just as a customer but as a person. My wife and I had visited Paramount on Sunday and looked at the new and used cars. We found a 2013 Black Cherry Kia Sportage that my wife absolutely feel in love with. We went to meet Nelson on Tuesday evening and by 8:00 PM my wife and I were the proud owners of that Sportage. From the test drive on we never felt pressured to buy this or any other car on their lot. Nelson kept it simple, there was none of that mumbo jumbo sales pitch, there was never any fast and furious with the numbers. Just plain down home talk. We had one discrepancy about the sales price, I brought that up and within five minutes or less Nelson was back with the issue resolved. I felt like we were dealt with fairly and honestly at all times. We feel like we were given a fair and good price on the vehicle we purchased. This was the first "new" vehicle that my wife and I have ever purchased and she was so nervous that she was almost sick. Thanks to Nelson and one of the sales managers( for the life of me I can't remember his name) they kept her as calm as possible thru the approval and purchase process. When our loan was approved and we met with the sales manager to look at our options and sign all those many documents, he was so helpful and honest in response to our questions. We couldn't be happier with our new Kia Sportage and couldn't be happier with our experience at Paramount Kia. Wonderful, down home people.
