VASAFitness. Been a member for a couple years and really like the facilities. It s nice to have a place where I can get a full workout. Also the payment place who works for VASAFitness is easy to work with. Would like to have an easier way to update a payment source.

Their sleezy rep at the local gym told us we would only be signing on a monthly basis and that we could cancel anytime. When the gym was not up to par, we decided to cancel. Paramount acceptance told us that we had signed a two year contract and they were not letting us out of it. NOW they are charging more than double my original payment. My lawyer will now be involved.

Havent dealt with them for awhile now, but I figure I should leave my review... they took 150 dollars out of my account without even consulting me. Then I find out that once I make a payment to them, in the fine print it automatically sets up auto payment, and like I said, WITHOUT TELLING ME! I WISH GOOGLE WOULD GIVE A ZERO STAR OPTION!

I recently contacted Paramount Acceptance regarding my gym cancellation request. I sent a letter detailing my request to cancel my membership and requested a response indicating that the request had been received. Stephanita, from Paramount Acceptance was wonderful in her prompt followup with me and confirmed that I had indeed canceled my contract. There were no additional loopholes or forms to complete. I appreciated her assistance and timeliness to my inquiry. This was one of my most pleasant experiences in canceling a gym membership. Thank you for your assistance Stephanita, it was greatly appreciated.

I use riviera fitness and have had nothing but problems canceling my gym subscription. Paramount Acceptance does their billing they have given me the run around. They tell me I have email them to cancel I cant do it over the phone and proceed to give me an email thats incorrect. The email wont go thru. So I went directly to their website and filed a complaint and stated I wanted to cancel. I havent heard anything back as of yet. I have tried this for 2 months. The first time I let them take a payment but didnt want it to be auto drafted because I wanted to cancel. Big mistake! They continued to draft my card instead of sending a final bill. When i changed cards I refused to give the info I just want to cancel and pay a final bill. Thats it.

Charlie was an amazing customer service rep! Solved my issue where The local VASA couldnt and went out of her way to help me figure out and offer other options to solve my issue.

My issue was Vasa refused to let me pay for my membership out right and they forced me to pay month to month when I had an issue with my credit card taking monthly payments so I got hit with late fees.

Years ago I had some less than desirable dealings with Paramount Acceptance, but I have had several opportunities to work with them in the last six months or so and they have been GREAT...every single time. I canceled my gym membership last month and paid the gym what my remaining balance was. I also put stop payments on my bank account for Paramount because I was told by others they would continue to withdraw funds even though I paid my last payment to my gym as I was on a month to month membership. I look on my bank account today and see that Paramount took out 2 payments on 1/3/17. I called my bank and asked what was going on as I had a stop payment on my account for Paramount. I was informed that Paramount changed their wording in their title in order to circumvent the stop payment. This is a very questionable practice. I will be changing my bank account today.

Definitely zero stars if I could. This company is horrible at communications with gym members. In the past I've sent an email to change my payment due date twice. Both times I've gotten a response back in one day with a confirmation of it being changed. I did the same thing last week two times and I still haven't received a response. Today the payment was drafted out. I called and was told it takes 5 business days. No one ever said that before but like I said before, this company managed to change it before within 1 day, not 5. I cannot wait until my contract is up because for future business, if paramount is the billing company, I will not sign anything.

Do NOT try cancelling or changing an aspect of your membership through the guys at the gym because apparently their heads aren t big enough to handle a simple system change or even note that it happened...and if you try calling and having them change it and provide stellar service, good luck! You won t get anywhere. Spoke to Taylor at customer service and she was of no help. When I asked to SPEAK to a supervisor she refused and offered me nothing to make up for their mistakes. SUCH A JOKE.

ALLYSA, my customer service rep deserves 5 stars. She was great and helped handle all my needs in a kind, professional manner. This company, however, needs a new way of doing things. I have had to call in the past due to my gym's mistakes in mishandling credit card information and my call with Allysa was the first pleasant call I have had with this company.

The employee was very helpful and understanding when it came to cancelling my gym membership. My husband and I are moving out of state and needed to cancel our membership this month. After looking into the cancellation, the employee found that I would be paying our yearly gym fee this month, which jumped our cancellation fees to over a $100. She was so understanding about us moving that she spoke with her managers to help get that yearly fee waived. I ve never had a customer service rep be so helpful and kind on the phone!

Do not sign any contract with these crooks. They will not cancel your month-to-month contract unless you pay outstanding balance. Even if you had moved out of state or canceled the contract verbally. Make sure you pay off what you owe AND mail a written cancelation. Then follow-up to verify they did cancel.

Thanks to Bo, I had paid off my account in August and recieved a phone call stating I still owe payments after my contract was canceled. I spoke to two other reps and they didn't want to hear me out, they just wanted me to pay for two months and then they will cancel my auto renewal. Bo took the time out to reserch all available information. Come to find out it was canceled. Thanks Bo for the hard work and your patience.

I was just reading all the reviews before I made a call. I'd say 60% and the other bad. I was a little hesitant to call. But I did, I called right when they opened waited on hold off about 5 min, got a little frustrated, then tried again call was answered in about 1 min. Rep. Answered my call, pulled up the accounts for my wife's account, found the problem, gave me a solution, and helped me out with some fees. Quick, fast, respectulful, and friendly. Overall my call was like 3 min. Very nice!!

Beside they have a poor costumer service, most of their workers are impolite, and completely disrespectful. I called to discuss a billing issue involving my local fitness center account. I spoke to Bonnie and explained my billing question. It soon became apparent that it was a very unique situation and there were no quick answers. Instead of apologizing and telling me that nothing could be done, this agent promptly forwarded me to a supervisor.

Within an hour, I received a call from Ivy to discuss my concerns. Ivy listened to me and seemed very concerned. She quickly agreed to an adjustment without any hesitation. Not only was she prompt in issuing my credit, she was extremely kind and empathetic during our discussion. These two are professional by any definition and both are clearly assets to your firm.

As a small business owner, I know how important customer relations are to any company. Bonnie and Ivy represented your business with care, courtesy and the utmost professionalism. Job well done!

Whitney was all of the customer service things I expected when cancelling my membership: she was polite, she offered all the information I asked for, as well as more info that I had not asked for, but was relevant. She was prompt and efficient when helping me cancel, and did not try (excessively) to recover my business, recognizing immediately that I was not open to any recovery offers, etc. She did a great job with me, and leaves a very good impression of VASA Fitness in my experience.

I have had the worst experience ever with these people. I renewed my annual gym membership with a deal on paying a year in advance. Someone wrongly created a second account for the new year. Later I found they were still drawing my monthly dues on the first account. Despite emails and at this point dozens of call to them and my credit card company, almost a year later they continue to draw the monthly dues. The gym doesn't even exist anymore!!! They have just lied to my credit company saying I have never disputed the charges!! They do not seem to have anyone at any level who has common sense and a trace of customer service knowledge. This is incompetence and fraud at a stupendous level. I may have to go through the incredible nuisance of cancelling my credit card just to get this to stop. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

I called in January to have my buddy pass membership canceled and was told bt customer service that they would cancel the plan for me and it is now March. I was not only charged for January, but also February and March.

So when I called in March To Ask them why I was still being charged they said the previous representative didn't leave any notes !

That's not how you answer a customer. It's not my fault she did not leave any notes. I want my whole Vasa membership canceled. I'm now on hold for 15 minutes. This is ridiculous.
